Chamique Holdsclaw Dispels Misconceptions About Mental Illness And Her Arrest In light of May being Mental Health Awareness Month we sat down with former WNBA great Chamique Holdsclaw to discuss the documentary about her struggle with mental illness “Mind/Game.” Our interview covered a lot of ground, ranging from her family’s history with mental illness and her bipolar disorder diagnosis to her relationship with ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lacy, who was at the center of 2012 charges against her for aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct.
