‘LHHMIAS2’ Recap: Pretty Ricky Still Can’t Get Right

Read the original here:

Source: Apega/WENN / WENN Veronica Vega is back on tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Miami . She’s determined to take control of her career after chatting with Polow Da Don. She’s tired of people having the wrong idea about her and wants to move past the controversy of “Pay Me,” the drama with Amara La Negra, etc. Luckily for her, Trick Daddy has taken a liking to her (not like that)  and wants to help. He set her up with an interview with Nore’s podcast, Drink Champs . Later on in the episode, she goes on the show and actually does well despite the fact that they pulled no punches with their line of questioning. Good for her. Bobby Lytes meets with his mom for advice. He wants to know if he should sign with Trina or go with Clear Vision Group. There are pros and cons for both. Trina said she wants to wait on having him sign paperwork and first sees how he does with putting out a single. Clear Vision group is ready to go full speed ahead. His mother says to go with Trina since she’s family and has more experience. Bobby Lytes has some thinking to do. Later on, he decides to sign with Clear Vision. We already knew he’d make the more controversial decision. Trina didn’t even know that deal was on the table. She definitely won’t be happy. Miami Tip had a meeting with Jullian and Amara La Negra and decided to be messy and bring Jessie Woo along. You already know Jessie didn’t hold back about how she thinks Jullian was feeding her ideas to Amara La Negra. Eventually, this ends in drama (of course). Jessie said she heard Amara was going around saying she was going to beat her arse then says that Amara’s mother, cousins and everyone can get it. We all know Amara doesn’t play about her mother so she pretends she’s actually going to pop off on Jessie but that tight Love and Hip-Hop Miami security swoops in and handles that. Then Amara acts all disappointed in herself, talking about how she doesn’t want to stoop to Jessie’s level, but she’s tired of people coming for her. Jullian talks her off the ledge and reminds her of her success and all the good things coming up. Baby Blue reached out to his father, Big Blue, to come back into the mix and whip Pretty Ricky back into shape. That sounds good in theory, but in practice, Big Blue isn’t even on good terms with the rest of Pretty Ricky, including his other son, Spectacular. As a matter of fact, Spectacular didn’t even invite him to his wedding. It’s also important to note that Spectacular didn’t even ask Baby Blue to be his best man. Basically, the rest of the group feels like Big Blue did not manage their money well. So let’s fast forward to the end of the episode. It’s the big chat with Big Blue and the rest of Pretty Ricky. Slick ‘Em start going in on Big Blue about finances first. Slick ‘Em said he’s still financially messed up from the group and doesn’t even have a bank account. Big Blue refuses to take responsibility for that. Then Spectacular chimes in and says that Pretty Ricky never got paid for all the touring they did. Then Big Blue tries to flip it on him and says that Spectacular has been making money off Pretty Ricky’s social media and shouldn’t talk. This is a mess. Spectacular starts yelling at his pops because he wishes he would just take responsibility for their financial ruin but Big Blue doesn’t like the way Spectacular is talking so now he and Spec go at it. These brothers legit threaten to beat each other up and that’s where the episode ends. We know security won’t let this go down but it’s high time for them to get a therapist. Where’s Dr. Jeff Gardere when we need him. RELATED POSTS ‘LHHMIAS2’ Recap: Shay Pops Off On Jojo For Breaking Girl Code ‘LHHMIAS2’ Recap: Trina Mediates A Peace Talk Between Joy And Shay

