Jenni Farley & Roger Mathews: We’re Totally Getting Back Together!

Some unexpected, exciting news for Jersey Shore fans today! When it was first reported that Jenni Farley had filed for divorce from Roger Mathews , it looked as though the couple was dunzo for good. Fans rooted for Roger as he pleaded with Jenni to take him back in heartfelt video messages and candid social media posts. Roger even celebrated his anniversary with Jenni , despite the fact that he and Jenni were estranged at the time. Yes, Mathews really seemed to be fighting a losing battle. And it seemed extremely unlikely that the famously hard-hearted JWoww would ever change her mind. Yesterday, however, the Jersey Shore star seemed to confirm that she and Roger are at least trying to “make it work.”  “We’re here as a family today,” Mathews told Us Weekly at a recent family-themed event sponsored by DreamWorks. “We’re working on things yeah, absolutely. We spent eight years together so … I feel like there’s nothing that’s not fixable in our situation.” With her two kids in tow, Jenni was asked if she and Roger would be spending the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday together; “Always as a family,” Farley responded. Now, that’s a vague response that could mean many things (Jenni and Roger might just be maintaining the “family:” facade for the sake of their children), but at least Mathews seems optimistic. As for Roger’s recent comments that Jenni finds him “repulsive,” Mathews says the remark was meant in jest: “We saw that on the way up here. I hesitate to make a comment because it seems like everything is taken out of context but I’m a real comedian,” he told Us. “So don’t take anything I say serious. I don’t get upset, it comes with the territory. I know what I signed up for but I just think we live in a world with fake news where people put out stuff that’s not true to get listeners to tune in or read or whatever,” he added. “We know what’s going on in our own house and that’s all that matters. If the world wants to judge, the world can judge.” We wish Roger and Jenni all the best going forward. Both parties have confirmed that there was no abuse or infidelity in their relationship; they’ve simply grown apart over the years. Of course, a lack of emotional connection, can be the most insurmountable challenge of all. View Slideshow: Roger Mathews Creeps on Sammi Sweetheart’s Instagram, Claims Jenni Farley Hates Him

Ariana Grande Obliterates Spotify Records with "Thank U, Next"

Just weeks after ending her engagement to Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande dropped a new single , “Thank U, Next.” The powerful anthem, a tribute to her exes, is smashing music records. Its lyrics have also inspired November’s hottest meme. Billboard Woman of the Year Ariana Grande keeps setting new records only to surpass them. In recent days, she’s been doing it with the same song, as she shared on Instagram. “Thank u, next has surpassed 100 MILLION streams on spotify in only 11 days,” reads a graphic shared on social media. The graphic puts that in perspective: “it is the fastest song in HISTORY to reach this milestone.” Ariana shared the image with a very grateful black heart emoji in the captions. Keep in mind that that’s only her Spotify success. It doesn’t include people listening on YouTube — or pirating it. Her record-smashing feat doesn’t include people using other streaming services. It also doesn’t include those of us who eschew streaming music and instead immediately purchased it from iTunes or Amazon. Part of the appeal is that it’s a beautiful song. The song’s real meaning also contributed to its success. “Thank U, Next” is an anthem to Ariana’s exes — to three, in particular. Ariana had an 8-month relationship with Big Sean from 2014 to 2015. “Thought I’d end up with Sean / But he wasn’t a match,” Ariana sings. Starting in the summer of 2015, Ariana dated backup dancer Ricky Alvarez for about a year. “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh,” Ariana sings. Famously, Ariana got engaged to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, and broke things off in October. “Even almost got married / And for Pete, I’m so thankful,” Ariana’s lyrics affirm. On a sadder note, she dated Mac Miller for two years starting in 2016. He died just a few months ago. “Wish I could say, ‘Thank you’ to Malcolm / ‘Cause he was an angel,” Ariana sings bittersweetly. “Thank U, Next” appeals to people as a song and as an athem. Some can relate in their own lives — they really appreciate their past loves and past relationships. Others are just Ariana Grande fans and love to hear how at peace she is with her romantic past. But it’s more than just a song, folks. It’s a meme. For ages now, social media has been filled with “one taught me love, one taught me patience, one taught me pain” posts. These posts, quoting lyrics from Ariana’s song, can do everything from critique three films or three characters or three condiments. Of course, Ariana’s release of this song such a short time after ending her relationship with Pete Davidson has fueled conspiracy theorists. There are people in the world who believes that all celebrity activities, from relationships to their art to overdoses and deaths, are a scripted facade. These are the same people who use words like “illuminati” and “Deep State” with total sincerity.  So they think that for some unknowable reason, Ariana and Pete were “ordered” by, like, Beyonce or George Soros to get engaged, then split. According to this admittedly hilarious theory, Ariana had this song prepared and mixed for whenever they were ordered to break up. Why? Maybe, like, mind-control embedded in the song. It did release right before election day! Ariana being a talented and passionate musician with the resources to pull together a song quickly is apparently too simple of an explanation. There is a glaring omission from Ariana’s song — her ex Graham Phillips. They performed together on Broadway along with current Dynasty star Elizabeth Gillies. You might know Graham from The Good Wife or from his more recent appearance on Riverdale as a seriously awful dude. Our guess is that the fact that they dated in 2011, when Ariana was mostly just known as a Nickelodeon star, is a factor. Also, she probably just views Graham as a friend whom she once dated. There’s a difference between that and an “ex.” In case you were wondering if there was bad blood, we looked into it and found no evidence of hard feelings. In fact, they staged a mini-reunion this past summer with another former castmate.  Ariana was probably right to narrow her scope of exes to a handful. Portia de Rossi: Steven Seagal "Unzipped" in Front of Me, Sucks as a Person

