Tyler Perry is finally laying his beloved Madea character to rest from the big screen saying we will finally see the last of her in Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral which hits theaters tomorrow, March 1st, 2019. The plot of the movie is simple as a joyous family reunion turns into an unexpected nightmare when Madea and the gang find themselves planning a funeral in the backwoods of Georgia. This wouldn’t be a Madea movie without some crazy twist and turns in the film. As family secrets come to light in all the debauchery of the film you do get some very funny moments in an overall mess of a film. People love these movies and they tend to pull in money at the box office with Tyler Perry’s Boo! 2 A Madea Halloween pulling in 47 million dollars and the previous movie pulling in 73 million. Despite all the box office success, Tyler said he’s said everything he has to say as this character after doing her for over 20 years. He reveals, “I’m turning 50 this year and Madea was clearly a means to get to a point. To get to the studio opening, to be able to work and hire people and do all of these other things and she did all of that for me and for me turning 50 I want to do somethings differently.” While the movie comes out this weekend, you can still see Madea on the stage as Tyler is taking the act on the road touring Madea in a stage play where it all started, for another year or maybe longer. “I don’t know if it’s going to end this year or 2020 because the show has been sold out everywhere so we are adding more dates,” Tyler explains to Xilla. The live reaction with the audience is what he will miss the most because he explains it’s “not like these movies.” The movies are what they are, funny and all over the place and you don’t expect them to be anything more than nonsense, long scenes and a bunch of foolery. One of the running jokes in the film has everyone calling Madea a man. I’ve always thought Madea was the elder Auntie with no filter we all know and love but I asked has she always been a woman? Teen Mom has a lot of drama. Just so, so much drama. On the show, we see breakups, fights, custody battles, abuse accusations, arrests, serious health struggles … it's a lot. But the one thing we can always count on is that there are some cute kids on the show. And just a couple of days ago, Catelynn and Tyler added one more kid to the crew! 1. A Cause for Celebration! She’s here, everybody! Catelynn and Tyler’s little bitty baby girl is here! 2. Bittersweet? It’s still kind of a weird situation, considering that they were separated not too long ago. 3. She had a miscarriage, she became suicidal after, and she spent six weeks in rehab, came home for a bit, then went back for six more weeks. 5. The Struggle Tyler was very supportive at first, but the rehab was all the way in Arizona, and the second time she wanted to go, he had a hard time understanding why she couldn’t just do therapy at home. 6. Yes, Cate and Tyler are still together … but barely. Lowell and Baltierra underwent a trial separation recently, and while both made it clear that they're hoping to save their marriage, it seems the process is taking a tremendous emotional toll. The veteran Teen Mom Og star has been open and honest for years about her battle with mental health issues, along with her occasional struggle to remain happily married to husband Tyler. The couple has remained together since middle school and has welcomed two kids together (one of which was given up for adoption), yet both sides have admitted at times that it hasn't been easy. It's still not easy. Tyler made that evident on the latest episode of Teen Mom OG when he continued to push for a trial separation. He even prepared to move into a new home. How did Catelynn react to this development? What is her biggest fear? For the past couple weeks, Teen Mom OG viewers have witnessed Tyler and Catelynn struggle in their marriage, even as they express excitement over Catelynn’s pregnancy. 2. What’s the Issue Here? Tyler has been there for his wife — through A LOT. He watched as she suffered a miscarriage in early 2018 and then went to Arizona for a month because she was stuck in a dark depression for awhile as a result. 3. He’s Always Supported Catelynn, BUT… … it’s taken an emotional toll. “When does it ever turn around?” he asked some friends on an episode in November. “When is it ever 50/50?! I’m saying this is what I need, awesome. If you can’t, let me know now. I don’t want to waste any time, let me get out of here. Marriage is a bitch.” 4. And He Wants Out? On occasion, yes. Tyler has made it clear he does NOT want to sleep around and that he truly loves Catelynn. He just needs some space sometimes. 5. In a House All His Own?!? Yes. This was at the crux of the Teen Mom episode that aired on December 10, as Tyler prepared to actually move out. 6. Can We Not Make This a Big Deal? “It’s only eight minutes down the road,” Tyler emphasized on air. “We’re just living separate. He begged her to try therapy while still living at home, or even finding a treatment center within driving distance, but she refused, even when their daughter, Nova, was clearly still having a hard dealing with her first trip to rehab. 