Ann “Ashley” Doohen is the mother of Adrian Peterson‘s late 2-year-old son, sources close to the family confirm to the site EveryJoe.com. Read on for more details and a first look at photos of Adrian’s son and Ann. Ann took to Facebook early in the morning on Oct. 11 to post a picture of her beloved son as a newborn. Dozens of friends liked and commented on the picture, sending their thoughts and prayers to Ann as her son remained on life support, in critical condition, at a Sioux Falls, South Dakota hospital. Tragically, the toddler, whom several Facebook users referred to as “Ty,” passed away later that day. Several months ago, the boy’s mother had a paternity test done with an ex-boyfriend she believed to be the father, in an effort to collect child support. When the DNA test came back negative, so she contacted the Minnesota Vikings star, with whom she had a sexual encounter several years ago. Adrian Peterson didn’t question the possibility he was the dad, but asked how he could help the situation and planned a trip to S.D. to meet the boy. The running back was supposed to fly out to see them later this month. When Peterson heard the news about the attack on the 2-year-old , allegedly by the mother’s boyfriend, he dropped everything and flew out to Sioux Falls. There, Adrian met the boy for the first time while he was on life support. Adrian Peterson’s Son Dies Peterson been extremely involved in the last 48 hours, lobbying to have the late child’s organs donated to other children in need of a transplant. As for the suspect, Joey Patterson, Adrian has never met him.

Earlier this month, Stan and Claudia Gocman sat down to finally watch the unedited video of their wedding day, following a series of snafus in which photographer Anthony Aurelius first sent the wrong video and then sent one with many important moments missing. So the newlyweds actually shelled out extra money for this special footage, only to recoil when they heard a series of anti-Semitic comments made by someone off camera. Anti-Semitic Wedding Video: Slurs Caught on Camera “Some of the Jewish women are very beautiful to look at,” said a man, believed to be Aurelius. “But I can tell you, they’d be right f-cking cows… they’d be a pain in the arse.” Later, this same voice says the bride is unattractive; Jewish people are “snooty” and not very nice; and he doesn’t “blame Hitler” for the Holocaust. Seriously. Even Mel Gibson shuttered at that last one. Aurelius and his assistant – who is also heard saying Jews are “the meanest people in the world” – evidently left the camera running while they followed the wedding party from the synagogue to the hotel where their reception was held. In response to this incident, Clauda wrote an email to Aurelius, saying the video “completely ruined the memories of our day.” And he actually replied with a hand-written letter in which he gave the couple a full refund and said he has to “look at myself.” Later on, he added an email follow-up and said: “I am very sorry for our stupid, childish conversation. I am also very sorry for offending you and possibly your family also. You did not deserve this. Kanye West was oddly friendly and candid with paparazzi today (seriously, it’s not April 1) even explaining why he pummeled a photographer in July. Kanye West Attacks Photographer ‘Ye said that one thing he didn’t get to mention this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live (one of the very, very few things) was the context behind the fight (above). The rapper says the photographer, Daniel Ramos, set him up, was antagonizing him, and it happened just as he learned his grandfather was dying. Whether this excuses that or his other big “hits” is an open question, but at least he wasn’t talking about being from Chicago and issuing any threats. Other highlights from Kanye’s surprising chat ? Saying he’s misunderstood at times (we think). Fearing North West will have to deal with this. Filling up his admittedly SICK Lamborghini. Telling the paps, “We in this together.” Yes, Kanye really made that last comment, which is even more amazing in light of the fact that one of the douchebags was clearly trying to egg him on. Adrian Peterson’s son has died following an assault, according to reports. Sioux Falls, S.D., police have confirmed that the 2-year-old child of the NFL star. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that the young boy was beaten by the boyfriend of his mother in South Dakota, suffering severe head injuries. Earlier Friday, he was listed in critical condition. Adrian Peterson’s Son Dies Per the family’s request, the state is holding the child’s name, but the athlete’s father, Nelson Peterson, confirmed he was Adrian Peterson’s son . “All I can say is, we are asking for prayers and respect for our family as we deal with this tragic situation,” Nelson Peterson told a local newspaper. How and why did this tragedy occur? That is very much unclear at this time, but authorities believe strongly that the attack on the boy was deliberate. Joseph Robert Patterson, 27, has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery on an infant. According to the Sioux Falls Argus Leader: “Patterson was dating the child’s mother and was the only one home with the boy Wednesday when the abuse allegedly took place. “Patterson called 911 around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday to report the boy was choking at their Platinum Valley apartment.” “But Lt. Blaine Larsen of the Sioux Falls Police Department said it became clear at the hospital that the boy’s injuries were not accidental.” “An examination led doctors to suspect that the boy’s injuries were ‘consistent with abuse and not accidental.'” “The assault on an infant charge involves blows, shaking or causing a child’s head to sustain impact with an object in a manner that causes bleeding or swelling on the brain.” The boy was confirmed dead Friday afternoon. Adrian Peterson, the 2012 NFL MVP, returned to Vikings headquarters Friday. The all-world running back said he would be on the field Sunday. “I will be playing Sunday, without a doubt,” Peterson told the media today. “I really appreciate all the support that I’ve been receiving from fans and the Vikings. He added that “this is a private matter and I would ask you all to please just respect my privacy and not ask at all about the situation at hand.” Peterson also tweeted two hours ago: “The NFL is a fraternity of brothers and I am thankful for the tweets, phone calls and text messages from my fellow players.”
