Mackenzie Standifer: SLAMMED For Partying While Ryan Edwards Is In Jail!

It's been one month since Ryan Edwards was arrested for heroin possession and skipping out on a bar tab. The former Teen Mom OG star remains behind bars, and his future isn't looking particularly bright. In fact, it seems unlikely that Ryan will emerge from this situation without serving some sort of sentence for violating his probation in such an egregious fashion. Despite her husband's repeated relapses and brushes with the law, however, Mackenzie Standifer is standing by her man. But according to a new report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup , she's not letting him off the hook , and she knows exactly what kind of changes will need to be made whenever Ryan gets released. Take a look: 1. One Long Rough Patch It would be a massive understatement to say that Ryan and Mackenzie’s relationship has seen its share of difficulties. 2. Hard Times Ryan has been arrested three times in the past 18 months, and it looks as though his latest brush with the law will carry some serious consequences. 3. Doin’ Time Ryan is currently behind bars, and he’ll remain locked up at least until his April 15 court date. 4. Denied Bond “The case has been continued to April 15, 2019,” a Clerk of Court for Red Bank in Tennessee told Radar Online. “He’s going to serve time in county jail until then.” 5. Another Long Absence His time behind bars comes on the heels of a 90-day stint in rehab that ended in late November. 6. Making It Through Mackenzie has described Ryan’s time in rehab as “the longest 90 days” of her life. View Slideshow

Darla Shine: Trump Aide’s Wife Claims Measles Cures Cancer in Incredibly Bizarre Rant

It’s always upsetting to hear that someone is foolish enough to not vaccinate their children . But the wife of a White House aide is taking things further than decrying vaccines. In a pair of tweets that went viral in the worst way, she claims that having the measles  keeps you healthy and fights cancer . Bill Shine is an aide to Donald Trump. His wife is Darla Shine. It turns out that, just as Trump struggles to understand climate science, Darla is unable to grasp medical science. “Here we go LOL #measlesoutbreak on #CNN,” Darla tweeted. She then tagged her tweet: “#Fake #Hysteria.” “The entire Baby Boom population alive today had the #Measles as kids,” she claims. This, as we will address later, is known as  survivor bias . Darla does more than merely express doubt at the necessity of vaccinations. She actually welcomes the return of easily preventable diseases. “Bring back our #ChildhoodDisease,” she writes eagerly. With regard to those once-defeated ailments, Darla claims: “they keep you healthy & fight cancer.” That is, just to clarify, completely untrue. In fact, there was a recent case in which a small child beat leukemia only to die from exposure to measles. “I had the  # Measles   # Mumps   # ChickenPox  as a child and so did every kid I knew,” Darla writes. Sure. These preventable diseases were once acceptad as an unpleasant and sometimes fatal fact of life. “Sadly my kids had  # MMR,” she writes. ” So they will never have the life long natural immunity I have.” She concludes her contrarian nonsense, writing: “come breathe on me.” Darla is unfortunately not the only famous person proud of her ignorance on medical science. As we continue, we will include photos of some other famous people who should really, really know better. (Jenny McCarthy is possibly the celebrity most synonymous with anti-vaccine ideology, though she does not quite embrace that title) While we don’t object to Darla Shine’s invitation for people to expose her to airborne illnesses, her tweets are nothing short of absurd. First of all, as we mentioned, “everyone who’s alive survived it” is called  survivor bias . Similarly, everyone who has been shot and lived survived a gunshot. That doesn’t mean that gunshots are safe, or not deadly. Measels can also cause lifelong problems even for those who survive. Also, just as vaccines do not cause autism, measels do not bestow some special protection against cancer. But, you heard the lady. By all means, go breathe on her. (Kailyn Lowry of  Teen Mom 2  fame recently revealed that she no longer vaccinates her children, which is disappointing fo fans who thought she was a good mom) “My friend’s daughter is deaf because of LOL measles,” responded one tweeter, mocking Shine’s tone. “LOL childhood diseases contracted during pregnancy cause serious birth defects,” the tweet continues. That same tweeter then wondered: “Does this LOL at preventable misery reflect the WH press office position.” We should note that there are unfortunately anti-vaxx people on both sides of the political aisle. (Kylie Jenner has shared a number of bizarre conspiracy images, including chemtrails and anti-vaxx hoopla. We hope that this does not impact Stormi) Fortunately, the CDC’s literal entire job is controlling disease, so they are not ambiguous about the importance of vaccines. “Children should get two doses of MMR vaccine,” the CDC states. “Starting with the first dose at 12 to 15 months of age.” “And,” the recommendations continue. “The second dose at 4 through 6 years of age.” “In the decade before 1963 when a vaccine became available, nearly all children got measles by the time they were 15 years of age,” the CDC notes. “Also each year, among reported cases, an estimated 400 to 500 people died,” the CDC reminds the public. (Jim Carrey has unfortunately expressed some troubling views that lead people to believe that he is opposed to vaccinations) The World Health Organization has noted a 30% uptick in measles cases worldwide, though vaccine hesitancy is only one of the factors. Some of those opposed to vaccines believe that they may cause autism. This is false, but it is deeply troubling to hear people imply that they would rather see their child dead than autistic. Some people, such as those who are immuno-compromised, cannot be vaccinated. They rely upon herd immunity to avoid potentially fatal ailments. Sadly, anti-vaxx parents do not seem to care. Artie Lange: Finally Out of Jail, Headed Straight to Rehab