Portia de Rossi is out for some kind of justice against Steven Seagal. And we really hope she gets it. The veteran actress took to Twitter on Wednesday to level a serious accusation against the former action star, claiming Seagal made a clear sexual advance in her direction a number of years ago. Here is how de Rossi described the disturbing scene: My final audition for a Steven Segal movie took place in his office. He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants. I ran out and called my agent. Unfazed, she replied, “well, I didn’t know if he was your type.” Jeez. It’s hard to even say what’s more troubling here: The actions of Seagal or the response of Portia’s agent? The Arrested Development and Scandal actress has made this claim not long after Julianna Margulies outlined a similar encounter with Seagal back when Margulies was just 23 years old. “A casting director, a woman, said, ‘Steven Seagal wants to go over the scene with you in his hotel room at 10 o’clock at night,’” The Good Wife star told Jenny Hutt on SiriusXM’s Just Jenny last Friday. For understandable reasons, Margulies explained that she was hesitant to follow this direction. She tried to make excuses for why she couldn’t attend the random and possibly shady meeting. “I lived in Brooklyn, and I said, ‘Oh, I don’t do that. I don’t travel. I don’t have money for a cab.’ And I didn’t,” Margulies said on the show, adding: “And I said, ‘And I don’t take subways late at night.’ And she says, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll reimburse you. And I’m here, a woman.’ I got to the hotel at 10:40, and she wasn’t there. And he was. Alone. And he made sure that I saw his gun, which I had never seen a gun in real life. “And I got out of there unscathed.” Ummm… WTH?!? Seagal has not made a movie in ages, and yet has been in the news often of late. First, he slammed the NFL and looked like this in an interview: Steven Seagal Slams NFL in Bizarre Interview, Resembles Various Types of Villains Then, footage surfaced of Seagal referring to female journalists as bitches . So, we’re not saying de Rossi and Margulies are 100% telling the truth for sure. We’re just saying we wouldn’t be surprised if they were. Last month, Inside Edition correspondent Lisa Guerrero went public with her own alleged encounter, stating that Seagal answered the door of an audition one time “in a silk robe and nothing else.” Guerrero went on to claim that she was cut from a movie after refusing to go to Seagal’s dressing room. Again, would anyone really be stunned if this happened? View Slideshow: 17 Actors Everyone Hates to Work With

Khloe Kardashian: I Am NOT in Love With Lamar Odom

As we reported earlier today, it looks as though  Khloe Kardashian is back together with James Harden . The move comes as a pretty major surprise, as it was only a few weeks ago that Khloe and Lamar Odom called off their divorce . Needless to say, the Khlomarden love triangle is pretty confusing these days, but Khloe cleared things up a bit in a recent interview with E! News. She didn’t provide any specifics on her relationship with Harden, but she did put the kibosh on rumors that she and Lamar will rubbing their nether regions together any time in the near future: ” I’m married for a multitude of reasons, but it’s not intimate reasons. It’s more for medical and also to help with a lot of other things to do medically. With his mental strength and everything like that, it was the best choice to make at the time. Even if he was 100 percent better, he has a lot of other issues he has to deal with, I think, before taking on any relationship … When you are in pain and hurting elsewhere in life, you use certain substances to try to block out that pain.  It’s really easy to do that and you think that’s going to be your cure. [But] at the end of the day you have to address the problem at hand because the alcohol or the drugs is not going to take that problem away. ”  Like we said, Khloe didn’t expressly state that she’s choosing Harden over Odom , but it seems pretty clear that there’s no future for her and Lamar. Looks like it’s one more pothole in what’s already been a very bumpy road for the troubled former NBA star.  View Slideshow: Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom: Romance Rewind … Then Unwind

