No Justice: Bernie “Those Boys Are” Fine Isn’t Going To Get Charged For Anything

It’s a damn shame this man won’t be sitting under the jail. The former Syracuse assistant men’s basketball coach Bernie Fine cannot be prosecuted for allegations that he sexually abused two boys in the 1980s because the statute of limitations had run out, William Fitzpatrick, the district attorney for Onondaga County, N.Y., said Wednesday. But Fitzpatrick added that he believed the men who accused Fine were telling the truth about the abuse. Fitzpatrick said he judged the men, Bobby Davis and Mike Lang, to be credible in their accounts of abuse, and regretted that their accusations were not brought to his office in 2002 when Davis called the Syracuse police and alerted several news media outlets to his claims. “It’s not my place to say that Bernie Fine is guilty of anything,” Fitzpatrick said. “It is my place to say that the two victims are believable.” So Bernie is going to get off the hook because he played with those boys 20 years ago? The justice system makes no damn sense. Source More On Bossip! RihRih Gets Kushed Up And Goes Drizzy H.A.M. Making It Rain On Them Hoes For Another Season… Those “Basketball Wives: L.A.” Broads Will Be Back Next Year

“Basketball Wives L.A.” fans — more drama is on the way. We hear Jackie “Crazy Like A Fox” Christie, Laura “Linebacker” Govan and Draya “Too Worthless For Words” Michele and the other ladies of the Los Angeles BBW franchise are getting a second season. VH1 will be producing a new season of their successful show, and apparently all that reality-show drama wasn’t enough to scare Jackie Christie away because we’re also told the season’s most talked about wife, will be returning. Jackie will have a full plate in 2012 as she prepares to release her new book aimed couples, and how to focus on intimacy. We’re also told she just shot a pilot for BET. Not to gas either of them, but we actually thought the idea of a “Jackie & Draya” show might be more interesting than that snoozefest they called the first season of “Basketball Wives: L.A.” Are y’all excited about this news? We’re willing to bet that plenty of cast changes will go down before it’s all said and done. We don’t care how much money it takes — they need to get Vanessa Bryant on that isht and get it poppin’ for reals. Source

Were You Watching: Was Imani Out Of Line Calling Draya “Worthless” On Basketball Wives L.A.?

This week’s “Angry Birds” aka Basketball Wives L.A. featured Laura Govan and Malaysia Pargo apologize for their trifling behavior fighting in a restaurant on the first episode. However not everyone was apologetic in the second episode — namely Draya who defended her days working the pole as no big deal after Imani questioned her morals. “Yeah, I showed my boobs for money — whoopty do” she added that maybe Imani’s boobs weren’t as nice as hers and that’s why she wasn’t comfortable showing them. The topic came up again in a session with a life coach (after the girls decide Draya needs to be rescued from her immoral lifestyle) after a game where each woman was asked to use an adjective to describe their peers, when Draya’s adjectives are read they are mostly negative — Sneaky, Combative, Animated and Worthless… the game’s supposed to be anonymous but Jackie quickly owns up to her adjective and the others follow suit leaving Imani to admit she called Draya worthless for reasons she doesn’t want to go into in this forum. The last scene of the show is the girls showing up for Draya’s party — and she isn’t very nice. In the preview for next week’s episode we see Imani and Draya have a sit down where Draya defends the stories about her son’s neglect by saying he’s never been taken away from her. At this point we’ve all heard the story of Draya leaving her son home alone to heat up microwave meals — so between that and her unapologetic attitude about her stripper past — is she really worthless? Or is this something only time will tell? View This Poll

“Basketball Wives: Los Angeles” Cast Revealed!

The rest is here:

“Basketball Wives,” VH1′s hit show, is going cross country to Los Angeles. Though the original series takes place in Miami, you’ll still see some familiar faces on the “LA” season when it airs on August 29. Gloria Govan, the wife of Matt Barnes (of the Los Angeles Lakers) who famously feuded with all the “Basketball Wives” when she appeared on the first season, has surprisingly signed on for the LA season. (We think it’s because she’s got her sister Laura Govan as back-up this time around. If you don’t remember, Laura was rumored to be having an affair with Shaq while Shaunie was married to him). The cast also includes: Kimsha Artest, wife of Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest Jackie Christie, wife of Doug Christie, former player for the Los Angeles Clippers Imani Showalter, ex-fiancée of Charlotte Bobcats’ Stephen Jackson SOURCE Will you be watching? “Basketball Wives” Gloria Govan & Sister Laura Govan Team Up For Spinoff Chris Bosh’s Baby Mama Sues Him For Blocking Her “Basketball Wives” Check 6 Reasons “Basketball Wives” Are Still Certified Hood Rats
