Man Accidentally Buys Mega Millions Ticket Instead Of Powerball And Wins Could $165 million change your life ? According to Breaking 911 an unidentified man in Staten Island accidentally bought the winning Quik-Pick ticket for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing at a local deli. Deli manager Sarbjit Singh told the Staten Island Advance he was ‘shocked’ to have sold the winning ticket – but hopes the winner is a regular customer. ‘We didn’t see the winner yet, but we’ve been asking our regular customers to check their tickets,’ he said. The winning Mega Millions numbers were 11, 39, 51, 57 and 75, plus the Mega Ball 2. The cash value of the prize is $101 million. As no ticket matched all six Powerball numbers on Saturday, the jackpot has now grown to a staggering $1.3billion, which is now a world record.