The sad saga of Artie Lange finally saw some good news today. After spending the past two weeks in jail, the troubled comic was released today. Unfortunately, Lange still has a great number of legal hurdles ahead of him. Worse, he continues to grapple with a number of substance abuse issues that loved ones fear may claim his life. Lange was arrested last month after failing a court-ordered drug test. He had been released from a mandatory treatment program just weeks earlier. Lange had previously been sentenced to rehab following an arrest for cocaine and heroin possession in 2017. Following rehab, fans were encouraged by Lange’s abrupt return to comedy, as well as by a series of tweets in which the 51-year-old spoke with optimism about his sobriety and his future. “Guys I will tweet about this once. Today in court they drug tested me,” a hopeful Lange wrote on December 14. “For the last decade or more they’d have found both Heroin and Cocaine.  With the help of in my eyes a miracle legal medication called Suboxen I tested negative for Heroin. I haven’t used Heroin in 41 days…” Shortly thereafter, however, an anonymous friend of the comedian’s revealed to Radar Online that Lange had fallen off the wagon and feared it was only a matter of time before he was found out. “He knows he won’t survive drug court, so he’s going to party as much as much as he can until he gets thrown in jail or a year-long rehab,” said the insider. “Even his sponsors from The Retreat [Lange’s most recent rehab center] know that he’s partying even though he’s denying it.” Lange denied those claims but seemed to contradict his own statement by stating that he knew where “the leak” was coming from and revealing that he felt his confidence had been betrayed. Immediately after his release from jail today, Lange was sent to an undisclosed rehab center for treatment. He still faces jail time for violating his probation, but his next court date has yet to be determined. “A hearing will not be set until Mr. Lange is close to completing the drug treatment program,” a court official told Radar Thursday afternoon. We wish Artie all the best in his continued recovery. View Slideshow: 31 Celebrities Who Have Been to Rehab

Artie Lange: Back In Jail, Reportedly Near Death

The tragic saga of Artie Lange took another sad turn today when the troubled comic was arrested after violating his probation by failing a court-ordered drug test. According to TMZ, Lange tested positive for cocaine and morphine and was taken into custody following a court appearance in Essex County, New Jersey on Wednesday afternoon. Lange’s long battle with substance abuse has been well documented, and sadly, his brushes with the law have become more frequent in recent years. In 2017, Lange pled guilty to heroin possession , and it seems he’s been caught in a downward spiral ever since. In December of 2018, Lange’s fans and loved ones experienced a glimmer of hope when the 50-year-old announced that he had completed in-patient rehab and entered a long-term outpatient treatment program. The comic even vowed to use his talents to help others by doing one show a month for which all proceeds would go to toward helping a fellow addict attend rehab. “Guys I will tweet about this once. Today in court they drug tested me,” a hopeful Lange tweeted on December 14. “For the last decade or more they’d have found both Heroin and Cocaine.  With the help of in my eyes a miracle legal medication called Suboxen I tested negative for Heroin. I haven’t used Heroin in 41 days…” Unfortunately, that optimism proved to be short-lived. Lange’s reps confirmed last night that the comic has been forced to cancel his upcoming shows following a bad day in court. “Excuse any show advertisements.. starting today, Artie will be undergoing a long term treatment program, he loves and respects his fans,” read a tweet from Lange’s account. “Updates coming soon.. and it’s time – TeamLange” Today, the account tweeted that Lange is being held without bail, but adds that that’s not necessarily a bad thing: “The comments made by Arties lawyer have been taken out of context.. Artie was not arrested and sent to jail,” the tweet read. “They are holding him a few days to sober up before transferring him to a long term treatment facility, Artie needs us to be with him, not against him- TeamLange” As many have pointed out, the claim that Lange has not been sent to jail is somewhat meaningless, as he’s sure to be sent to a holding center once he’s fully detoxed. Back in June of 2018, Lange predicted that drug court and four years of probation may prove to be too much for him: “The judge was very fair! But 4 yrs probation is a long time. I am gonna try my best,” Lange tweeted. “If I end up in jail for yrs  let my life be a lesson to you kids battling Heroin. I had everything! And more. I traded it for powder. Don’t make that mistake. Ur better than that.  & I love u!!” We join millions of fans in wishing Artie all the best in his recovery.

Prison Baes: Suge Knight’s Fiancée Sentenced 3 Years For Shady Probation Violation

Image via Robyn Beck-Pool/Getty Suge Knight’s Fiancée Sentenced 3 Years In Prison The couple who is incarcerated together…paroles together? Suge Knight is sitting in prison awaiting the start of his murder trial in April. His fianceé, Toi-Lin Kelly, is set to join her husband-to-be in inmate status. Last year, Kelly was accused of selling surveillance footage that was connected to Suge’s trial to TMZ for $55,000. She plead no contest to the charge and was sentenced to 5 years probation among other things. Friday, a judge found Kelly guilty of indirectly communicating with Suge in order to set up and interview for BET’s new Death Row documentary. Part of her probation was that she was to refrain from any communication with the former music mogul. According to NYDailyNews , Judge Douglas Sortino sentenced the ride-or-die chick to death. Well, not literally, but he did give her 3 years in prison for her “blatant” and “jaw-dropping” violation. To make matters worse, Toi-Lin and Suge have an 8-year-old son together who will now be without BOTH parents. If you ride, at some point you will “die”. Continue reading
