American Idol Power Poll: The Fantastic 5

Okay, now the competition can begin! With Lazaro Arbos finally voted off American Idol last night, Season 12 is down to a fitting final five: they are all female and they can all seriously sing. But who has the best shot at winning it all? We reveal our latest Power Rankings below and then ask readers to vote for their favorite… 5. Janelle Arthur – She’s got a great country sound and a sweet personality, but she’s short on pizazz. If she wants to stick around, she needs to step it up. 4. Amber Holcomb – While her performance of “Say A Little Prayer For You” was great, “Love On Top” was, well, not the top of Amber’s game. 3. Angie Miller – This girl has musicianship, an excellent voice, and great hair. She’s marketable like WHOA. If, that is, she can figure out what genre she wants to pursue. 2. Kree Harrison – A total professional, Keith was right when he said her compassion for others comes through in her performances. She’s genuine and sings effortlessly. 1. Candice Glover – Her performances of ” Don’t Make Me Over ” and ” Love Song ” were, just as Randy proclaimed, some of the best in Idol history. This girl could sing the phone book and we would still buy the album.

American Idol Power Poll: The Super 6

Six contestants remain on American Idol Season 12. And Lazaro Arbos is somehow still one of them. With just a few weeks remaining in the competition – and ratings dwindling by the week – we present our latest Power Poll, counting down from number-six to number-one. Can you guess who is holding down last place? 6: Lazaro Arbos : We’re kind of over his nice guy shtick. As the last man standing, he just can’t hold a candle to the girls. In fact, we’re not entirely sure how he’s still here at all. 5. Amber Holcomb : Amber has an amazing voice and legs for days, but she’s not showing much in the way of personality. Just who is Amber? 4. Janelle Arthur : She’s a sweetheart with a throwback twang which definitely makes her appealing, but she’s suffering from the bad song choice plague. In the end, that’s going to cost her like it almost did last week. 3. Angie Miller : The sole wannabe rocker in the competition, she seems a little confused sometimes. She seemed at home on “Bring Me To Life” and has proven time and again, with the exception of “Shop Around,” that she’s definitely got some vocal chops to be reckoned with. 1 & 2. Candice Glover and Kree Harrison : There’s no denying that these two are the stars of American Idol season 12. While they’re goals are different musical genres, these girls can sing anything the producers throw at them. Time and again they’re professional, polished, and awesome.

Rob Kardashian Accused of Robbing Photographer, Ashamed of Body

Rob Kardashian now has something in common with Justin Bieber . Looks? Popularity? Talent? No, no and no. Both celebrities are under investigations for recent actions related to their temper. According to TMZ, Rob went off on a photographer yesterday after the woman snapped a picture of the reality star shirtless. Kardashian allegedly responded by swiping the woman’s equipment and making a run for it, prompting the paparazzo to file a robbery report. The photo agency specifically says Kardashian took its employee’s memory card and promised to return it at some point. Police are looking into the incident. In Rob’s defense (sort of… we guess), he has been open recently about his weight gain and his plans to get back in shape as quickly as possible.

Lady Gaga Cancels Tour Due to Hip Injury, Surgery

Lady Gaga has canceled the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour, one day after announcing that she would postpone four shows due to a hip injury. Live Nation said in a release: “After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip.” “She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour so she can heal.” Initially, shows set for today and Thursday in Chicago, Saturday in Detroit and Sunday in Hamilton, Canada, had been the only shows canceled. Mother Monster’s injury clearly became a bigger issue than before, however, and refunds will be available for tickets purchased as of Thursday. “I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened,” Lady Gaga tweeted. “I’ve been praying it would heal.” “I hid it from my staff, because I didn’t want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last night’s performance I could not walk and still can’t.” “It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this.” “I hate this so much. I love you and I’m sorry.” We hate it too. But please just get well.
