The Talk will have something to … talk about in the form Aisha Tyler ( Ghost Whisperer , Friends , and currently Archer ) to the panel of the CBS daytime show. Tyler joins Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood. The contracts of Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete were not renewed. She previously guest-hosted on CBS’ answer to The View , which celebrates its one-year anniversary this month, and made her debut today. Can Aisha Tyler jumpstart The Talk? As part of an attempt to revamp the year-old show, CBS has rotated in a string of guest hosts; Kris Jenner did a stint, as did Molly Shannon. Back in 2009, Tyler shot an eponymous talk show pilot for ABC that was described as a hybrid between daytime and late-night talk shows. It didn’t really pan out. Hopefully this will!
