Robin Thicke Arrested For Marijuana Possession In New York City

R&B singer Robin Thicke was arrested in New York City this afternoon for marijuana possession. The Love After War singer was arrested after police officers saw him smoking a joint while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade parked near Gramercy Park in Manhattan. The New York Daily News reports that Thicke was friendly throughout the arrest and even took photographs with the cops and signed autographs. Thicke is married to actress Paula Patton and his father is actor Alan Thicke, who is best known for playing Jason Seaver in the long-running sitcom “Growing Pains.” Read more at the NY Daily News. Nicki Minaj is currently in talks to be the opening act on Britney Spears’ comeback tour.  The tour kicks off on June 17th. Enrique Iglesias was previously announced as Spears’ co-headliner but pulled out when it was made obvious that he would be little more than an opening act for the pop star. Sources tell TMZ that the two camps should reach an agreement soon. Nicki is currently on tour with Lil’ Wayne for his I Am Music II tour.  The Weezy tour wraps up in May.
