TRIED IT: This Shea Moisture Rehydration Treatment Masque Is Exactly What Your Hair Needs As The Temperature Drops

Naturalistas : it’s not enough just to shampoo and condition your hair. At least once every 10 days, you should invest the time to give your hair a mask. A hair mask helps replenish your hair and depending on the one you use, can bring your hair back to life. As the temperature drops, haircare for natural girls needs to be turned up. During Winter, your hair suffers from dryness, which can lead to breakage. You’ll want to keep your hair extra hydrated. And while you can add leave-in conditioners, shampoo and condition with products that use honey (honey is a humectant and helps lock in moisture), you can also use a mask that will help with moisture retention. Source: Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Rehydration Treatment Masque / Courtesy of Shea Moisture My new favorite hair mask is the Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Rehydration Treatment Masque with Coconut Milk and Acacia Senegal ($12.99, sallybeauty.com ). I’ve used this hair mask twice as I write this and I am sold. I feel that a lot of products you have to wait a few weeks for results, not with this rehydration mask! I saw results after my first wash. I put the product in my hair and instantly my curl pattern took a liking to it. I can tell when my curl pattern really starts to show up and show out that my hair is feeling the product. Source: Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Rehydration Treatment Masque / Courtesy of Shea Moisture I left this in for about 45 minutes; however, it says to leave this product on your hair for 5 minutes and focus on mid-length strands and your ends (hint: not your scalp). I shampoo’d my hair, conditioned it, then used this product. After I washed it out, I shampoo’d again and conditioned. I stepped out of the shower and didn’t notice that my hair looked shinier and healthier. However, it wasn’t until I unraveled my twists the very next day that I noticed my hair had a whole new life. My hair was hella hydrated and shiny and just looked overall healthy. Why did this product work so well? It has coconut oil and shea oils. Coconut oil is known to add luster and shine to hair in addition to moisture. Shea oils will strengthen your hair and promote growth. Coconut milk also promotes hair growth while the Acacia Senegal will bring vibrancy back to your hair. I was instantly obsessed. Source: Danielle James / Courtesy of Danielle James The next weekend, I tried this product again. This time, I left the conditioner on for over 24 hours (more = better, right?!). The minute I put my hand in my hair (with the product still in it), I noticed how soft my hair felt. Source: Danielle James / Courtesy of Danielle James Leaving it on for 24 hours, some of the product had solidified in my hair but most of it was melted in. I was impressed and happy. I hopped in the shower and washed it out, conditioned and then set out to twist my hair. I decided against using shampoo because I wanted some of the goodness to stay in my hair, so I just rinsed really, really well. Source: Danielle James / Courtesy of Danielle James I untwisted my hair the next day and was SO happy! It was soft, looked healthy, and the definition of my curls were popping. This is undoubtedly going to become a regular in my hair regimen. It just feels and looks fuller and like the moisture really retained. People Rally Behind A Homeless Musician In Los Angeles & Raise $30K In Just 2 Days

Source: Jinna van Ringen Photography / Getty Homeless Singer In LA Gets The Help And Support Of Hundreds Of People Online California has more homeless people than any other state in the country, according to a statistic from the Los Angles Times — and if you’ve ever roamed the streets of Southern California, you’re probably not surprised to hear that. It’s hard to say what brought each and every person into a situation that led them to being homeless, but a lot of people in this situation are subjected to homelessness because of unforeseen circumstances that simply knocked them off their feet. A lot of Californians are understanding of the unfortunate situations that can so easily leave someone living on the streets, and because of this, the public is now rallying behind one musician in Los Angeles to help her get back on her feet. The LAPD sent out a tweet which features a homeless woman singing opera in a train station last week. “4 million people call LA home. 4 million stories. 4 million voices,” they wrote. “Sometimes you just have to stop and listen to one, to hear something beautiful.” So many people were moved by her rendition of Giacomo Puccini’s “O Mio Babbino Caro” that the tweet ended up going viral, which of course prompted viewers to find out her identity in an effort to help. 4 million people call LA home. 4 million stories. 4 million voices…sometimes you just have to stop and listen to one, to hear something beautiful. pic.twitter.com/VzlmA0c6jX — LAPD HQ (@LAPDHQ) September 27, 2019 The woman in the video is 52-year-old Emily Zamourka, according to reports from Yahoo News . The very talented woman reportedly moved to America from Russia 28 years ago and is a trained pianist and violinist who taught lessons to others before suffering a serious health condition. Zamourka always worked several jobs to make ends meet, but once her instruments were stolen, medical bills surrounding her condition started to pile up, and that’s what forced her into homelessness. “I am sleeping actually on the cardboard right now, in the parking lot,” she told the ABC 7 . “I am sleeping where I can sleep…I have people that feel sorry for me, but I don’t want to be a burden to anybody.” After hearing Zamourka’s heartbreaking story, a person named David Tweet organized a GoFundMe page where he collected donations for the woman. Currently, the page has amassed over $28,000 in just two days. The organizer is hoping to generate a total of $75,000 to help Zamourka return to her life and get back into making music.

