Ashely Benson and her Birthing Hips Lost Weight of the Day

Ashley Benson is another fat chick who is less fat than she was when she was cocky and at her fattest…it’s something that seems to have happened in the last 4 or 5 years, where they’ve been celebrated for their big tits, and the rest of them totally ignored and unnecessary…before eventually realizing that being fat is disgusting and that they have the opportunity to not be fat…and just because america is fat and celebrates fat – doesn’t mean that they have to be fat too… So even with her big birthing hips, she’s clearly been slimming out, and I like to celebrate that…because I am not a fan of fat chicks, save them for the girls we marry not the girls we connect to in TV and jerk off to…so we should give a high five, a keep up the good work, a who cares if your tits are smaller…you still have a pussy and a pussy is the source of the human experience…that looks better when there’s no gut hanging the fuck over it…. Gay NFL Player: Ready to Come Out?

With marriage equality and the Supreme Court dominating news today, rumors are swirling that a current NFL player is considering coming out of the closet, and soon. If a report from Mike Freeman of CBS Sports is to be believed, it would be a controversial and virtually unprecedented move in the world of male-dominated pro sports. Freeman does not name the player, but says if he does come out, he wants to keep playing. He says he’s basing this on interviews with current and former players. Freeman writes, “I’m told this player believes the time is now for someone to take this step – despite the remarks from [49ers defensive back] Chris Culliver .” Controversy arising recently at the Indianapolis Scouting combine, when prospects were asked questions about their sexuality, has proven to be another obstacle. “This player’s true concern, I’m told, is not the reaction inside NFL locker rooms but outside of it. The player fears he will suffer serious harm from homophobic fans.” “That is the only thing preventing him from coming out.” Although there have been celebrated gay athletes – Greg Louganis, Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King, to name a few – most came out only after their careers were over. Freeman states there has never been an active openly gay player in a major U.S. team sport, but in an era of red equal signs on Facebook , is this about to change? We may soon find out.

The Help Trailer: Maid in Mississippi

Recently released stills of Dreamworks’s The Help looked stern, but the new trailer for the film stamps smiles on Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Emma Stone’s faces. But is this film set in early ’60s Mississippi too lighthearted to convey racial tensions without that Blind Side soupcon of condescension?

Would Jennifer Egan’s Pulitzer Prize-Winning A Visit From the Goon Squad Make a Good Movie?

Earlier today, Brooklyn author Jennifer Egan was awarded the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for A Visit From the Goon Squad . Set in New York City (mostly), Egan’s non-linear novel follows a cast of aging, self-destructive characters involved in or around the music industry and has been celebrated by Publishers Weekly , the New York Times and many other literary outlets. Now, Movieline wonders whether Goon Squad should follow in the footsteps of other Pulitzer Prize-winning novels like The Color Purple , The Hours and The Road and be adapted for the big screen.
