Artie Lange: Finally Out of Jail, Headed Straight to Rehab

The sad saga of Artie Lange finally saw some good news today. After spending the past two weeks in jail, the troubled comic was released today. Unfortunately, Lange still has a great number of legal hurdles ahead of him. Worse, he continues to grapple with a number of substance abuse issues that loved ones fear may claim his life. Lange was arrested last month after failing a court-ordered drug test. He had been released from a mandatory treatment program just weeks earlier. Lange had previously been sentenced to rehab following an arrest for cocaine and heroin possession in 2017. Following rehab, fans were encouraged by Lange’s abrupt return to comedy, as well as by a series of tweets in which the 51-year-old spoke with optimism about his sobriety and his future. “Guys I will tweet about this once. Today in court they drug tested me,” a hopeful Lange wrote on December 14. “For the last decade or more they’d have found both Heroin and Cocaine.  With the help of in my eyes a miracle legal medication called Suboxen I tested negative for Heroin. I haven’t used Heroin in 41 days…” Shortly thereafter, however, an anonymous friend of the comedian’s revealed to Radar Online that Lange had fallen off the wagon and feared it was only a matter of time before he was found out. “He knows he won’t survive drug court, so he’s going to party as much as much as he can until he gets thrown in jail or a year-long rehab,” said the insider. “Even his sponsors from The Retreat [Lange’s most recent rehab center] know that he’s partying even though he’s denying it.” Lange denied those claims but seemed to contradict his own statement by stating that he knew where “the leak” was coming from and revealing that he felt his confidence had been betrayed. Immediately after his release from jail today, Lange was sent to an undisclosed rehab center for treatment. He still faces jail time for violating his probation, but his next court date has yet to be determined. “A hearing will not be set until Mr. Lange is close to completing the drug treatment program,” a court official told Radar Thursday afternoon. We wish Artie all the best in his continued recovery. View Slideshow: 31 Celebrities Who Have Been to Rehab

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey Season 9 Reunion Sneak Peek Is Here!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season nine reunion trailer is here – and we are so ready for the action!  The secrets, finger-pointing, tears, and vicious attacks are all in the first look at what’s to come.  In the trailer, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Alydin and Jacki Goldschneider all go at it, holding nothing back while evaluating last season’s drama. “You f-king coldhearted bitch,” Teresa screams at (probably) sister-in-law Melissa. But the main conflict appears to be among Teresa, Jackie, Margaret, and Jennifer, according to E! .  RHONJ Season 9 Reunion Trailer More extreme yet totally impressive attacks get made throughout the sneak peek.  “I lose brain cells talking to you,” Jackie tells Teresa.  It’s ok if you laughed out loud, that is priceless.   And at one point, Teresa calls Jackie a “white trash bitch,” and Jackie fights back with, “You’re not going to win a war of words with me.” “Really, bitch? You want to make a bet?” Teresa says.  Jackie agrees to the bet. But come on, ours is totally on Teresa. She craves blood.  Teresa then makes a move that looks as though things are about to get physical. And by the look of everyone’s faces, it probably does. Things start getting emotional as host Andy Cohen begins asking the hard questions about her future with husband Joe Giudice, and his possible deportation.   “What you’re saying is that you will go your separate ways,” Cohen asks Teresa… who begins to break down in front of the camera.  E! has learned that Teresa did, in fact, admit that she and Joe would go their separate ways  should he be deported to Italy.  But during a previous reunion, Teresa did say she would consider moving overseas. “I mean, Italy is a beautiful place to live.” And I’m sure a lot of the RHONJ castmates wouldn’t mind that. Just make sure to get a visa, girl!  Things take a comic turn, probably for the better, as the husbands are invited to join the conversation.  And at one weird point, Joe Gorga even asks his sister if she is using a vibrator?! Part one of the reunion airs on Wednesday, February 20 and features Margaret and Jennifer’s argument over words.  Then, Jackie gets a turn in the hot seat while Teresa has some fun questioning her intentions and telling her she will never forgive her for what she said about her husband earlier in the season. Which caused her to completely lose her mind and flip a table. Good stuff.  Part two follows on Wednesday, February 27 and the fighting obviously continues. Teresa ultimately opens up about Joe’s likely deportation . Leading to the final third part which airs Wednesday, March 6 where Joe, Danielle and Margaret rehash their overplayed feud.  We are now prepared and so ready to watch all the mayhem unfold. The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9 Episode 2 Recap: Teresa Giudice Reignites Her Feud With Joe & Melissa Gorga

Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reignited the feud between Teresa Giudice and her brother, Joe Gorga, and it looks like we’re in for a season of backstabs between the brother and sister.  If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online , you know the season premiere found Teresa opening up about Joe steering clear of their father in recent months, signaling that things were going south for the family.  “My brother used to be around more when my mom first passed away, and I’m really nervous to say anything to him because when I brought this up in the past, it got ugly,” Teresa explained of the situation in a confessional. “My brother and I have been doing really well for a while now, and I definitely don’t want history to repeat itself. Life is short. I just don’t want my brother to have any regrets.” In true Teresa fashion, she brought it up during a family gathering. Thankfully, she did not throw some tables. She’s learned from her mistakes.  Things started to get heated during the dinner party, with Joe’s father Giacinto yelling about his son not calling him, going as far as saying “F–k you” to him.  “Are you going to be around more for this one? He wants you around more,” she said. “The kid that’s not around the most, that’s the kid you always want.” Melissa who has feuded with Teresa in the past because of her association with her brother took to a confessional to complain about the whole thing.  “Who brings up a super sensitive, going-to-cause-a-problem conversation on Easter Sunday? Especially in front of my father-in-law, who is super upset as it is,” she asked. “This is definitely not the day, the time, the place. Like, your timing sucks.” “Not on Easter,” Melissa added. “This conversation gets my skin crawling because I get instant flashbacks of the pain that Joe went through years ago over conversations that were similar.” “I know my husband. When you push him, and you constantly say the same thing to him over and over again, I know he’s going to explode. Joe is a ticking time bomb. It’s going to happen.” Joe made it clear that he was getting sick of the way Teresa was acting.  “You gotta cut that out,” he snapped at Teresa. “You always bring that up in front of Daddy. ‘Oh you work too much, you’re not around.’ Listen to me, if I was sitting in a bar all day, if I was sitting in restaurants, that’s a different story. But what am I going to do? When you put in 15 hours a day, hard work? I’m exhausted.” “You know my life. You know the business, it’s crazy. I work hardcore, all day, every day, nonstop. Unbelievable stresses,” Joe added. “My business takes all my freakin time. Is he going to pay my bills? No one pays my bills. What am I going to do, just give it all up?” That was not all Teresa had to say, however.  “I’m just saying, he bitches to me all the time,” she complained. “I got to hear him! ‘Your brother don’t call me. It’s been five days.’“ “Since I’ve lost my mom, holidays are more emotional. I’m just trying to make the holiday as best as I can for my dad. I just want to make him happy. He needs that,” Teresa said, addressing the cameras. “Before I went away, I spent a lot of time with my mom. And right now all I can think about is how when I came home, I wished I spent more time with my mom. So it’s frustrating that my brother makes the effort to see my dad just on a holiday.” Teresa’s daughter, Gia, turned to her uncle Joe with her take on what was going on.  “It’s not fair,” said the teenager. “We get it so much from Nonno, you don’t even know. I know you have work, trust me, I know. But if you don’t call him for a day, he says something. … At least just try, in a week, just one designated day for Nonno.” But there was no getting through to Joe who maintained that he was a busy man.  “I don’t give a s—,” yelled Teresa. “You have to make time. In life, that’s how it is. Capeesh?” While the fighting simmered down and everyone enjoyed the rest of the day, Joe confirmed in a confessional that he was mad at his sister.  “Teresa was always like this when we were kids,” Joe admitted. “When it came to me, she would rat me out. Why are you still doing this? It’s going to cause a big problem again, which we don’t need.” As if that wasn’t enough drama, Margaret informed Danielle that she was going to an event hosted by Dolores and things got a little bit crazy.  “She invited me to this thing–,” said Margaret BUT Danielle butted in.  “And you coulda said, ‘No, I’m not coming because that will make Danielle very upset and very hurt. It’ll hurt her!’ Because you coulda said, ‘This would hurt me if the tables were turned.’ You coulda said anything but, ‘Yes, I’ll come.'” As Margaret tried to calm Danielle down, the former main cast member decided to storm off, but she came back with a parting shot: “What is it that you two really have in common? You cheated on your husband, and she got cheated on?” That has got to be one of the best one-liners in the history of the series, and just like that, it looks like another friendship is over.  What are your thoughts on all the drama? The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 Episode 14 Recap: Margaret Josephs vs. Siggy Flicker

