“Basketball Wives,” VH1′s hit show, is going cross country to Los Angeles. Though the original series takes place in Miami, you’ll still see some familiar faces on the “LA” season when it airs on August 29. Gloria Govan, the wife of Matt Barnes (of the Los Angeles Lakers) who famously feuded with all the “Basketball Wives” when she appeared on the first season, has surprisingly signed on for the LA season. (We think it’s because she’s got her sister Laura Govan as back-up this time around. If you don’t remember, Laura was rumored to be having an affair with Shaq while Shaunie was married to him).