6. In fact, some sources say the situation has gotten so bad that Meghan and Kate's mutual animosity is now tearing at the fabric of the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry. It sounds almost too absurd to imagine — why would a group of people tasked with representing a nation give in to such petty jealousies and destructive rivalries? Mo’Nique talked about personal experiences she had with Roseanne and took things a step further saying she wished Oprah or Tyler Perry would have spoken up on her behalf. So you know how people have been talking about how Tyler Baltierra should leave Catelynn Lowell for a long time now? Yeah, it’s this whole thing. It’s weird, because in the beginning of their reality television career, they were this adorable couple who made the painful decision to place their child for adoption because it was best for her. They were definitely Teen Mom fan favorites … so what happened? Things had been going downhill for a while, after Catelynn and Tyler neglected to do the things they’d planned to do after they had their first child. They never went to college, they never did all the things they said they were going to do to better themselves and change their lives. But then they had their second child, Nova, who they obviously kept. They also sent Nova to spend the night at Catelynn’s mother’s house multiples times a week, and they once even let Tyler’s father babysit her while they went out of the country. Fans will remember that Catelynn’s mother and Tyler’s father were pretty much the main reasons they thought they couldn’t raise their first child … So opinions began to change, definitely. Then, last year, Catelynn checked into a treatment center for six weeks to deal with suicide thoughts she began having after a miscarriage . And no one thought poorly about her for that. But then she came home, and a few weeks after that, she went back for another six weeks . Lots of people really thought poorly about her then. The thing was that she didn’t seem open to trying to get help at home — at outpatient treatment center in their state, therapy, nothing. Even after Tyler explained how hard it was on their daughter to have her gone for so long , she wasn’t moved. She even seemed kind of cold about it — she didn’t tell Nova she would be gone for over a month again, and she told Tyler that she’d “manage” without her. When we saw all of this happen on Teen Mom OG, Tyler was obviously frustrated by it all. He said at one point that he was beginning to think that he and Cate weren’t right for each other anymore. In more recent episodes, he called her behavior “repulsing,” and he’s really just seemed over her altogether. As he complained to some friends, “marriage is a bitch.” You might be thinking something along the lines of “hold up, aren’t they about to have another kid?” And it’s true — Catelynn is pregnant right now , and in March she and Tyler will welcome another daughter. But on the show, Tyler hasn’t seemed super excited about the whole thing because, as anyone who knows anything about any of this can see, the timing just isn’t good. He even claimed that they’d been doing everything they could to prevent a pregnancy. What we’re saying with all of this is that just a few months ago, things were really bad for these two, and perhaps they still are. So bad that Tyler recently sort of commented that he deserves better than Catelynn . In a recent post on the Teen Mom OG Instagram page, someone left a comment complaining about how Cate had been refusing to watch the show with Tyler, something his therapist reccommended. “I cannot STAND Cate,” that person wrote. “I hope he moves on from her at some point. He deserves a real woman, not a little girl.” And Tyler liked that comment. It got a lot of attention, because of course it did, but now, Tyler is claiming that the whole thing was just a misunderstanding. “OMG people!” he tweeted to kick off his explanation. “That was a comment that Cate’s dad replied to & since I got his notification I scrolled to see what he had responded to & must have hit the like button.” “Why would I like a negative comment about my wife with her dad on the thread?” he asked. “You people are psycho lmao!” Yeah, so that’s not terribly convincing, huh? Sure, lots of people probably accidentally like things all the time on social media, but if it’s something like this, they usually just un-like it, you know? Besides, the word is that the girl who wrote that original comment has made it clear that Catelynn’s dad never replied to it, so that’s something. Look, maybe Tyler’s telling the truth, and he really did like that comment accidentally. Or maybe he really has been feeling like he deserves a better partner than Catelynn .
