Lindsay Lohan: STILL Trying to Make Mean Girls Sequel Happen!

Earlier this month, the world celebrated Mean Girls Day , that holiest of holidays in which loved ones gather at their desks to tell one another the date. (It’s October 3.) Of course, Lindsay Lohan lives on Lindsay Lohan time, so she’s celebrating Mean Girls Day a week and a half late with a throwback that brings to mind that girl in your Facebook feed who peaked in high school. That’s back-in-the-day Lindsay along with Gretchen Wieners and Regina George. Okay, considering the film came out 12 years ago, and they’re both grown-ass women in their thirties, Rachel McAdams and Lacey Chabert would probably prefer to be referred to by their proper names, but we just have time letting go of Tina Fey’s cult classic. And it seems we’re not the only ones… Lindsay posted the pic above today, along with a caption reading: “#tbt … miss you all… sequel?” Yes, if you frequently read Lindsay’s interviews, and your family hasn’t yet intervened with a Kindle and a library card, then you know the actress is still hyped on the idea of a Mean Girls sequel . Back in 2014, Linds revealed that MG2 is part of her ” five year plan .” (which also includes an Oscar! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!) She even has an (extremely rough) plot outline: “Like an older version where they’re all housewives and they’re all cheating,” she once told an interviewer. A year later, she posted a photo from the set of the original film with a caption reading: “Next step: #MEANMOMS (I’m trying to make it happen!)” Yes, LiLo is basically Gretchen Wieners when it comes to making this happen. But unlike “fetch,” the idea of Mean Girls 2 has a chance of catching on. Nostalgia is all the rage these days, and if crap like Full House that no one remembers fondly can score a sequel series, why not see if fans are interested in what the Plastics are up to these days? But hopefully whoever gets the ball rolling to get this thing off the gound will completely ignore Lindsay’s suggestions about the plot/ Cady “Africa” Heron was a smart, ambitious, and most importantly, kind young woman, and the seeing her as a bored, adulterous, pill-popping housewife would be far too depressing. Lindsay may have been the one to bring Cady to life… But that doesn’t mean Cady needs to go off the rails as hard as Lindsay did.

The Notebook is one of the most beloved romantic films of all time and when it was released, stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams were dating in real life. The adored nature of the movie and the seeming perfection of Gosling and McAdams’ relationship makes the recent revelations made by The Notebook director Nick Cassavetes all the more explosive: “Maybe I’m not supposed to tell this story but they were really not getting along on set,” said Cassavetes in a recent interview. “Really not. Florida Man Keeps Calling 911 Because Wife Threw Out Beer, Gets Arrested

A resident of South Florida was arrested this week after he kept calling 911 to report what he believed to be a serious crime: His wife had thrown out his beer. West Palm Beach police say they responded on Monday evening to a call for help made by Carlos Bueno Mir. When cops arrived on the scene, the 49-year old told them about his wife’s actions, causing officers to explain that this is NOT the sort of emergency for which 911 is meant to be used. They also said, surprisingly, that Mir appeared to be intoxicated. Later that same night, Carlos dialed 911 again (and then again), yelling at the operating and claiming that a female outside had broken into two of his beers. Altogether, Mir called 911 seven times in four hours. He now faces charges of misuse of the 911 emergency system for making a false alarm or complaint or reporting false information. How does this abuse of the system compare to the woman who called 911 because she was horny ? McGosling fans, rejoice. According to reports, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are “taking a break” in their relationship after deciding they were “moving too fast.” 2 Fast 2 Furious, you could say. See what we did there? Eva was in a movie by that name … anyway. The actress and The Notebook hunk are on a break! Rumors are running rampant this week that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are back together, or getting back together, following his split with Eva Mendes. But, like The Notebook , is it more romantic fantasy than reality? Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams Back On? It makes sense that the masses want Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams back together ? If they didn’t, this isn’t a planet we’d want to be living on. It’s also understandable how the rumors popped up. The heart throb actor is said to be on the rocks Eva Mendes, if not broken up with her completely. Given that, and the fact that Rachel McAdams still exists? A glimmer of possibility was born. A dream was renewed. Hope, once again, sprang eternal. The only problem with the scenario? There’s little evidence to support the idea that it’s actually happening, no matter how much you might will it to. First, his alleged split with Eva Mendes has not even been confirmed. Second, despite reports that Ryan and Rachel are spending a lot of time together recently, the contrary appears to be the case, as she’s in Hawaii filming. Kathy Bates Cast on American Horror Story Season 3

Ryan Murphy has hooked an Oscar winner. Kathy Bates will portray a pivotal role on American Horror Story Season 3 , multiple sources confirm, coming on board the unusual FX drama in a mysterious role. All we know is this: Bates will portray the best friend of a character played by fellow acting heavyweight Jessica Lange, only to eventually turn on her pal. Murphy says the role will be the most evil of Bates’ impressive career. The third season of American Horror Story will feature many of the same cast members as the first two, but will be set in modern times. Viewers can also expect some kind of Romeo-and-Juliet romance to play out, but little else is known about what’s to come. New episodes of the series will air on FX in October.
