As recently as this spring, Ryan Phillippe said he was still sad over his divorce from Reese Witherspoon. But the actor has taken the high, mature road when it comes to his ex-wife’s recent engagement , telling The New York Daily News : “I’m very happy for both Reese and Jim. I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children.” Phillippe and Witherspoon have two children together. They divorced in 2008 amidst rumors that he cheated on her with Abbie Cornish, with whom Ryan then carried on a relationship for many months. He’s now single.