When you have a group as divided as the one on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it’s difficult to imagine what will happen at the reunion.  On The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 Episode 14 , Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs and Danielle Staub assembled to break down their thoughts on the tumultuous season of drama.  As always, it all seemed friendly when the episode kicked off, and Margaret was quick to reveal that Joe’s kids watch the show, but they still do not want anything to do with her.  You could tell that was difficult for her, but the whole situation for her seemed bizarre because, well, she left the father of the children and expected them to continue as though everything was normal.  “The only genuine thing you’ve said to me this season is that you are trying to destroy me,” Margaret said to Siggy with a wealthy dose of side-eye, but Siggy continued to act like Margaret was out to her.  Margaret did admit that both of them were as bad as each other, but Siggy continued to act like she was the main attraction of the cast and that Margaret was nothing more than a vile peasant.  Margaret defended her stance about Soggy gate. She said it was about Siggy’s behavior and not to trash her medical condition. Andy chimed in, saying that Siggy was selling merchandise the “Soggy” at her retreat.  Siggy countered that she turns negatives into positives. We think the more probable cause is she turns anything into a profit. Margaret closed off her trash talk of Siggy by saying that her blaming her erratic behavior on menopause was “victimizing.” In the most random topic change ever, Siggy yelled at Margaret that her husband shot a bear like “Elmer Fudd.” The conversation switched to whether there would be changes for Teresa and Joe when they get to get back together.  “I guess when he comes home, he has a lot of making up to do. I was hurt, and a lot of anger came out,” she said.  However, Andy questioned whether Teresa would move to Italy with Joe if he was deported and she said the following: “Whatever God has planned for me, that’s what will happen,” she declared. Yeah, there was something off about it. Maybe the rumors about Teresa having a new man are correct.  Andy then quizzed the ladies about the great big cake fight that kicked off the season. Melissa was mad that Siggy ridiculed her multiple times about it, and felt like she needed to dial it back.  “It was humiliating. I was embarrassed,” Melissa said while glaring at Siggy.  Tensions took a turn for the worse when Kim D was introduced to the stage.  “I guess they let the animal out of the cage,” Teresa snapped before adding, ” “I thought this was The Real Housewives of New Jersey, not Tales from the Crypt.” Andy told Teresa not to move off the couch. Teresa wanted to slap Kim D around the stage. Let’s face it, Kim has been vile to everyone.  What did you think of the drama? Taylor Swift Offers Important Advice to Sexual Assault Victims

On the entertainment front, Taylor Swift had a relatively quiet year. She released a new album and announced a new tour toward the end of 2017, but she remained almost entirely silent for a solid three-quarters of the past 12 months. In front of the camera or on social media, that is. Outside of the music industry, Swift was actually involved in a lawsuit that perhaps helped set the tone for the #MeToo movement. Following allegations that a DJ groped her during a 2013 photo opportunity, Swift testified under oath as part of her harassment lawsuit against David Mueller. She had alleged that Mueller reached under her skirt and grabbed her butt during a meet-and-greet four years ago, an accusation that actually prompted Mueller to sue Swift for defamation. But Taylor refused to back down. First, her testimony and other pieces of evidence caused a judge to dismiss Mueller’s lawsuit . Then, the singer won her countersuit against Mueller , earning raucous praise for how she handled herself on the witness stand amidst a barrage of victim-shaming attempts by Mueller’s lawyer. (“I am not going to allow your client to make me feel like it is any way my fault because it isn’t,” she said at one point to the attorney.) Due to how strongly she stood up for herself and, by extension, other victims of harassment, Swift was included this week on Time’s