SMH: Deontay Wilder’s Highly Anticipated Fight Against Tyson Fury Ends In A Draw

Fury Ends In A Controversial Draw On Saturday night in Los Angeles, the very highly anticipated heavyweight championship fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury ended in a controversial split decision draw. Despite some very encouraging moments with Wilder knocking down Fury twice, the Bronze Bomber didn’t get a W for the first time in his professional career. “I think with the two knockdowns I definitely won the fight,” Wilder the WBC heavyweight champion of the world said following the match. “We poured our hearts out tonight. We’re both warriors, but with those two drops I think I won the fight. I came out slow. I rushed my punches. I didn’t sit still. I was too hesitant. I started overthrowing the right hand and I just couldn’t adjust.” The judges ended up scoring the fight 115-111 Wilder, 114-112 Fury, and a 113-113 draw. The thousands of fans at Staples Center weren’t too happy with the decision, loudly booing the final result right as it was announced. Fury did his thing throughout the 12 rounds as well, most surprisingly when he somehow managed to get up after an intense knockdown in the final round that would have been the end for just about every other boxer in the ring. “We’re on away soil, I got knocked down twice, but I still believe I won that fight,” Fury said afterward. “I’m being a total professional here. I went to Germany to fight [Wladimir] Klitschko and I went to America to fight Deontay Wilder. God bless America. The Gypsy King has returned.” Now, everybody is asking about when the next fight will come, which always happens with the disappointing nature of a draw. Whether we will see a rematch is unknown right now, but it was certainly entertaining enough to warrant another go sometime down the road.

Farrah Abraham LOSES IT on Social Media After Canceling Boxing Match

For months, Teen Mom OG fans were brimming with anticipation at the thought of Farrah Abraham entering a boxing ring to get pummelled by fellow former reality star Nicole”Hoopz” Alexander. Sadly, it now looks as though Farrah's face will go un-pummelled, as she's backed out of the fight and blamed everyone but herself — which is kind of her thing. The fight was meant to — in Farrah's words — “promote anti-bullying,” but ironically Ms. Abraham has been engaging in quite a bit of bullying this week. Take a look: 1. Not Ready For the Ring Farrah hasn’t backed away from social media in the days since she canceled her fight. Quite the opposite, in fact. 2. #Winning “Always winning when your views are this amazing #antibullying,” Farrah wrote on Instagram this week. 3. Advice From Ms. Abraham “Always listen to your gut to do the right thing, it will save your energy, stay away from evil drama [and] focus on your successes [and] talents,” she added. 4. Everything Except the Fighting Part “Boxing will forever be a part of my life [and] has shown me the above,” Farrah continued. 5. Pot, Meet Kettle “I’m grateful I no longer tolerate the time-wasting bad people who use me. #freedom #winning #victory #farrahabraham #strength #livingmybestlife,” she concluded. 6. Come Again? Farrah Abraham Refuses to Be Screwed… by Celebrity Boxing Promoter

For one of the first times in her life, Farrah Abraham refuses to be screwed. The former Teen Mom OG star, who was fired by MTV back in February due to her prominent amateur pornography career, has spent the last several weeks promoting her upcoming boxing match. Yes, we’re serious: Farrah Abraham was going to get inside of a ring and participate in an actuak boxing match. Her opponent was going to be  Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander , who is an actual person best known for appearing on VH1 reality shows Flavor of Love and I Love Money. The brawl was going to go down on November 10 in Atlantic City and at least a few dozen people were likely going to be in attendance. But they can now make alternate plans. Because Abraham tells TMZ the fight is off. Why would Abraham do something she never asked her sex tape co-stars to do, pull out? According to insiders, the event’s promoter, Damon Feldman, had agreed to foot the hotel, travel and fight bills for basically everyone Farrah has ever met. Feldman specifically promised Abraham he could cover her over 32 hotel rooms, six plane tickets and around 25 fight tickets. Why did Farrah need so 32 hotel rooms when she apparently only needed six people flown in for the match? It’s unclear. But TMZ writes that Feldman backed out of his end of the deal this week… … and Abraham, who knows a thing or two about back ends, responded by dropping out of the barely-anticipated event. If the promoter cannot cover these expenses for her and her loved ones, Abraham says she will not fight. Naturally, there are two sides to this story, however — and Feldman tells the aforementioned website that he nver agreed contractually to any of the flight or hotel fees mentioned above. Conversely, he says Farrah has agreed on paper to take part in the match, and that she’ll be in major legal trouble if she backs out. Neither Farrah nor her manager, David Weintraub, have responded to inquiries about this topic. Nor have they commented on Feldman’s allegation that Abraham started making crazy demands just this week and only claimed she’s pulling out after they weren’t met. With, like, 37 or 38 people probably a little bit excited for the bout, let’s hope it takes place. Or not. We don’t really care one way or the other. Do you?!?!?!? NYPD Investigates Harvey Weinstein’s Multiple High-Priced Hush Money Payouts To Various Victims

Tim Boxer/Getty Images NYPD Investigating Harvey Weinstein’s Victim Payouts As you may recall, Harvey was already under investigation by the NYPD for the rape of actress Paz De La Huerta . However, with the case being 10 years old, the D.A. ran into too many difficulties and now feel it may be impossible to prosecute . But, there may be a loophole to get some formal charges in on Harvey . Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that the NY District Attorney D.A. is investigating DOZENS of payments Weinstein doled out to keep his victims quiet and his multiple sexual misconduct cases out of court. They’re looking to decipher the source of the money paid out. According to the D.A., if any of the cash was secretly siphoned from The Weinstein Company, rather than Harvey’s own personal accounts…he stands to be charged with embezzlement. Harvey’s lawyer says all Harvey’s accounts and payments are on the up and up, and once they’re done with their lil investigation they’ll see there’s not even anything there to prosecute. SMH. Tom Brady: Caught Lying About Floyd Mayweather Friendship?

