Roger Mathews has admitted to assaulting Jenni “JWOWW” Farley. Following a series of scathing messages back and forth between Farley and Mathews this week, the latter has written a very long and revealing letter to the Jersey Shore star on his official website. It addresses Farley's claims that Mathews has pushed and hit her . It also addresses a video Farley posted that appeared to depict Mathews shoving her to the ground. We've summarized Mathews' letter below and included many excerpts from it, while also outlining the ongoing feud between these estranged spouses, who share two young kids together. Scroll down for the latest… 1. Where Do We Even Begin Here? There’s some television news that might finally save Tori Spelling’s marriage . And it could be neat for viewers, too. A revival of Beverly Hills, 90210 is in the works. It’s surprisingly far along, and apparently plans to include a lot of the original cast. Nine months ago, Tori Spelling hinted at some sort of Beverly Hills, 90210 revival. Now, Deadline reports that this 90210 revival is in the works, with the intention of having many returning cast members from the original series. The first thing that comes to mind, for many, is that Tori Spelling would return as Donna Martin. Then we’d see Jennie Garth back as Kelly Taylor, Jason Priestley back as Brandon Walsh, Ian Ziering as Steve Sanders. We’d also see Brian Austin Green as David Silver and Gabrielle Carteris return as Andrea Zuckerman. For fans of the original series, this is exciting. For those who are too young to have seen it, it could be a chance to learn what all of the fuss was about. This new series is being referred to as a reboot for unknown reasons. Reboots start from scratch and do not share continuity with previous versions. Revivals, however, are continuations within the previously established continuity. As the term “reboot” became engrained in the public consciousness over the past decade or so, many people began to misuse the term. Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini both worked on The CW’s 90210 series. That show, which ran from 2008 to 2013, was actually the fourth series in the 90210 franchise. The pair are reportedly writing and executive producing this revival series with Ghen Maynard of CBS TV Studios. The show is said to be in the process of being shopped around to multiple networks and at least one streaming service. Multiple platforms are interested in making this happen. It has been suggested that this revival could feature familiar faces from elsewhere in the 90210 franchise. For example, actors from The CW’s take on the show. Could we see AnnaLynne McCord, Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, and Matt Lanter again? (Matt Lanter is again lending his voice to the much-anticipated revival of Star Wars: The Clone Wars announced in July of 2018, but we’re sure he would have time for both) As you may recall, McCord hated how the series ended with such gusto that she filmed her own alternative ending . With that kind of passion, we’d love to see what kind of thoughts she might have on this revival. While many of the names of the OG cast are familiar, one name stands out. Tori Spelling has made headlines time and time again for her difficult life, much of which has to do with her financial struggles. Though her incredibly wealthy mother continues to ensure that Tori’s ever-growing collection of children have everything they need, Tori is another story. A new revival, particularly a successful one, could spell an end — for a while, at least — to Tori’s struggle to make ends meet. That could definitely make her marriage a little easier, too. Or, at the very least, she and Dean wouldn’t be able to blame their troubles on difficult finances anymore. For now, it’s still being shopped. Just because we know who might be involved doesn’t mean that we know what form the show will take. Cast size is determined by budget and scope, not by what people are interested in seeing. Odds are that, if they take this project to streaming — perhaps on CBS All Access, maybe somewhere else — they’ll be able to afford all of the guest stars they want. Also, we’ll have to see which actors can clear their, um, busy schedules. View Slideshow: Beverly Hills, 90210 Cast: Where Are They Now?