Person of the Year cover: The issue honors the “Silence Breakers” who have helped exposed an unseemly number of sexual harassers and predators around the country. Asked by the publication why she was so aggressive in her fight against Mueller, Swift replied as follows: “I figured that if he would be brazen enough to assault me under these risky circumstances and high stakes, imagine what he might do to a vulnerable, young artist if given the chance. “It was important to report the incident to his radio station because I felt like they needed to know. “The radio station conducted its own investigation and fired him. Two years later, he sued me.” Swift added that she spoke to Kesha at one point to find out more of what she went through after suing producer Dr. Luke for sexual misconduct. View Slideshow: Time Person of the Year: Who are the “Silence Breakers?” To her fans and anyone else dealing with abuse or harassment, Swift has this to say; My advice is that you not blame yourself and do not accept the blame others will try to place on you. You should not be blamed for waiting 15 minutes or 15 days or 15 years to report sexual assault or harassment, or for the outcome of what happens to a person after he or she makes the choice to sexually harass or assault you. The superstar also praised all the “brave women” speaking out in public about their experiences for helping “move the needle in terms of letting people know that this abuse of power shouldn’t be tolerated.” The #MeToo movement got underway in earnest after Harvey Weinstein was exposed as a serial sexual predator. After Alyssa Milano sent a Tweet that asked women (and men) to use the hashtag #MeToo if they had been the victim of any sort of unwanted sexual act or comment, an endless array of social media users followed suit. As a result, celebrities such as Kevin Spacey, Louis CK, Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer have lost their jobs (and their statuses) in the wake of troubling allegations. We can likely expect more and more famous men to be outed as generally awful people in this regard in the coming weeks and months. It’s depressing and disturbing to learn of these incidents. But it’s clearly about time these perpetrators were held accountable for their despicable actions. View Slideshow: #MeToo: Stars Share Stories of Sexual Harassment, Assault

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 Episode 9 Recap: When Chairs Fly

Kim D. has got to be the woman the producers of The Real Housewives of New Jersey call in when they need to inject some drama back into the show.  It’s almost like they thought, “Darn, Danielle is not bringing the drama we thought she would. Could we get Kim D. back to stir the pot and fracture the friendships of the core women?” Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 Episode 9 Online It’s not a bad thing, but if The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 Episode 9 proved anything, it was that Kim should not come back again because her claims do not hold much water.  What Posche  Really Stands For Siggy and Dolores showed up to prepare for the fashion show, Kim wanted to know how her claims about Teresa being a cheat went down with everyone.  “Everyone hates you so much,” Siggy said proving again that she is not one to try and sugar coat things.  Kim then said that she heard Teresa was done with Jone, so she could do what she wanted. That’s when Siggy and Dolores defended her.  “Welcome to the Posche fundraiser. Toodloo!” Kim said to the women as she gave them a breather.  Teresa claimed to Melissa that she would keep her composure and not fight with her hands because she needed to keep it together or she ran the risk of being hauled back to jail.  Not one to show any fear, Kim said that she would fight Teresa, Margaret, Dolores, and Melissa. Yes, really.  “I’ll take you all, come on,” the villain said, but it was not clear whether she was smiling, or pooping her pants. We can thank the botox for that.  “Nobody is gonna talk about my husband or me,” Teresa says. “You talked about my husband two years ago. Did you see him fuck another girl?”   That’s when Kim said Teresa has been spotted out at clubs and getting close to other men.  “Piece Of Shit, Coke Whore, Home Wrecker Every Day!,” Teresa said of what Posche stands for. Her attempt to string a sentence together failed because it did not make sense.  Kim then went for the jugular and said that if Teresa got rowdy, she would have her locked up.  Melissa tried to defend Teresa and asked Siggy and Dolores whether they were disgusted yet by what they were seeing. Dolores started yelling and getting up in her grill.  Teresa left and referred to Siggy and Dolores as Kim’s puppets.   Siggy and Dolores See the Light The next day, Siggy and Dolores went to dinner with Frank, and he was straight to the point about understanding where Teresa was coming from.  