Bristol Palin Will Rely on "Hope and Faith" in Wake of Parents’ Divorce

Several years ago, during her run for Vice President of the United States, Sarah Palin mocked Barack Obama for a platform based on “hope and change.” Now, well over a decade later, however, the unintelligent former politican’s daughter says she is gonna rely on hope in the wake of a major life change: The divorce of her parents. On Monday afternoon, Sarah and Todd Palin announced they were splitting after 31 years of marriage. In documents filed in Anchorage Superior Court late last week, Sarah cited “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife” as the cause of the split. In other words: These two are totally sick of being married to each other! We’ll refrain from making any jokes here about how it took Todd so long to arrive at such a conclusion. Sarah, of course, rose to national prominence after she was selected by John McCain to serve as his running mate in the 2008 presidential election. The pair lost to Barack Obama and Joe Biden and then Palin resigned as governor of Alaska after just three years in office, in order to focus on a career in media. She served as a Fox News correspondent for awhile and now… just Tweets sometimes, we guess. But daughter Bristol appeared on Dancing with the Stars and also anchored her own short-lived reality show and then actually joined Teen Mom OG last year. We still can’t believe that happened. On Monday morning, meanwhile, Bristol shared on her Instagram Story a sermon from a Texas pastor called “Abounding in Hope,” a reference to a line in the Bible. It’s extremely safe to assume she did so because she knew that news of her parents’ break-up would soon go viral. “When hope is present, people are encouraged to lay hold of what heaven has for them,” Christian Life Austin Pastor Rex Johnson says in the sermon, from March. “Some have referred to hope as the ‘middle sister’ of faith and love,” he also says in it. “I like that.” Sarah and Todd Palin met as high school students in Wasilla, Alaska and eloped in 1988. They five children together, including Bristol — and Todd is seeking joint custody of 11-year old Trig, the only kid who still lives at home. Bristol, for her part, was also once married. She divorced Dakota Meyer in 2018, however, with nearly every moment Bristol spent on screen as a Teen Mom devoted to problems between the then-couple. Palin quit the MTV show in April , jumping up high on her pedstal and stating: “Teen mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace.. and honestly – my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford… “$ doesn’t impress me, I don’t entertain bs, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me (and my little fam) in the right direction.” As for her fellow Teen Mom stars? “I have love for all the girls on the show, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors!! xoxo, B,” she concluded. Lonzo Ball Shows Off New Tattoo Sleeve ft. Obama, MLK, Malcolm X & Other Black History Icons

Source: Ethan Miller / Getty Lonzo Ball’s NBA career hasn’t lived up to what his dad LaVar Ball hyped up to be yet, but he’s making the most of it. The latest addition to the New Orleans Pelicans via trade showed off his new tattoo sleeve, and it’s a homage to Black History’s biggest icons. The Pelican’s point guard is letting the world know he appreciated all that those before him have down. At the same time, acknowledging there is more work to be done. The tattoo was done by Southern California tattoo artist Steve Butcher who shared the finished product to his Instagram page. The Black History collage features our forever  President, Barack Obama, MLB legend Jackie Robinson, Civil Rights icons Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr.and Malcolm X. For the finishing touch, he also added the late Nipsey Hussle’s favorite slogan #TheMarathonContinues . The entire sleeve is a stunning piece of art with great detail as you can see in the post below. View this post on Instagram Completed this sleeve this week on @zo ! Not Our President: Aubrey O’Day Reportedly Wants Barack Obama To Be Her Sperm Donor

Source: JB Lacroix / Getty Aubrey O’Day Wants Barack Obama To Be Her Sperm Donor According to PageSix , Aubrey O’Day is ready to become a mom — and she has the perfect baby daddy in mind. The Danity Kane singer discussed who she wanted to father her seed: “I would like to do a show about inseminating me with some brilliant man’s sperm so I can have a child. Dream donor, Barack Obama. Because he’s brilliant, classy, kind, compassionate, witty, gorgeous. Everything that a great woman deserves, and that’s why he’s got a great woman.” Former President Obama has been married to OUR first lady Michelle Obama since 1992 and they share two daughters. O’Day hasn’t really dated Barack-caliber men in the past. She’s been linked to the likes of Pauly D and Donal Trump, Jr. So a former President seems out of her league. But we guess you can’t knock a girl for trying?

