Diddy Come Get Your Boy: G-Dep Pleads Not Guilty To Murder He Confessed To

In case you kids needed a little more proof that drugs make you do stupid things, G-Dep is here to inspire you. Hip-Hop Wired reports the former Bad Boy rapper actually pleaded not guilty after confessing to a cold murder case last month. As previously reported, Dep, real name Trevell Coleman, confessed to shooting a man and fleeing the scene when he was 18-years-old. The rapper claimed he wanted a clean conscience when he came forward 17 years later but did not realize that the victim passed away. The New York Post reports that Defendants generally plead not guilty early in their cases, even if they’ve confessed. G. Dep’s lawyer tells The Post he plans to analyze the rapper’s statements and other evidence to see what charges he believes fit the case.
