Masafumi Masamoto, Executive Vice President of Sharp Corp. in Japan, stated in a conference that they (Sharp) are one step closer to 3D displays. It was confirmed that Sharp Corp. in Japan will now join the battle of the 3D TVs. They will start selling 3D-capable LCD TV’s in Japan this summer, they believed that 3D TVs will be the next growth driver in the industry. They are proud of having the first “3D TVs that will use the four-primary-color technology, which utilizes yellow on top of the three conventional primary colors of red, green and blue, enabling the TV sets to offer brighter, more vivid images”, but to you need to wear special glasses in able to watch.
