Lindsay Lohan: Maybe Banned From India

According to the British newspaper “The Telegraph”, actress Lindsay Lohan could possibly be banned from India. Last December, the actress tried to divert herself from Hollywood spitefulness by working on a BBC documentary on child labor. However, when she was tweeted about her participation in a raid where they rescued children from a sweatshop, this drama had overshadowed her trip. She wrote that as of now, there were 40 children saved within a day’s work. Doing this act is a life worth living. The conflict was that Lohan was not fair to India during the raid. The actress was caught up in much bigger trouble, as her false accusations evoked her profile to authorities of India. They discovered that Lohan had come into the country on a tourist visa instead of a work visa for this documentary, and thus this is considered as illegal. Bhuwan Ribhu, an activist with the Indian organization Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save Childhood Campaign), said that the actress visited one of their rehabilitation facilities during the course of filming. She also spoke with children at one of the group’s Delhi facilities. Ribhu explained that their group had no idea about her visa status because they were working with the BBC and not particularly with the actress. Actress Lindsay Lohan may not be able to re-enter India. Authorities are now studying her case and will rule on the matter, according to the British newspaper “The Telegraph” Lindsay Lohan: Maybe Banned From India is a post from: Daily World Buzz