How is this for irony? As previously detailed, Roger Mathews and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley got into a heated argument last week because the latter was scheduled to work during a time when Mathews thought she’d be helping care for the estranged couple’s daughter. This led to such an argument that Farley slapped Mathews with a restraining order . Fast forward a few days and Mathews now says he wants to appear on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. According to an Us Weekly insider, that is. “Roger has been contacting MTV to be on season 3,” alleges this source, adding: “He’s been calling them for the last week. He’s not asking to be paid, his only intentions are to film and give his side of what’s going on with Jenni. “He’s offering to give his side of the story and that he’ll reveal the truth between him and Jenni.” This has been Roger’s theme ever since his dispute with Farley went viral. He has released an endless array of Instagram videos in which he emphasizes that Farley is an emotional mess and that he cannot wait for the truth to be revealed. “This is my liberty and my justice. Jenni has more fans than me and more influence than me but what she does not have and has never had is the truth on her side,” he said in one of these videos, going on and on as follows: There is no “my truth” there is only THE TRUTH” and the public is about to see that in its rawest form. No narration needed. Just stay tuned. Justice will prevail in the end. I have nothing to hide. View Slideshow: Roger Mathews and Jenni Farley: WTH Happened That Night?!? According to various outlets, Mathews actually called the police before Jenni did so late last Thursday night, essentially calling his wife’s bluff. In this 911 call, Mathews tells his two young kids that their mother can’t control her emotions, while telling the operator that Farley will be making crap up about what transpired between the spouses. “She’s going to wait until I leave and call the police and make up some crazy story,” he tells the dispatcher in this call. “This is her m.o. and I’m just ensuring that she cannot do that.” A short time later, Mathews left the home… Farley called the police herself… and Roger arrived back home to learn his wife had been granted a restraining order against him. Mathews was escorted out of the house and then proceeded to rant about how he’s no longer allowed to see his kids. But we know this isn’t the case because Mathews shared the following photo of himself and his young son, Greyson, on Instagram a few days after the fight. Still, though. These sources tell Us Weekly that MTV has previously asked Roger to film the series, but he’s always declined in the past. “He’s on a smear campaign for Jenni right now. He has no other avenue to get his message out,” the tabloid claims . “He’s sitting on his social media airing out his dirty laundry and is trying to tell whoever else will listen.” Jenni will get final say on whether or not Mathews appears, however. She filed for divorce back in September, but the pair were then spotted out a month later, having dinner and celebrating their three-year anniversary. We thought at the time this meant they may be getting back together. But we highly doubt that will happen now. Long before Jinger Duggar began wearing pants in direct violation of her family’s bonkers dress code, there was another female threat to Jim Bob’s patriarchal reign. Amy Duggar has been the family’s resident rebel for years, and we assume the only reason she hasn’t been shipped off to a mysterious facility for reprogramming is because she’s JB’s cousin and not his daughter. Amy married Dillon King back in 2015, and since then, the couple has rebelled against Duggar orthodoxy in two big ways: For one thing, they have yet to procreate. (Duggar women typically get pregnant on their honeymoons.) On top of that, Dillon and Amy aren’t shy when it comes to talking about their sex life. There have been reports that Amy has held off on having children because she isn’t sure she wants to stay with Dillon. Others have claimed that the couple has been unable to conceive. But Amy says neither one of those explanations is accurate. Instead, it seems that despite the Duggar ban on birth control, she and Dillon have been getting in plenty of precautionary “practice.” “Oh, all the time,” Amy told People magazine when about the amount of sex she and Dillon have. “All the time. You can’t hide that. You can’t hide that.” “The kids are coming,” Dillon added. “We’ve been practicing.” And much to the likely chagrin of Jim Bob, Amy and Dillon didn’t stop talking about their bedroom shenanigans there. Dillon went on to say that he and Amy like to “keep it fresh, keep it wild” in the bedroom and are both fans of literally keeping things hot via “firelight, candle, one of those big massage bed things. The whole shebang.” “He does like candlelight,” said Amy. “I have a built-in masseuse as a husband. He’s incredible.” Last year, Amy and Dillon appeared on Marriage Bootcamp , and Splitsville seemed to be in their future. Needless to say, their relationship is on the mend these days. “I think for me, especially after the Bootcamp and all that kind of stuff, for me it’s like, two people are going to grow at different rates, right? So, you’re never going to be at the same place at the same time,” Dillon says of the experience. “So the little arguments that might come up throughout the way, you’re going to have those. That’s going to happen,” he added. “So if something does, it’s not like it’s the end of the world, we’re not compatible.” “That’s exactly right,” Amy echoed. “For me, whenever we would, we still argue of course. Whenever we argue, I would be like, I would freak out. He’d be like, ‘Babe, this is life. This is normal. I’m here, and I’m not leaving.’ And he gave reassurance.” View Slideshow: Amy Duggar Swimsuit Photos: Girl Gone (Sort of) WILD!