TRIED IT: This Pre-Shampoo Is The Perfect Detangler For Sensitive Scalps

See more here:

Source: African Pride Moisture Miracle Pre-Shampoo / Courtesy of African Pride If you have a sensitive scalp or extremely dirty hair from just taking down your protective style, you might benefit from a pre-shampoo. A pre-shampoo helps to soften and moisturize your hair before you put shampoo on it. They also help to minimize breakage by increasing elasticity. If you have a lot of product build up it will help loosen and cleanse your hair prior to your shampoo. I was getting ready to put my hair in a protective style, so I wanted to give my hair maximum nutrients. My hair had been in a natural afro for the week, making it a bit rough. The pre-shampoo helps soften the hair. I tried African Pride Moisture Miracle Aloe and Coconut Water Pre-Shampoo ($6.85, walmart.com ). Aloe is great for your hair as it acts as a conditioner and also contains proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp, promoting healthy cell turnover. It also promotes hair growth, which I’m here for. Coconut water is incredibly hydrating and prevents breakage. This is great for when your hair is a bit sensitive. I sectioned my hair in four, then sectioned each section in two (in a layered type of way). I applied the product directly to my dry hair. At first, I didn’t love it. It has a jelly like consistency. However, once I started shingling and really working the product into my hair, my hair started thriving! I finger combed through my hair with the product. My curl pattern was fully defined, my hair was soaking up the product. I borderline considered using this for my wash and go in the future. That’s how much I enjoyed the way my curls looked and my hair felt. After 45 minutes, my hair was soft, supple, and easy to work through with my fingers. This product was great for my pre-shampoo routine and I’ll definitely be using it again. Best part, it’s under $7.00! I love an affordable product that works. Beauties, do you do pre-shampoos? LET’S MAKEUP: Achieve A Romantic Brown Smokey Eye From Brock Collection

Read the original here:

Source: Frazer Harrison / Getty With New York Fashion Week in full swing, we’re looking for the amazing new trends—in both style and beauty—to anticipate for the upcoming season. For Brock Collection ’s Fall 2018 collection, one of the standouts was the nuanced take on the classic smokey eye paired with romantic flows of Victorian minimalism and vintage appeals. Source: Frazer Harrison / Getty Inspired by a pair of suede gloves, makeup artist Gucci Westman knew that she had to recreate the shade in the eye makeup for the show, which was a pleasant surprise given most smokey eyes are darker and more dramatic. However, this look is definitely sultry and great for a variety of skin tones. Here’s how you can recreate the brand’s look right at home: Source: Danielle James / Hello Beautiful Eyes For the suede hue, Westman used a mixture of Maybelline’s Total Temptation (Maybelline.com, $12) and The City Mini palettes (Maybelline.com, $10) on the models. To ensure that your makeup stays on, you’ll want to prep the eyes with an eyeshadow base, like NYX ’s base in the shade ‘ Skin Tone’ (ulta.com, $7). With a soft eyeshadow brush or your finger, you’ll want to gently pack the creme onto the lid, being sure to cover the entire surface without packing on a heavy base. Next, going in with the City Mini palette, you’ll slowly pack the shadow onto the lid, starting in the middle and working your way to the outer corners of the eye. Source: Danielle James / Hello Beautiful The secret to achieving this look is in finding a brown that is not too harsh nor too light, staying true to the warmness of the look. You’ll also want to slowly sweep the product above your crease line, as the look calls for almost an entirely covered smoke. Then going back in with the same color, slightly sweep it into the inner corners of your eye. To finish off the look, take a darker brown from either palette and lightly press it into the outer cut of your eyes. To line your top and bottom waterline, you can take the Maybelline Skinny Gel Pencil in ‘Sharp Brown’ (maybelline.com, $8) and loosely trace your eyes. For an added pop of smokiness, take your blending brush, and with some brown eyeshadow, lightly go over your bottom lash line. Source: Danielle James / Hello Beautiful For deeper skin tones, prep the same as above, but add a white eyeshadow as the base. This will make the brown pop even more. Skin With romanticism at the helm, the skin was light, airy, and free of distraction. Go in with your favorite foundation of choice, using a beauty blender (Sephora.com, $20) to press the product into your skin, specifically targeting dark marks and discoloration. You’ll then want to set your face with a powder, such as the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder in ‘Medium Dark’ (Sephora.com, $38), Beauty Bakerie’s Flour Setting Powder (Beautybakery.com, $24) or even Maybelline’s FitMe Loose Powder (Target.com, $6). To finish the look, add a bit of contour to the hollows of your cheeks using the lighter brown eyeshadow you used to complete your eye look. LET’S MAKEUP: Andra Day’s 2018 Grammys Makeup Look

See the original post here:

Source: Jamie McCarthy / Getty Andra Day stole the show at the 2018 Grammys with a refreshing spin on her vintage look. Ever since she first stepped out on the scene, the soulful songstress has had a fashion and beauty look that has set her apart from her counterparts, only solidified by her powerhouse voice. If there’s one thing we can always expect from Day, it’s old-Hollywood/vixen glam with a spin. Never too much, never too busy. Source: John Shearer / Getty Rocking a classic ‘70s beehive hairstyle and a pink and red Victoria Hayes tuxedo gown, Day’s sultry and sophisticated makeup look for the Grammys gave us all the feels. Not only was her makeup identical to her outfit, but she also showed us that sometimes, more is more! A delightful spin on her everyday makeup getup, Day’s look really is for the girl ready to tackle a night out on the town and isn’t afraid to play with color. Her makeup was done by celebrity makeup by Porsche Cooper . Here’s how you can recreate her look right at home: GLITTERY LIDS Day is quite known for her exaggerated cat-eye; this time, she nixed the heavy liner and instead created a wing with a lilac-purple glittery eyeshadow. Start your eye off with a purple base so your glitter won’t shift and move throughout the day (or night). NYX ’s “Purple Velvet” is not only inexpensive ( nyxcosmetics.com , $4.50) , but also just creamy enough to keep the lid moisturized without tugging or pull. Then top it off with Stila Cosmetics’ liquid eyeshadow “Into the Blue” ( Dermstore.com , $24), being sure to pat the product onto your eye and not drag it. For more of a purple frost like Andra’s, you can pat Mac’s “ Beautiful Iris ” ( Ulta.com ,  $16) onto your crease, slowly working your way up into a cat eye with an exaggerated wing. Be sure to finish it off with lining your bottom lash line with a lighter purple/pink tone (Sephora’s “ Lilac Shimmer ” is a great and inexpensive option) and using a lengthening mascara to make the eyes appear more awake. A RED LIP FOR ALL SKIN TONES  Day’s look shows us that you can have a bold eye and lip look without total clashing, and what woman doesn’t feel like a total #boss in a universally flattering red lip? To achieve the vixen glam, you’ll want to overline your top and bottom lips to create more fullness, either with a red lip liner to create a light ombré effect or with the lipstick itself. Of course, Fenty Beauty’s “ Stunna ”( Sephora.com , $24) is our lippie of choice, offering a beautiful soft matte finish while leaving the lips plump and not dry. Go big or go home! RELATED:  TRIED IT: #TeamBeautiful Tests Out Rihanna’s Stunna Lip Paint Alternatively, you can also rock Maybelline’s “ Red Revival ”, awesome on budget retailing at only $7.50 or the cult-favorite, MAC’s “ Ruby Woo ” ( maccosmetics.com , $17.50) with a light clear gloss layered on top. For any lipstick, you’ll want to start at the inner corners of your mouth and in slow strokes draw the product down and around to create the shape you’d like. For extra hold, pat your lips once with a paper towel to remove excess product and then add a second layer–it’ll stick to the first and give you a longer wearing red. Sara Sampaio Tits Out for Dundas Magazine of the Day

