Cocaine use… Stevie J Ordered To Rehab Again Stevie J just narrowly missed a stint in jail over his unpaid $1 million in child support. As previously reported Steebie was set to sit behind bars for unpaid support for two of his six kids , but apparently a judge sent him to rehab instead. Why? For alleged continued cocaine use. PageSix reports: Reality TV star and Grammy-winning record producer Steven Jordan was ordered to rehab followed by home detention for violating the terms of his bail. It’s the second time the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star, aka Stevie J, has been hauled into Manhattan federal court for using drugs while awaiting trial for failure to pay over $1 million in child support. Judge Debra Freeman warned Jordan that next time he’s caught, he will likely go straight to prison. Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew DeFilippis said Jordan failed multiple drugs tests, including in June and August, and that he has missed many more testing appointments. The Atlanta resident also flew to Buffalo, NY, without permission and has “adamantly denied” his drug use, DeFilippis told the judge. Jordan called the government’s concerns “lies” once outside the courtroom and challenged prosecutors to have it out face-to-face. He admitted to using coke twice this year — both times while in his LA studio. But said he never went to Buffalo, NY, in March without permission. “I never left without letting them know,” he said, before shouting at prosecutors walking back to their offices, calling them “clowns.” Jordan, who drove off in a Rolls-Royce, was arrested in 2014 for being a deadbeat dad to a son and daughter who lived with their mother in Pennsylvania Stevie was previously sent to rehab in November of last year. Stevie J Is Going To Jail Over $1.1 Million Unpaid Child Support Case Stevie J is headed to jail next week! We EXCLUSIVELY reported back in May that the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star – who was born Steven Jordan was battling a seven figure sum in back support for his son, now 18, and daughter, 17. According to court papers obtained by BOSSIP, Stevie was supposed to pay $8,557 a month for the kids, and as of 2014, owed $1,107,412. The reality star had unsuccessfully tried to apply for “deferred prosecution,” where he’d essentially get off in exchange for him agreeing to certain terms from the government. But lawyers for the feds revealed that the government rejected Stevie’s request, and a judge scheduled it for trial in December. And Stevie J said he was none too pleased with the news. “It went how it went,” he told BOSSIP. “I got some things up my sleeve too. This case is bull***t.” Accompanied by his son, Lil Stevie, and a woman believed to be Lil Stevie’s mother, Stevie J told BOSSIP outside court that he’s a doting dad who’d just spent the weekend with his children enjoying the Bad Boy Reunion concert in Brooklyn. Stevie, dem babies cost money. Stevie J Leaves Voicemail Begging Baby Mama Now that him and Joseline are married, maybe he can borrow some gwap from her. Stevie this is not a good look. According to Radar Online: Love & Hip Hop star Stevie J. owes a lot of money to his ex-girlfriend for unpaid child support, and determined to get it she held a press conference on Thursday — but not before the VH1 reality TV star left a voicemail for her begging to keep her mouth shut, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. Stevie J. (real name Steven Jordan) owes a grand total of $1,158,391 to Carol Bennett for the two children they have together and over a course of 14 years, has only paid $132,220.30. Bennett’s rep, Sibrena Stowe de Fernandez, exclusively tells Radar a voicemail was left by Stevie J. to his baby mama stating: ”What’s going on, uh I see all this press it’s going crazy and then I see something ’bout a press conference on October 31. I would ask you not to do a press conference…so let’s try to figure out what we doing, what’s goin’ on aight?” But Bennett did the press conference in New York City anyway. “My goal is not to incarcerate Stevie J.,” she said during the conference. “My intent is to find a resolution and to co-parent with Stevie J. and that means emotionally and financially so that our children can receive the support that they deserve.” As Radar previously reported, an arrest warrant was issued for Stevie J. in 2010 with the New York City Police Department because of the owed money, but was later discharged without payment. Bennett has now enlisted the help of Project Child Support, an organization spearheaded by Kai D. Patterson, who is the CEO of Bounty Alert and Founder of the Custodial Support Foundation to uncover and collect Stevie’s assets, including any and all companies that may be used as a financial shelter.
