Dres of 90′s group Black Sheep also made a comparison between the rapper and Jobs, but wasn’t as nice… “Kanye… like Steve Jobs… is one of the most powerful gay men in the world…. God Bless Him,” Dres deleted the tweet but continued: “oh… he’s not out yet…. my bad…. lmao,” before adding, “cmon y’all… i’m playin…. Floyd Mayweather Jr. Puts $3.35 Million Las Vegas Mansion Up For Sale Via Realtor Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr. got paid and then some last year to the tune of $90 million, a figure that made him the highest-paid U.S. athlete for the second consecutive year. So what does America’s richest athlete do for an encore performance? That would be adding a few more million to the coffers by selling his Las Vegas mansion. Mayweather looks to bank $3.35 million for his Sin City spread, which weighs in at 7 bedrooms, 9 baths and roughly 7,300 square feet. Built in 2005, the welterweight champion’s spread spares no expense with a vaulted ceilings and marble flooring, along with amenities like a chef’s kitchen and a posh sunken living room. Though the details are sparse, there’s plenty to be gleaned from the listing photos. For example, Floyd’s wet bar features a row of video poker machines, which is not all that surprising, considering he’s a notorious gambler (Mayweather may or may not have recently bet $5.9 million on the Heat-Pacers game 7), but it’s still cool to see. Other highlights include a massive whirlpool tub in the master bath, a kitchen island the size of a small apartment and an overall decor that is half Bellagio and half Caesar’s Palace. There’s an oasis of sorts in the backyard that looks prime for a victory party, with a pool, a pair of hot tubs and a cabana. In all, Mayweather’s home measures some 7,300 square feet and has a total of seven bedroom and nine baths. Floyd might want to rethink how much he is selling this place for. Congrats to the money team ! Floyd Mayweather Jr. Beats Robert Guerrero Via SI reports: The defense was back, just like it used to be. Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s dad was back, too, just like he used to be. And Mayweather was a winner once again – just like he always is. Mayweather fought as if he had never left the ring, coming back from a year’s absence Saturday night to win a unanimous 12-round decision over Robert Guerrero in their welterweight title fight. The game plan was defense, and Mayweather followed it perfectly. With his father directing from the corner after a 13-year absence, he dominated Guerrero in a performance not totally expected at the age of 36. “I needed my father tonight,” Mayweather said. “My defense was on point and he told me to stick with my defense and that the less you get hit the longer you last.” Mayweather was masterful at times, landing thudding right hands and bloodying Guerrero’s face in a performance that mimicked some of his best fights. Mayweather hurt Guerrero on several occasions, including a series of right hands near the end of the eighth round that buckled Guerrero’s knees. All three judges scored the bout 117-111. The Associated Press had it 119-109. “We did it again,” Mayweather said after earning at least $32 million for his night’s work. “I take my hat off to Robert Guerrero. He’s a true warrior.” If it wasn’t terribly pleasing to the crowd of 15,880, it was terribly effective. Mayweather made a fighter who hadn’t lost in eight years look befuddled as he danced and moved and shot out right hands with increasing frequency. He remained unbeaten in 44 fights and, more importantly, looked so fresh that he may follow through on his plan to fight again in September. “I was looking for the knockout but I hurt my hand,” Mayweather said. “I feel bad I didn’t give the fans the knockout.” Did you watch the fight?