‘LHHMIAS2’ Recap: Shay Pops Off On Jojo For Breaking Girl Code

Source: Thaddaeus McAdams / Getty Amara La Negra and Shay seem like they’d be polar opposites but tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Miami proves that theory wrong. The opening scene finds them chilling on the beach because they’re cool now, but we all know they’re really here to gossip. Shay brings the messy by asking what’s up with Amara La Negra and Bobby Lytes. Amara blocked Bobby on social media because he’s negative. Bobby found out and was talking smack about her because he was mad. You know how he does! But then Shay starts trashing Jojo too and claims Jojo was talking behind Amara’s back. We all know that Shay is pissed at Jojo for dating Pleasure P. You know, girl code stuff. Amara doesn’t even trip. She said she’s still going to rock with Jojo—at least for now because if it wasn’t in her face then it didn’t happen. As a matter of fact, Amara gets the bright idea to try to get Jojo and Shay on the same page so they can all be friends. This will go swimmingly. Pleasure P meets up with Khaotic and Young Hollywood to wax poetic about…whatever. Khaotic asks Pleasure P about when will Pretty Ricky be performing again. Pleasure P reiterates the same tired story—he and Baby Blue can’t get right so that’s that. Khaotic says the people want Pretty Ricky. But we’re all like, where? Then Khaotic asks Young Hollywood how Amara is doing. At this point, Young Hollywood is tired of trolls in his mentions for all of his ignorant behavior toward Amara last season so he’s trying to make peace now. He says he wishes nothing but the best for her and that he wants to apologize for his behavior so, he plans to invite her to some party that’s coming up. Later on, we find out that Amara accepts his invite and that all seems to be forgiven. They’re all good…for now. But we still don’t like him. Tuh! Trina learns that her assistant has been making shady moves behind her back. Not only has he been going around telling people that he’s her creative director, but he also tried to create a t-shirt line with her business manager. Trina doesn’t have a problem with her team pursuing their dreams, but the shadiness is not tolerated, and he wasn’t even doing good work with her, and he doesn’t even really care. Trina seizes this moment to give us Diamond Princess drama. She goes off on him and fires him, rightfully so. He tries to act like he’s unbothered, and informs her that he’s going to make his business moves and head to the top without her. Mmmmkay. Good luck with being on that blacklist. Trina got the juice. Let’s fast forward a bit. The episode concludes with that Amara La Negra facilitated peace talk between Jojo and Shay. How you think it went? Shay is hostile out the gate, which is typical. Jojo says she could care less that Shay is mad, especially because she feels like Shay betrayed her first by sharing some private information that she once shared, thinking Shay would keep it confidential. We don’t know what that info is but we all know Jojo probably would have dated Pleasure P whether she and Shay were still cool or not. Anyway, Shay and Jojo go in on each other and act like they’re going to fight but that good Love and Hip-Hop Miami security came through and shut that down. Meanwhile, Blue is there watching this entire thing, looking like a messy troll. And then Pleasure P appears (meanwhile, Blue and Amara are talking to Jojo, getting her side of the story). Shay confronts him about dating Jojo so he starts laying it on thick. Pleasure P apologizes for how he treated her and says he should have handled the situation better but then he gets extra and unnecessary when he asks her if she still loves him. Let’s reconvene next week. Same ratchet time, same ratchet channel. ‘LHHMIAS2’ Recap: Trina Flies Off The Handle After Trick Daddy Disrespects Her

Source: Gilbert Carrasquillo / Getty We enjoyed last season of Love and Hip-Hop Miami so much that Mona Scott-Young and company brought it back for the second time! It’s apropos that tonight’s episode starts with Trina. Her deal is that she is having an extremely hard time getting Trick Daddy to commit to buckling down and finally recording their TNT album, which they’ve been talking about forever. This is definitely going to be the hook of this episode, probably the season. Amara La Negra is back and she blew up since we saw her last season. Now she can take care of her mom the way she always wanted to. Then we meet Jessie Woo, comedian, and host. You may already know her from her poppin’ Instagram. She’s back in Miami after doing some work in New York for BET, and we learn that she’s the product of a strict Haitian family. Her mom, who is a minister, loves her but isn’t really into her career choice. Let’s fast forward a bit. Jessie gathers some women from the cast and their moms for a brunch. We all know what happens at these—all gossip everything. We learn that JoJo is dating Pleasure P. Then Amara La Negra’s name comes up. Apparently, Jessie fired her manager, who was also Amara’s manager, but he was (allegedly) feeding Amara all of Jessie’s ideas hence the firing. Then Jessie accuses Amara of flirting with her man. That’s when Miami Tip pipes up with info she got from Keyara that Amara was (allegedly) all up in Gunplay’s DM’s too. These ladies obviously want to have a chat with Amara. That’s going to be interesting, especially since JoJo makes it clear that she’s going to hip Amara to game since they’re friends. The other ladies do not like that, but it is what it is. Speaking of Keyara, she and Gunplay, who have been on the outs lately, come together to see if they can get right. They cannot. Keyara doesn’t trust Gunplay and it’s as simple as that. She believes that he has been having fun with women in his DM’s. Gunplay denies the latter but he does take ownership of making her feel like she doesn’t matter and agrees to give her space. Finally, we’re back on Trick Daddy and Trina. They’re about to hit the stage for a highly anticipated performance, but before they step out Trina wants to have a little chat with him. Trina tells him that he needs to buckle down so they can get TNT together. Trick gets tight because he wants to get into the studio when he says so. He doesn’t really want to deal with this at the moment, or ever, and says they should just get on stage. So, they perform “Take it to the House” It starts off well, and the audience is feeling it, but Trick pulls a sucka move when he notices that Trina is getting ready to perform her own songs. He cuts her mic off and leaves. That sends Trina flying into a rage. She goes all the way off and has a meltdown backstage because she’s tired of being disrespected by Trick. Obviously, the TNT project is over, at least for now.
