Police Fatally Shoot Homeowner After He Shoots Intruder A Texas man who shot and killed a burglar who attempted to rob his home is now dead after police fatally shot him when arriving to scene and “not realizing” that the gun-wielding man was defending his home. via Fox News A Texas homeowner was shot dead by police after he shot and killed a career criminal who broke into his home Thursday night, authorities say. The Dallas Morning News reports police did not realize 57-year-old William Keith Hall was defending his home when they arrived, and that Hall ignored the officers’ repeated demands he drop his weapon. Maj. Jeff Cotner tells the paper Hall pointed a pistol at police officers and witnesses on the scene, and that he had plenty of time to “de-escalate the situation.” “He was given plenty of notice, and he didn’t choose a path other than to confront officers,” Cotner said. Hall also allegedly pointed his gun at a contractor working on a house nearby who called 911 after hearing the shots. The caller, later identified as David Humphrey, told authorities Hall was yelling at witnesses to get away from the man who allegedly broke into his home, identified as 30-year-old Jerry Wayne Hale, after he shot him. Humphrey said Hall tried to fire at the witnesses but his gun was apparently jammed. The Dallas Morning News reports Hale had been arrested 14 times since 2000, and that his girlfriend told authorities he had gone to Hall’s home to burglarize it. Yuck daddy… Florida Man Arrested For Pleasing Himself Sexually In Front Of Convenience Store Via NWFDailyNews A man was arrested after witnesses say he pleased himself outside a convenience store. On Aug. 20 Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies went to the Ritz Foodstore on Beal Parkway to investigate a report of an indecent exposure. There, they were told by two witnesses that 37-year-old John Earl Eutzy of Fort Walton Beach was standing at the south corner of the building next to the pay phones when he unzipped his pants, removed his genitals and began pleasing himself. They said he would turn toward Beal Parkway while doing this, then turn back toward the building. He changed his position several times. Both witnesses said several small children were in the area and saw Eutzy’s actions. One of the witnesses had to escort a woman and her child to their car because Eutzy had frightened the child. Deputies found Eutzy a short way down Beal Parkway. They noted he appeared to be extremely intoxicated. He was charged with lewd or lascivious exhibition, a felony. His plea date is Sept. 24. R.I.P. Willie Reed! Your bravery will not be forgotten. One of the witnesses who testified against Emmett Till’s killers has passed away at age 76. Via ABC Local reports : A Chicago man who was one of the last remaining witnesses of what many call the “spark of the civil rights movement” has died. Willie Reed was 18 years old when he witnessed the murder of Emmett Till in Mississippi. Reed moved to Chicago after the trial. He told prosecutors that he saw the two men charged with Till’s murder driving a truck with the boy in the back, and then later heard screams coming from a nearby barn. Despite fearing for his life, Reed came forward and testified at trial. “He said even though he was scared, he had to testify, he had to tell what he saw,” said Julie Louis, Willie Reed’s wife. When Willie Reed moved to Chicago, he changed his name to Willie Louis. He was 76. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday. May he rest in peace! God bless him. WLS

See u soon lover. The destination of the flight? Berlin, Germany. The act performing in that city yesterday as part of his Carpe Diem Tour? Chris Brown. In case there was then any doubt over her holiday plans and with whom she would spend them, Rihanna added: “#Berlin #CarpeDiem.” She and her violent ex were then photographed last night at a nightclub in the area. Indeed, Rihanna and Brown may want to believe their rekindled relationship is ” Nobody’s Business ,” but the singer clearly chooses to make it so when she alerts fans to her whereabouts in such a fashion. Let’s just hope she ended this encounter with Team Breezy’s most famous member unscathed.

We have an update on the Gabriel Aubry arrest from yesterday: Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend and current baby daddy made an enormous scene yesterday at the actress’ home Thanksgiving morning, getting into a scuffle with Olivier Martinez that landed both in the hospital and Aubry in jail. He was booked on charges of misdemeanor battery. After posting $20,000 bail, Aubry was released around 6:30 p.m. local time last night. He is due in court on December 13. Berry was present at the altercation and reportedly grabbed daughter Nahla as soon as it turned ugly, bringing into a room far away from the action. Many other witnesses were also on the scene. The Oscar winner is yet to release a statement.

Lindsay Lohan has escaped again. She will NOT be prosecuted for her alleged role in the theft of more than $100,000 in watches and sunglasses this month. According to the D.A.’s office, there is insufficient evidence to bring a burglary charge against the star, despite Lohan being the prime suspect in the caper. One key component: The D.A. feels Lindsay and Sam Magid, who owns the house that was allegedly burglarized, have had a “longstanding relationship.” Sam also did not identify the actress as a suspect and other witnesses “have refused to become involved.” Also, no suspects were found with stolen property. Case closed. Lindsay’s assistant Gavin Doyle, who was also considered a suspect in the theft occurring a week ago Sunday, will not face prosecution either, TMZ reports. “The District Attorney’s Office received no evidence that any jewelry, including watches, was taken,” according to a statement released by the office. “The evidence presented to us was valued at $6,400 and included $3,000 in cash, four pairs of sunglasses, an iPod and keys to two cars and a house.” The key here is that the initial theft complaint , which included $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses, never made its way to the D.A.’s office.