Morning commuters were in for a bittersweet treat this week. An armored truck managed to spill some cash, littering a New Jersey highway with money. Motorists slowed or even stopped their cars to pick up the bills, slowing traffic and causing multiple accidents. At about 8:30am on Thursday, December 14, an armored truck spilled cash on the westbound lanes of Route 3. This was in New Jersey, near Metlife Stadium, right outside of New York City. It also happened during the peak of morning rush hour. Rush hour traffic is never good, but on this fateful morning, it was considerably worse than usual. Why? Because people were leaving their cars and running out into the street to collect stray cash that was littered along the asphalt. There is absolutely video, which we have included here. Travel reportedly slowed to standstill as people stopped their cars to root around on the asphalt for cash. Those with passengers simply slowed their vehicles so that someone else could scramble for cash. According to police, there were “multiple” accidents that appeared to be a direct result of people hoping to get their hands on a little free money. Not all of those collecting cash from the highway were opportunists. Among the people was a man in a Brinks security uniform. Some openly wondered if he was making an attempt to clean up his own mess, or that of a colleague. Incidentally, this is not the first time that something like this has happened. In June of 2015, a Brinks truck took a spill after a door on the vehicle malfunctioned. This went down in Baltimore in the Harbor Tunnel. At the time, motorists and pedestrians made an eager grab for the littered cash. Others, however, were fully cooperative with authorities and even helped to return the cash. So, is it legal to just pick up spilled cash in a situation like this? In a word: No. Contrary to jokes made about items “falling off of trucks,” finders keepers is not how property rights generally work. A small amount of cash with an unknown owner might be awarded to the person who finds it, but the cash in spills like this is not ownerless. In the Baltimore case, police released a statement that people who had grabbed cash from the asphalt had two days to return it. If they failed to do so, they could face charges of theft. Assuming, of course, that they were caught. Unless it's The Purge, don't just assume that you own any money that you happen to be able to touch. Maybe bearer bonds work that way, but even then, snatching them in broad daylight would be a little brazen. Cash is just currency. The same laws and social rules that make it illegal to just grab a television and run also make it illegal to pocket random money. Between widespread surveillance technology and the omnipresence of personal cameras, usually on people's phones, you can easily be identified and caught. Resist your impulses, folks. Snatching $20 that aren't yours off of the road isn't worth being late for work.
As previously reported, things have turned very ugly between Jenni Farley and Roger Mathews. The Jersey Shore star had filed for divorce three months ago, but had then been seen on the town with Mathews a few weeks later and there had been Internet chatter about a reconciliation. Early Friday morning, however, police were called to the home JWOWW still shares with Mathews… took Roger away in a cruiser… and a judge later granted Jenni a restraining order against her estranged husband . How did things get to this point? With details still coming in, we review the situation below and update followers with a strong defense of Jenni by her best friend, Snooki, along with some VERY revealing security footage from Farley's home. Scroll down for the latest… 1. Only Mathews Has Really Commented on What Transpired So Far But, boy, did he comment! The father of two posted several videos on Instagram, lashing out at his estranged wife harder and harder each time. 2. This is What Mathews Says Went Down: JWOWW had to go away for more work and the two got into an argument late Thursday night, December 13 about how much time she spends away from her kids. Roger said he took a bit of “umbrage,” but: “Jenni became completely, uncontrollably emotional like she always does and said she was calling the police.” 3. And Then He Just BLASTED Farley Over and over and over again. For example: “This is the level my ex wife takes it to after telling my kids their dad is a piece of sh-t and she’s sorry she ever had children with him,” Mathews wrote on Instagram. “She gets so emotional and irrational in her anger this is the level she brings it too. Saddest day of my life watching her tell my daughter ‘she is sorry she had children with your daddy’. The truth will come out. The truth will set you free. I will never stop fighting for my kids.” 4. JWOWW is a Faker! Mathews went on and on, blasting his estranged wife as a total selfish phony. 5. She’s Greedy and She Sucks Mathews, and his follows, think Jenni is just about fame and fortune and nothing else. 6. Jenni is Using Our Kids as Pawns! This is what Mathews alleged throughout his multi-video rant. “I’m always there for my children,” he said. “Always. And I’m not allowed to be there for my children anymore because somebody else is so hate filled that they would do that to the father of their children, to a great father to their children. It’s sad, man. It’s just sad.” View Slideshow
Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reignited the feud between Teresa Giudice and her brother, Joe Gorga, and it looks like we’re in for a season of backstabs between the brother and sister. If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online , you know the season premiere found Teresa opening up about Joe steering clear of their father in recent months, signaling that things were going south for the family. “My brother used to be around more when my mom first passed away, and I’m really nervous to say anything to him because when I brought this up in the past, it got ugly,” Teresa explained of the situation in a confessional. “My brother and I have been doing really well for a while now, and I definitely don’t want history to repeat itself. Life is short. I just don’t want my brother to have any regrets.” In true Teresa fashion, she brought it up during a family gathering. Thankfully, she did not throw some tables. She’s learned from her mistakes. Things started to