A message about Paltrow, 41, appeared on Whisper — an anonymous secret-sharing app — on Monday, claiming that the “Iron Man” actress has been involved with entertainment lawyer Kevin Yorn, according to Gawker’s gossip blog Defamer. It was further perpetuated by Whisper’s editor-in-chief Neetzan Zimmerman tweeting out the posting from his own account. “I can’t reveal their identity for obvious reasons, but it’s a person with extremely close ties to Gwyneth who came to us directly after Graydon Carter wrote that missive about why (Vanity Fair) walked away from the Paltrow profile last year,” Zimmerman told Defamer. “I have no reason to suspect they’re lying about this, and if anyone would know the truth, this person would.” On Tuesday, Vanity Fair published a full letter from editor Graydon Carter, who revealed that the magazine would not be publishing the “epic takedown” it was believed to be working on. The actress’s rep issued a statement to Defamer on Tuesday slamming the Whisper posting as “100% false.” “This is clearly a fabricated story with no credibility at all,” Paltrow’s publicist, Stephen Huvane, said. “The only time Gwyneth has even recently seen Kevin Yorn (who she knows only casually through business contacts) was on a flight from NY-LA. Gwyneth was flying with her assistant and the CEO of Goop, and Kevin coincidentally was also in the first class section.