Prime Sinister: 50 Cent Jokes About 2020 Presidential Run

Here is the original post:

Source: WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE WITH ANDY COHEN — Pictured: Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson — (Photo by: Charles Sykes/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images) 50 Cent is riding his new debt collector persona until the tires fall off. His newest ploy has him hinting as having a future in politics. The G-Unit Records CEO is now alluding to running for office in 2020. He laid out the jig on his Instagram with a mock up presidential advertisement that resembled Barack Obama’s iconic “Hope” poster designed by artist Shepard Fairey. The slogan read “2020 NO ONE WILL EVER DARE OWE AMERICA AGAIN! FOFTY FOR PRESIDENT”. His caption, which included a shot at the current POTUS and his reluctance to reveal his financial earnings, was equally hilarious. “All debts will be paid by Monday, no more loans and no your not gonna see my taxes LOL.”. The image Fifty posted was created by an artist called McVader—peep the original post and his work right here . As for Fofty, this epic troll run stems back to the “I Get Money” rapper having to press television producer Randall Emmett for some monies owed. Once he saw the missing dollars brought out the old Boo Boo, he paid up and quickly apologized via direct message. So quickly he haphazardly mistyped Fif’s name as “Fofty” and at that moment a legend was born. Check out the post below. Nipsey Hussle Funeral Features Tribute from Barack Obama, So Many Tears

Nipsey Hussle was laid to rest in a public and emotional memorial on Thursday morining. Referred to as a Celebration of Life for the late rapper – who was shot to death outside his clothing store on March 31 – the event was held at Staples Center and, following a processional, Hussle was buired in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced on April 4 that Eric Ronald Holder Jr. was charged with fatally shooting Hussle and wounding two others in Los Angeles. Holder allegedly walked up to Hussle, shot him twice, realized he was still alive after Nipsey actually spoke to him … and then turned around, shot Hussle in the head and then ran away to a getaway vehicle. But this memorial was not about mourning Hussle. It was about honoring a life spent making music and inspiring others, as Hussle was dedicated to making the dangerous streets on which he was raised safe for current future generations at the time he was killed. Former President Barack Obama was not in attendance at the service, but he did pen a message to Hussle’s loved ones. It was read aloud and this is what it said: I’d never met Nipsey Hussle, but I’d heard some of his music through my daughters, and after his passing, I had the chance to learn more about his transformation and his community work. While most folks look at the Crenshaw neighborhood where he grew up and see only gangs, bullets, and despair, Nipsey saw potential. He saw hope. He saw a community that, even through its flaws, taught him to always keep going. His choice to invest in that community rather than ignore it — to build a skills training center and a coworking space in Crenshaw; to lift up the Eritrean-American community; to set an example for young people to follow — is a legacy worth of celebration. I hope his memory inspires more good work in Crenshaw and communities like it Michelle and I send our sympathies to Lauren, Emani, Kross, and the entire Asghedom family and to all those who loved Nipsey. Elsewhere, Stevie Wonder sang “Rocket Love” and “Tears in Heaven” — and also gave a speech about the importance of taking action to change the gun laws in America. “It is a heartbreak to again lose a member of our family. It’s a heartbreak because it’s so unnecessary,” the legendary artist said, adding: “We, to be a civilized nation, civilized world, we are still living in a time where ego, anger, jealousy, is controlling our lives. It is so painful to know that we don’t have enough people taking a position that say, ‘Listen, we must have stronger gun laws.’ It’s unacceptable.” Wonder concluded: “It’s almost like the world is becoming blind. I pray that we will grow. I pray that the leaders who have a responsibility to perpetuate life will do it by making sure that the laws will make it so very hard for people to have guns and to take their frustrations out to kill life… “I hope that it motivates us enough to say, ‘Enough of people being killed by guns and violence.’ “I hope that we don’t just talk about it but we be about it — make a difference for our future.” Finally, and perhaps most emotionally, Lauren London addressed attendees. The actress had been dating Hussle for five years at the time of his murder and has a two-year old child with the late Grammy nominee. “Never would I prepare for something like this so bear with me, all,” the 34-year-old actress told the crowd of 21,000 in the Staples Center. She continued through tears: “You’re still the coolest guy in the world to me. Still! I love you so much. Unconditionally. My truth is this. I’m never going to give up on you. My loyalty and devotion is to you.” London later shared a text message she wrote to Hussle after watching him sleep one morning and added: “I’ve never felt this type of pain before but I know that God is alive but bear with me all,” as she read another passage of words she had put together for the memorial… “His soul was majestic. He was the strongest man that I ever knew. A gentle father, a patient leader, a divine light. He was brilliant. He researched everything, completely self-taught, constantly seeking knowledge.” Speaking of their son Kross, London grew emotional at the thought of her toddler growing up without his father. “My pain is from a 2-year-old that probably won’t remember how much his dad loved him,” she said. “This is something that I don’t really understand but I know Ermias always used to say that you can’t possess people; that you experience them. I’m so honored and blessed to experience such a man.” London concluded her speech with one of Hussle’s most well-known phrases. “In Hussle words, because he always used to say this: The game is going to test you but never fold, stay 10 toes down. It’s not on you, it’s in you and what’s in you they can’t take away. He’s in all of us.” May he rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam
