Kate Middleton covers the new issue of People, and inside, the Duchess-obsessed mag gives a full run-down on Kate’s recent health woes. As you’ve probably heard, Kate’s been suffering from severe morning sickness – a result of a condition known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum that affects about 1 in 100 pregnant women. Kate made her first public appearance in 10 weeks yesterday, and it was taken by many royal-watchers as an encouraging sign that she’s beginning to recover from her illness. People reports that those closest to Kate believe she’s turned a corner and that the worst is over. In fact, sources say she seems happier than ever these days, and seems thrilled with the prospect of a little brother or sister for Prince George: “She was her smiling, bubbly self,” says one insider who spent time with Kate at recent event. “You would have never guessed she’s been ill.” The source cautions, however, that Kate’s health is not yet back to 100%: “It is not right to say she is absolutely fine. She is still feeling some effects of HG. But she is definitely recovering.” Hyperemesis Gravidarum is usually at its most severe in the first trimester. Kate is due in April , so there’s reason to believe she’s on the mend. While she’s likely to experience some symptoms for the remainder of her pregnancy, insiders have hinted that Kate will be making far more frequent public appearances in the coming months. Teenagers are impressionable; this video feeds them the same old ugly story of female enslavement, not emancipation or equality. “Parents should object and do their best to prevent their children from seeing it; even better would be for Rihanna herself to recognise the responsibility she has as a public figure to promote positive and healthy images of women, and to stop selling out, under cover of ‘art’, to commercial interests which demean women.” Miranda Suit of Safermedia, a charity that campaigns against sex and violence in the media adds: “[Rihanna’s] crude, tasteless and explicit dancing, combined with the money-focused lyrics, are telling all her fans – many of them still children – that it is good for women and girls to sell their body, and right for men and boys to see women purely as a sexual commodity. “Rihanna has sold out completely to the commercialisation and objectification of women’s bodies and their sexuality. According to TMZ Justin Instagrammed a few minutes ago, “Don’t listen to em. I still got all my jewelry.” Here’s the deal. Justin is lying to cover for his “friends.” A half hour later, he took the comment down. Let us assure you … the theft happened, and he kicked the Lils out of the house. Justin Bieber has finally had it … TMZ has learned Lil Twist and Lil Za are both persona non grata at his Calabasas mansion after expensive jewelry went missing. Sources connected to the Biebs tell TMZ … Justin was furious earlier this month when he discovered the jewelry and other items were nowhere to be found. Twist and Za had both been staying at the house and they had thrown several parties in Justin’s absence. We’re told Justin had no idea who stole the items, but blamed Twist and Za because it was on their watch. He ordered them out and our sources say both of them are PISSED. We’re told Justin has finally seen the light that he’s gotta change … or else. Justin just performed in Singapore (above) and actually showed up 15 minutes early, but not before he gave 30 tickets to kids from a local orphanage. After a performance at the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore on Sunday night, the singer’s fans took to Twitter to blast her for being ‘disappointing,’ ‘high on tweeds,’ and even ‘lip-synching’ during the show. “Rihanna is lip-synching. As expected, Apple introduced the new iPhone 5S at a media event Tuesday. Also as anticipated, the iPhone 5S will be the same size and design and the current iPhone 5, however it will feature improved specifications and features. Perhaps most notably, it be available in colors: silver, gold, and space Gray. Another significant new feature is a “Touch ID” fingerprint sensor built into the home button that’s capable of scanning sub-epidermal skin layers. Seriously. It’s got fingerprint ID technology on a hand-held device, NCIS style. Touch ID can be used to unlock an iPhone and authorize iTunes purchases. Built into the home button, Touch ID uses a laser cut crystal, together with the capacitive touch sensor, to take a high-resolution image of your fingerprint . With its analysis, it will be able to provide accurate readings at any angle. The Touch ID sensor recognizes the touch of a finger so the sensor is only activated when actually needed by the iPhone user, preserving battery life. All information is encrypted and stored in the Secure Enclave inside the A7 chip on the iPhone 5s; it’s never on Apple servers or backed up to iCloud. The improvements don’t stop there. Internally, the iPhone 5S will feature a 64-bit A7 processor that will reportedly be up to twice as fast at CPU tasks. The rear camera in the iPhone 5s has a new 5-element lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a sensor that is 15 percent larger than the current iPhone 5. Other new camera features include Burst Mode, capable of capturing 10 photos per second, and Slo-Mo 720p video capture at 120 frames per second. The iPhone 5s will cost $199, $299, and $399 for 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB models respectively with a 2-year contract; $649/$749/$849 with no contract. It will available in stores in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and the UK starting in just 10 days: Friday, September 20.