The two women agreed that maybe they should have left the event, and Siggy went to visit Teresa to let her know she was sorry.  Teresa accepted, and they were friends again, but Melissa was still unsure about the pair making their way to Milan.  Melissa closed her segment essentially saying that Dolores had better watch her back. Is anyone else her just for Melissa and Danielle teaming up to take down Dolores? Like Mother, Like Daughter The other big plot strand was Marge Sr. going on a date with Margaret’s accountant. Margaret and her husband went along for the ride to chaperone the date, but it became clear there was something sketchy going on.  Margaret made ill-timed comments about her mother still being capable of “swallowing.” Yes, that is what Steve will be dealing with if he becomes a permanent fixture to the family.  The Other Side In a more serious scene, Melissa, Teresa, and Joe spoke to a medium about Nona’s passing, and the medium said that she was happily on the other side and is out of her pain.  It was unsettling because all three of them were bawling their eyes out. The only thing that irked me was that the woman could have gotten her information from watching every episode of the show before meeting them.  Sigh.  What did you think of this episode? The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 Episode 6 Recap: Growing Up Jersey

Bravo’s successful Real Housewives franchise has always aimed to bring high drama to viewers, but the drama is all based on whether the cast members want to bring it.  Unfortunately, the current housewives on The Real Housewives of New Jersey are not working. On The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 Episode 6 , Teresa thought she was getting a break from the drama.  Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 Episode 6 Online However, her vacation was ruined by her daughters continuing to whine at her every single time she spoke to them. It was painful to watch, but it certainly made me think those kids are sick of having cameras around them. They have been on the show for the entire series, and the recent bad press about their parents has to have had some sort of effect on them.  The producers are trying to implement this whole storyline about Teresa letting the children get away with everything, but it seems more like that’s just been thrown in to explain their very blatant hatred of the cameras.  It must be difficult for Teresa because she was gone from their lives for a considerable amount of time, but the kids either need to be left out of the show or be told they need to participate if they are in front of the camera.  Teresa’s storyline this week consisted of her trying to get through to her children while trying to have a little fun herself and you could tell she was miserable.  What didn’t help was everyone at the resort in Puerto Rico staring into the camera. Maybe Teresa’s storyline has just run its course, and it’s time to follow some new people.  Back in New Jersey, Siggy went to get pellets to get her hormone levels back on track because she admitted she had something wrong with her.  Hey, it’s the first step to recovery, so everyone should be giving her the thumbs up. Her mood has been all over the place, and it’s a little bit unethical to have her in front of the reality tv cameras in that manner.  Margaret decided it was time to nip all the feuding in the bud and called Dolores to meet her for lunch. It started off very awkward, and it was clear Dolores wanted to stick up for Siggy.  That’s what friends do, and Dolores is coming across as the most loyal woman on this show nowadays. Margaret is a real hoot. She has eyelashes on her mini cooper, so she must be a great person.  For some reason, Margaret opened up about raising her ex-husband’s children for several years before they fell out with her for leaving their father.  It seemed forced, but Dolores reacted to the waterworks. The two women found some common ground, and it helped Dolores understand what Margaret was about.  Dolores took the news to Siggy during a double date with Frank and Michael. Initially, Siggy was against being friends with Margaret, but Dolores continued to push the fact that she thought the woman was misunderstood.  Siggy finally decided to give Margaret another chance, but it’s difficult to expect the two women to do anything other than fight until the bitter end.  This was hands down the worst episode of the series. There were no big talking points. It was all filler to show off Teresa on her all expenses paid family vacation to Puerto Rico.  View Slideshow: 17 Stars Who Really Love the Real Housewives Danielle was not even part of the episode. Her voice was in it thanks to a phone call with Teresa, but isn’t this woman supposed to be, like, causing all the drama to keep us tuning in? Sigh. What did you think of this episode? The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Episode 1 Recap: Welcome Home, Tre!