get heated during the dinner party, with Joe’s father Giacinto yelling about his son not calling him, going as far as saying “F–k you” to him. “Are you going to be around more for this one? He wants you around more,” she said. “The kid that’s not around the most, that’s the kid you always want.” Melissa who has feuded with Teresa in the past because of her association with her brother took to a confessional to complain about the whole thing. “Who brings up a super sensitive, going-to-cause-a-problem conversation on Easter Sunday? Especially in front of my father-in-law, who is super upset as it is,” she asked. “This is definitely not the day, the time, the place. Like, your timing sucks.” “Not on Easter,” Melissa added. “This conversation gets my skin crawling because I get instant flashbacks of the pain that Joe went through years ago over conversations that were similar.” “I know my husband. When you push him, and you constantly say the same thing to him over and over again, I know he’s going to explode. Joe is a ticking time bomb. It’s going to happen.” Joe made it clear that he was getting sick of the way Teresa was acting. “You gotta cut that out,” he snapped at Teresa. “You always bring that up in front of Daddy. ‘Oh you work too much, you’re not around.’ Listen to me, if I was sitting in a bar all day, if I was sitting in restaurants, that’s a different story. But what am I going to do? When you put in 15 hours a day, hard work? I’m exhausted.” “You know my life. You know the business, it’s crazy. I work hardcore, all day, every day, nonstop. Unbelievable stresses,” Joe added. “My business takes all my freakin time. Is he going to pay my bills? No one pays my bills. What am I going to do, just give it all up?” That was not all Teresa had to say, however. “I’m just saying, he bitches to me all the time,” she complained. “I got to hear him! ‘Your brother don’t call me. It’s been five days.’“ “Since I’ve lost my mom, holidays are more emotional. I’m just trying to make the holiday as best as I can for my dad. I just want to make him happy. He needs that,” Teresa said, addressing the cameras. “Before I went away, I spent a lot of time with my mom. And right now all I can think about is how when I came home, I wished I spent more time with my mom. So it’s frustrating that my brother makes the effort to see my dad just on a holiday.” Teresa’s daughter, Gia, turned to her uncle Joe with her take on what was going on. “It’s not fair,” said the teenager. “We get it so much from Nonno, you don’t even know. I know you have work, trust me, I know. But if you don’t call him for a day, he says something. … At least just try, in a week, just one designated day for Nonno.” But there was no getting through to Joe who maintained that he was a busy man. “I don’t give a s—,” yelled Teresa. “You have to make time. In life, that’s how it is. Capeesh?” While the fighting simmered down and everyone enjoyed the rest of the day, Joe confirmed in a confessional that he was mad at his sister. “Teresa was always like this when we were kids,” Joe admitted. “When it came to me, she would rat me out. Why are you still doing this? It’s going to cause a big problem again, which we don’t need.” As if that wasn’t enough drama, Margaret informed Danielle that she was going to an event hosted by Dolores and things got a little bit crazy. “She invited me to this thing–,” said Margaret BUT Danielle butted in. “And you coulda said, ‘No, I’m not coming because that will make Danielle very upset and very hurt. It’ll hurt her!’ Because you coulda said, ‘This would hurt me if the tables were turned.’ You coulda said anything but, ‘Yes, I’ll come.'” As Margaret tried to calm Danielle down, the former main cast member decided to storm off, but she came back with a parting shot: “What is it that you two really have in common? You cheated on your husband, and she got cheated on?” That has got to be one of the best one-liners in the history of the series, and just like that, it looks like another friendship is over. Some unexpected, exciting news for Jersey Shore fans today! When it was first reported that Jenni Farley had filed for divorce from Roger Mathews , it looked as though the couple was dunzo for good. Fans rooted for Roger as he pleaded with Jenni to take him back in heartfelt video messages and candid social media posts. Roger even celebrated his anniversary with Jenni , despite the fact that he and Jenni were estranged at the time. Yes, Mathews really seemed to be fighting a losing battle. And it seemed extremely unlikely that the famously hard-hearted JWoww would ever change her mind. Yesterday, however, the Jersey Shore star seemed to confirm that she and Roger are at least trying to “make it work.” “We’re here as a family today,” Mathews told Us Weekly at a recent family-themed event sponsored by DreamWorks. “We’re working on things yeah, absolutely. We spent eight years together so … I feel like there’s nothing that’s not fixable in our situation.” With her two kids in tow, Jenni was asked if she and Roger would be spending the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday together; “Always as a family,” Farley responded. Now, that’s a vague response that could mean many things (Jenni and Roger might just be maintaining the “family:” facade for the sake of their children), but at least Mathews seems optimistic. As for Roger’s recent comments that Jenni finds him “repulsive,” Mathews says the remark was meant in jest: “We saw that on the way up here. I hesitate to make a comment because it seems like everything is taken out of context but I’m a real comedian,” he told Us. “So don’t take anything I say serious. I don’t get upset, it comes with the territory. I know what I signed up for but I just think we live in a world with fake news where people put out stuff that’s not true to get listeners to tune in or read or whatever,” he added. “We know what’s going on in our own house and that’s all that matters. If the world wants to judge, the world can judge.” We wish Roger and Jenni all the best going forward. Both parties have confirmed that there was no abuse or infidelity in their relationship; they’ve simply grown apart over the years. Of course, a lack of emotional connection, can be the most insurmountable challenge of all. View Slideshow: Roger Mathews Creeps on Sammi Sweetheart’s Instagram, Claims Jenni Farley Hates Him