The Walking Dead Casts Iconic Comic Book Villain

The Walking Dead has found an actor to come on board in the iconic role of Negan. And it’s a face with which television fans are very familiar. Jeffrey Dean Morgan – who rose to small screen prominence as Denny Duquette on Grey’s Anatomy and also as John Winchester on Supernaturual – has been cast as the villainous character made famous in the Robert Kirkman comic book series. He will guest star on The Walking Dead Season 6 finale and then be upgraded to series regular status on The Walking Dead Season 7, which has already been ordered by AMC. According to the comics on which this smash hit is based, Negan is the leader of the Saviors, a ruthless group of survivors. He actually kills Glenn with his barbed wire-covered baseball bat (named Lucille), which is an interesting note because viewers are currently wondering whether Glenn is already dead, following his fall into a pit of Walkers two weeks ago. The Hollywood Reporter states that Matt Dillon and Timothy Olyphant were also under consideration for the role. Morgan, meanwhile, is currently stealing every single scene on The Good Wife Season 7 . He’s been sizzling up that CBS drama as private investigator Jason Crause, though this AMC booking means he’s unlikely to return for Season 8. Tammy Torres: I Slept With Drake and Lil Wayne and I WILL Reveal Who’s Better!

Last month, we learned that Drake slept with Lil Wayne’s girlfriend while the latter was locked up on gun charges. Weezy has apparently forgiven Drizzy, but he’s also planning to release a memoir in which he discusses the whole sordid affair in detail. Tammy Torres is the woman stuck in the middle of the Young Money love triangle, and she recently spoke with TMZ about Wayne’s book of revelations: Tammy Torres Talks Sex With Drake & Lil Wayne It seems Tammy was out of the country when the news broke and she was shocked – SHOCKED! – to learn about the scandal when she recently returned home. We find it hard to believe that Tammy didn’t catch wind of the fact that the celebrity gossip world was buzzing about her, but we can see why she would want to play dumb. If Wayne actually releases his memoir, there could be a big payday in it for Ms. Torres. She could either sue him for defamation of character, or sell her version of the story. Both options, of course, require her to keep her mouth shut for the time being. Tammy teased that she will reveal which one of the rappers was better in bed, but only if Wayne goes ahead with his plan of publishing a tell-all. We’re guessing Drake was the superior lay. C’mon – the man croons sensitive R&B tunes, while Weezy raps lyrics like, “Tongue kiss her other tongue/Skeet, skeet, skeet water gun.” We need some Purell just from typing that.  Hey, Wayne is dating Christina Milian these days. We’re sure his ego will be just fine. 13 Lil Rappers 1. Lil Wayne View Photo Lil Wayne, a.k.a. Tunechi a.k.a. Weezy a.k.a. Kerry Washington, Sarah Jessica Parker and Michelle Obama are feeling very Glamour-ous this month. Literally! I don’t know why I wouldn’t seek help to have those things be as healthy as my teeth. I go to the dentist. So why wouldn’t I go to a shrink?” Parker then discussed the issues female veterans face: “I feel like there’s a laundry list… Being a working mother, serving, returning from Iraq or Afghanistan – I almost don’t know where to begin…. And I feel intimidated by their service; I feel ashamed that I haven’t served.” And then Obama, who helped explain The Evolution of Mom Dancing on The Tonight Show last week, said she could never actually compare her lives to the lives of wives with husbands overseas. However… “I [try to] put myself in the place of some of these young women – maybe they’re in their twenties, they have their third kid, they’re not established in their careers, they’re miles away from their family – and imagine the stresses. “So my advice is, ask for help. Malik Yoba: I Wasn’t Fired From Empire For Drug Use! Rogue Bloggers Lie!

Actor Malik Yoba adamantly denies he was fired from Empire for drug use and wants an apology from the “rogue” blogger who first spread that fast-growing rumor. Malik Yoba on Empire: I Wasn’t Fired For Drugs! Major spoiler alert: Don’t watch the videos or continue reading until you watch Empire online and relive the epic first season that just ended on FOX. Now that you’ve been forewarned: Malik’s character Vernon dies on the finale, which was quickly followed by rumors that producers wanted him gone. Reports of Yoba abusing drugs and getting fired from the hit show spread like wildfire, but the 47-year-old actor says he doesn’t use … and never has. After calling out a Thailand blog for concocting the bogus story, he joked that he probably should’ve won an Emmy for Empire Season 2 Episode 10 . In that installment, Vernon is reeling from recent events, and begins snorting coke and drinking, looking and acting increasingly under the influence. Malik Yoba Talks Empire Finale It’s not art imitating life, though. Just art. Yoba says anyone who worked with him on Empire or at any other point in his 25-year career can attest. Empire creator Lee Daniels reached out to him and had his back when the rumor began spreading, he says, and any other colleague would as well. Malik tells TMZ that he spent time and money finding the guy who started the firestorm, and that he promised to post a retraction , which he did earlier today. So in the end … Vernon is still dead. Which sucks for Yoba, as the show is insanely popular. But it was simply for creative reasons, not for anything Malik did. We wish him the best … and wonder where his demise will rank among some of these other infamous, noteworthy TV character deaths in recent memory: 23 Shocking TV Deaths 1.