After a two-year hiatus from Bravo and a year in prison for Teresa Giudice, you can  watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online  once more. They’re back, bitches!!!! Teresa Giudice Comes Home: See Her Family Reunion! Kicking off  The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Episode 1 ? Obviously, a lot of talk about Teresa returning from the slammer. What’s interesting – and far from unique on popular reality shows – is that the episode built up to to a reunion we already know happened. And which played out extensively in the media – often thanks to the star herself, who cashed in on every People exclusive she could. More power to her, but still … a bit of the luster was gone when it felt like we’d seen or heard nearly all of this before, many times over. Basically, though the behind-the-scenes look did offer real emotion (the girls truly do love Tre), it was anticlimactic at the same time. The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Episode 1 did set up right out of the gate that Jacqueline Laurita is stepping up her game. One just gets that feeling when Jacqueline proceeds to make Teresa’s release from Danbury Correctional Facility all about Jacqueline. She told husband Chris she doesn’t really miss Teresa, rhetorically asking, “Why am I fighting for this friendship that she doesn’t really like?” Money? Obviously? What else could it … Anyway, as for the two new housewives, Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker, we can’t quite get a read on them or what their roles will be. Yet. Melissa Gorga, meanwhile, wants to open a new boutique, and seems bent on venturing out on her own, without help from hubby Joe. “It is going to be difficult for me to figure out how to be a modern woman,” she said, “and go in the work field and keep those traditional values.” “Because they don’t really go together.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Trailer Deep feminist thoughts aside, Melissa and Joe – like everyone else – can’t stop thinking and talking about Teresa coming home at last. Finally, the big moment arrives in N.J. While Gia picks out her mother’s clothes, James Leonard tells Joe that Teresa will be under house arrest until her sentence ends in two months. The paparazzi are swarming outside.  “Get out of here, you dumb stupid people!” Milania yells at them, from a considerable distance, while Teresa’s return home is … subdued? “Hi honey. Welcome home,” Joe says, seemingly not in a hurry to get up from sitting down as she walks in, and responds as they embrace: “I missed my house, and I missed you.” In no particular order. “I won’t be naive anymore I learned my lesson, and I won’t make the same mistake twice,” she tells the cameras in a profound statement. Lesson: Playing fast and loose with lending laws, committing bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud are one thing. Being naive, that’s another story. Joe Giudice, gearing up for his own prison sentence, says that after raising kids by himself for a year, he can survive anything. Lesson: Prison > Four Daughters. Teresa Giudice: Getting RIPPED Behind Bars, Working on List of Post Prison-Goals

She may not have gotten that prison kitchen job she was hoping for, but that doesn’t mean Teresa Giudice isn’t making the most of her time behind bars. Us Weekly reports that Teresa is working out like crazy in the big house…and she’s already seeing results: “She’s getting in the best shape of her life,” a source tells the tabloid. “Every night she hits the gym and she’s been asking friends to send her workout videos.” Could the her desire to get jacked have anything to do with the rumors that Teresa is being targets by other inmates ? We may never know, but by the time she gets sprung, she’ll probably be a more intimidating table-tossing force than ever before. And apparently it’s not just her body that Teresa is looking to improve: “Teresa writes down everything she wants to do when she gets out,” says the source. “She hopes to land the cover of a magazine and get her own cooking show.” Yes, we’ve heard rumors of a Teresa Giudice cooking show before.
