Yesterday, we reported that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are back together after the couple was spotted making out on the American Idol set in plain view of dozens of cast and crew members. The semi-public confirmation that they’re back on came after months of speculation and rumors about Cassie and J-Lo meeting up for secret rendezvous. Now it seems there was no real reconciliation, after all – because Jen and Casper never really broke up. TMZ is reporting that the couple faked their breakup for publicity purposes. Apparently, in the months leading up to the release of Jen’s most latest movie, The Boy Next Door, the studio hoped to sell more tickets by spreading rumors about Lopez dating Ryan Guzman – her co-star in the film. For his part, Casper was apparently starring in a UFC-themed flick called Street (We’ve never heard of it, either.) and producers thought he would be a bigger box office draw if he appeared to be single. So does this mean there’s no truth to the rumors about Casper cheating with Sofia Vissa ?