Sara Sampaio, Portugal’s own, who Portugal doesn’t seem to know, but definitely take credit for, now that she’s famous on the Victoria’s Secret circuit, is really not that hot, but good enough for a people of Fishermen.. I have a theory that she was cross-bred in a Portugal lab between Adriana Lima and some other genetics to make her not an official clone, but that’s because I don’t trust the Billion dollar a year company to not invest in human engineering…like they prefer paying real women millions of dollars a year, when they could just invest a billion into the DNA modification and get all the women they want for free…IT ONLY MAKES SENSE… The most interesting thing Sara Sampaio did recently, is complain that a magazine who she shot nude for, posted the nudes photos despite her asking them not to, even though she posted for them…claiming to be a victim of sexual assault, despite being the person who objectified herself, and got naked in the photos, posed in the photos, but when they publish the photos, after signing off on the photos, girl gets mad and hashtags METOO…shut the fuck up Sara Sampaio…and here she is being slutty again, I wonder if she’ll come back and claim sexual assault for these pics being posted…the worst. Ariel Winter’s a Slutty Xmas Elf of the Day

Ariel Winter is smearing her box on some Christmas Boxes because she’s built like the product of some Mrs Clause who got knocked up by one of Santa’s elves because Santa is a pervert into kids, not old bitches, but more importantly, he also likes a good cuckold, you know some “A black dude banged my fat wife while I jerk off”….only it’s more of watching his elf climb up in her…accidentally creating this Ariel Winter, who was raised on Cookies before being given to Hollywood… So Christmas always warms her heart, reminds her of her real parents, not the ones who sold her to the TV network, to be some dancing monkey…and it probably warms the boyfriend she’s got who mooches off her too…he gets to cash the fuck in…since she knows if she pays him off, he won’t leave her like everyone else in her life..trauma. Gigi Hadid’s Hairy Armpits for Xmas of the Day

Along with being a face injected, weird looking, tall girl with way too much hype around her – because her father loves fucking models and wanted a model of his own – and she grew up seeing her dad chase models – and like most daddy issues wanted to give her dad what he wanted, you know to get the attention he gave women, to be the only thing in his eye…typical girl bullshit…but at least she was tall and could pull off the scam. She’s also half arab, and along with the face injected face and the dyed hair, she’s actually a hairy little creature….who is part of some holiday campaign doing some ninja bullshit, kickboxing if you will, because nothing says Christmas like a terrorist training camp…all tactical and ready to go after the Jewish people they hate, but not before they charge them a lot of money to model for them – that she can send back to fund her terrorist camps… WILD. Edgy. Garbage. Speaking of Xmas Sluts – Be Sure to Check My Holiday Gift Guide CLICK HERE The post Gigi Hadid’s Hairy Armpits for Xmas of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Hailey Clauson’s Slutty Christmas of the Day

Hailey Clauson is the spokesperson for some underwear company, or at least their Christmas campaign, and I guess part of promoting the brand involves posting slutty Christmas themed selfies that aren’t all that great, or exciting, really like some Vana White posing in the product, you know car show girl, instead of working the trade show floor, she’s working it, with zero creativity, zero excitement, zero effort, but I guesss you just have to get half naked to matter on social media and the world… A hipster model, who sued a Hipster leader, for slutting her out when underage…slutting herself out while of age, just to matter…interesting how that happens… Speaking of Xmas Sluts – Be Sure to Check My Holiday Gift Guide CLICK HERE The post Hailey Clauson’s Slutty Christmas of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .
