Rihanna and Chris Brown are both seemingly trying to start some controversy. Days after Brown’s recent scandal involving a fan’s claims that he stole her iPhone, there are reports that Rihanna has let Chris know that she has his back through the drama. Is she talking about him in her tweets? If Chris is formally charged (which was rumored to have been happening yesterday), he could be in violation of his probation. Rihanna tweeted some lyrics over the weekend that many think were references to Brown … intended for him to see. “And I know, and I know, and I know….everything u like, everything I love ,” she tweeted. And later added, “He wants that old thing back! Uh uh uh, he want those heroin tracks! He likes me, he fiends for me nightly.”
Chris Brown’s girlfriend Karrueche Tran may be letting the rumors regarding he and Rihanna’s everlasting love get to her head. In a clip filmed back in October, she and two friends act silly, seemingly mocking Riri in what can only be described as a bad Bajan accent. Recently, several stories have hit the net that have lead fans to believe that the former couple should (or at least want to) get back together: Rihanna & Chris Brown Subtweeting? I love them, they love me. I have boyfriend, he don’t love me. He don’t call her. No nothing. Nobody love us. Single. Single ladies. No ring. C’monnn. We’re sexy girls, but nobody love us.” When her friend asks what song to play next, Karrueche says “Rihanna” and then continues her charade, referencing her hit song: “I wish I was the only girl. Only girl in the world. But my boyfriend don’t love me. Why don’t he love me? Nobody love us? We’re sexy girls, but we’re ugly girls. We look like model. Why you no have boyfriend?” When Rihanna’s “Hard” begins to play in the background, Karrueche mocks the intro: “Yeah, yeah, yeah!” Do you think this was in bad taste?
Neither. Adele did! The results are finally in and 2011′s World Wide Year-End chart is available for all to see. The figures are based on the album sales made within the year – even if the album, itself, wasn’t released then. Holding the #1 spot is Adele , whose 21 album sold 15.3 million copies. (She also holds the #7 spot with her 19 album – despite it being released three years ago – with 2.8 million copies.) Lady Gaga technically nabbed the #2 spot, but she is still very far behind Adele in sales; her Born This Way album sold 5.4 million copies. Rihanna sits pretty at the #5 spot with her LOUD album selling 3.4 million copies. Beyonce , however, just made the cut.
