But the singer expressed his remorse throughout, calling the ordeal “possibly” the worse period of his young life. Brown, clad in a sweater and bow tie, sat across from King clasping his hands as he was flanked by his mother, Joyce Hawkins, and his attorney, Mark Geragos.