As expected, Floyd Mayweather defeated Conor McGregor Saturday night in a fight that was far more entertaining than it had any right to be. Of course, now that his career in the ring is over, Mayweather will likely spend the rest of his days engaged in the other kind of battle he’s become famous for. No, we’re not talking about the many incidents of spousal abuse he’s been arrested for over the years. We’re talking about the odd, passive-aggressive verbal sparring between Floyd and random celebrities that seems to take up much of the boxer’s time. The most high-profile example in the past year saw Floyd getting dissed by former friend Justin Bieber , who decided to cut ties with the Money Man as a result of Mayweather’s ungodly ways. (Strip clubs and Moet don’t jibe with the Biebs’ newly Bible-thumping lifestyle.) Now, Floyd is in a tift with another talented, but widely-despised pretty boy. And amazingly, he’s found a frenemy who might be even more universally-disliked than Bieber. Asked about his celebrity friends in a recent interview, Mayweather stated that he and Tom Brady are pretty much besties. “That’s a close friend of mine. Tom Brady is a very, very close friend,” Mayweather said. “An unbelievable guy with unbelievable talent…he’s a great guy. Actually, Tom Brady texted me yesterday.” In case you didn’t get the point that he and Tom are bros for life, Mayweather continued: “We have a cool friendship. He texted me and asked me ‘How’s everything going?’ And I texted him back: ‘Everything is cool, how you doing? How’s the family?’ And he said, ‘Everything is going A-OK.'” Wow, sounds like they’re pretty tight. Unless, of course, you ask Tom Brady about his supposed BFF. Fortunately, that’s just what a pair of Boston radio hosts did this week, and the results were hilariously awkward. After repeating that he’s only met Floyd “a couple of times,” Brady responded with a curt “no” when asked if he and Mayweather are friends. “No, I met him a couple of times,” Brady said, clearly dying to move on to a new topic. “I think he’s a great fighter. That was a great fight the other night.” We hate to side with Floyd on … well, on anything, really, but Mayweather is probably telling the truth here. TMZ is reporting that Floyd was spotted video conferencing with Brady during a press conference just before his fight with McGregor. For boxers, every fight is one of the biggest days of their life, so if they’re video chatting with you the night before, you’re probably more than just some dude they met a couple times. In all likelihood, the Patriots QB is just trying to manage his public image after the debacle that ensued last summer when the world learned that Brady and Donald Trump are friends . Anyone who watched the Deflategate press conference knows old Tom Terrific isn’t the most media-savvy guy on the planet but watching that guy who used to make inappropriate comments about your wife at cocktail parties become the most powerful man in the world is enough to teach anyone a lesson.

Via TMZsports : Muhammad Ali’s ex-wife says Colin Kaepernick needs to apologize for his National Anthem protest … saying it’s “not heroic” and he should “get off his high horse.” TMZ Sports spoke with Khalilah Camacho Ali — who was married to the boxer from 1967 to 1976 — and says she was his adviser for his biggest protest … refusing to fight in the Vietnam war. “What he’s doing right now is not heroic,” Khalilah says … “I would love to meet with him or talk to him on the phone to help share his message in a better way.” “I helped Muhammad decide whether he was going to the army or going to jail. He listened to my every word. You see the impact that had on our nation? Colin could absolutely have the same impact if he made the right decisions to really make a difference.” Apparently, Khlalilah feels like this makes her an expert on protests, and Colin needs to ring her up to learn a thing or two about how to do this right. “The first thing I would do is ask him about his stance on humanity … what exactly is he trying to improve and how is he going to make that happen? Everyone relax.  She’s still in love. On July 5th, Hayden Panettiere was spotted in New York sans engagement ring. Of course, everyone and their mother assumed that she had called off her engagement to Russian boxer Wladimir Klitschko, with whom she has an 18-month-old daughter, Kaya. But you don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.” In a way, Panettiere has become sort of an unofficial spokeswoman for Pospartum Depression education. “There’s a lot of misunderstanding. There’s a lot of people out there that think that it’s not real, that it’s not true,” Panettiere said. “That it’s something that’s made up in their minds, that, ‘Oh, it’s hormones.’ They brush it off. “It’s something that’s completely uncontrollable. It’s really painful and it’s really scary and women need a lot of support.” Panettiere is still ready to have more babies with Klitschko, 40.   She’s referred to both the boxer and the daughter as the loves of her life, and hasn’t let PPD hijack her happiness. And for those who question PPD, Panettiere has this to say: “If you think for one second that a mother wants to feel that way toward her child, you’re outta your mind.
