BROWN / Getty The 91st Academy Awards are a wrap and there are plenty of shocking winners in Hollywood on Sunday night, Green Book , the much-maligned film starring Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen won Best Picture. Alfonso Cuarón won Best Director for Roma and Rami Malek won Best Actor for his portrayal as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody . But, there was a LOT of black history made at the ceremony, including SEVEN Oscar winners. Here’s a full list of everyone who made a little black history. Spike Lee Lee, after 30+ years in filmmaking won his first Oscar for best adapted screenplay for BlackKklansmen . “Do not start that motherf*cking clock!” Spike said before he began his speech. Speaking to Complex , Brown opened up about his personal issues with mental health and drug abuse while shutting down artists who promote drugs “for entertainment purposes.” “I’ve seen the way music affects these people. A lot of this shit, I wouldn’t have gotten into it if it wasn’t for rap music,” Brown said. He continued, “So, I just wanna let people know that people do take shit literally and you gotta just be careful with what you talk about, if you’re not honest. I was talking about what I was doing. One insider described Lamar as “having no brain activity” whatsoever and another disclosed that his kidneys have failed him. Lamar has been placed on dialysis. His condition comes after a 3-day binge involving alcohol, cocaine and sex performance drugs. We reported yesterday that Khloe Kardashian, the estrange wife of the athlete, gets to make all of his medical decision. It’s an unfortunate circumstance. Much like Bobbi Kristina’s situation, once a person loses all brain function, they can’t recover.
