Friday, at UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation “Taste for a Cure” gala, Glee star Matthew Morrison was asked about the show’s latest controversy. Regarding author Bret Easton Ellis’ Tweets – out-of-nowhere, awful Tweets – which likened Glee to a “stepping in a puddle of HIV,” his reply was simple: “Who’s that?” Bret is the author of notable works like American Pyscho and Rules of Attraction . Morrison may have meant this to mean that Ellis is not on his radar. The actor added : “You know what? That means the show is good if people have not nice things to say – and amazing things to say. It keeps people talking, you know?” “That’s going to be a part of the show.” That’s a remarkably positive way to look at it. If only everyone approached things with that mentality, maybe comments like Ellis’ wouldn’t even occur. [Photo: WENN.com]
