Source: Thunder Kick Photos / SplashNews / Splash News Vh1 quizzed Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels to find out how much they agree or disagree on parenting questions. Around the 5:14 minute things get a little messy when the pair are asked which trait of Erica’s they hope the baby inherits… Both of them answer with her hair and then Safaree takes things a step further by saying he was shocked to learn that Erica has naturally thick “good” hair and isn’t hiding a net, lacefront, edge control or any of that stuff. We immediately knew some Barbz might take offense to the commentary, but Safaree has dated a few others since his split from Nicki, so perhaps a few others should also be concerned about his digs. Anyway, is Safaree even one to talk ? Doesn’t he have some hair assistance himself?

Source: WENN.com / WENN Karlie Redd Tells BOSSIP About Her Book, Sex Toy Line During the 2019 National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Conference BOSSIP ran into a familiar face. Karlie Redd was on hand for the Author Showcase where she was promoting her new novel “EVEn Exchange.” Unbeknownst to many, Karlie wrote the fiction book back in college and always dreamt of having it read by “Sex Chronicles” author Zane. Fast forward to present day and the famed author’s given Karlie her blessing, not only EDITING it and PUBLISHING it but calling the book that dropped in July a “poignant, cautionary tale.” It’s filled with of course of steamy sex scenes, but also tells the story of a woman named Eve who takes back her power after she seduced by a rich man with a scandalous secret. Each chapter is about Eve finally getting revenge after she’s messily manipulated. According to Karlie, she was shocked when Zane agreed to take on the book and she couldn’t be happier with the end result. Dreams do come true! I’m officially an author, I’m at NABJ!” She also told BOSSIP all about her new Doc Johnson sex toy deal. As previously reported Karlie raked in $300,000 to replicate her a$$ets and seasoned lady bits for pleasure products that “feel like the real thing.” According to Karlie who’s a certified sexologist her toys are all about inclusivity and she thinks women, black women, in particular, should proudly own their sexuality. “I sell all toys for the guys and the girls,” said Karlie. “I got your pocket rockets, your dildos—everything! We especially as black women I feel like we shy away from owning our sexuality whereas men—I seen something today where Blueface said he sex with 1,000 women. So why as women we can’t say, “This is how you suck d***. Lemme teach you so we can have one up.” She also told BOSSIP her top sex tips for women and encouraged women to kegel so they can have “wet sex”. She also stressed the importance of checking the osmolality of lubricants while getting smashed to smithereens. “Be careful of the lubricants that you use, make sure the lubricants are around 285 osmolality.” The certified sexologist is right, lubes with at least a 285 osmolality prevent vaginal dryness as they have the same hydration levels as the cells of vaginal tissue—major key. If you want more sex tips from Karlie Redd, she’s traveling the country teaching sex-courses, check out her social media pages for more info. Will YOU be buying Karlie’s book and sex toys??? Source: Brian Stukes / Getty LightSkinKeisha Talks To BOSSIP About Music, Love, And Atlanta LightSkinKeisha is quick to tell us that she’s excelled as the center-of-attention for a vast majority of her 24-year life. “The girl who y’all see in videos, that’s LightSkinKeisha even as a kid. I’ve always had a big personality, a big spirit, and I’ve been goofy every since I was a baby. My momma used to always tell me, ‘Girl, you used to be walking around in my wigs, heels, dressing myself up in her clothes or my sister’s clothes,’ I’ve just always been full of energy.” Keisha’s early days as an All-Star recreational cheerleader at Central DeKalb in her hometown of Lithonia, right outside Atlanta, Georgia, helped mold her into the type of performer that was always ready for her close-up. “All-Star cheerleading is a whole different type of ball game. You’re traveling, not only that, but you’re always on big stages in front of thousands of people and that’s what kind of made me become a competitor. Flip the page to see more of our conversation with Keisha where we talk about her love life, peers who have clearly been influenced by her style and lingo, her upcoming performance at Rolling Loud in Miami, and what she has planned next.
This weekend millions of people will go see Jordan Peele ‘s brand new film Us , which hit theaters everywhere March 22nd. The movie stars Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o along with newcomers Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Ross . The movie is all about duality and its a theme that plays out throughout the film. I caught up with Winston, and the kids from the film to give you a glimpse at the making of Us. Like Jordan’s first movie, Get Out , US will leave you with a million and 1 thoughts racing through your brain after you’re done watching it. So during my interview with Winston Duke who plays the father of the family, Gabe Wilson, I asked him when the questions start popping up into his brain, he answered “Immediately.” Winston reveals, “I read the script by myself for the first time, because Jordan, when he spoke to me on the phone, said I don’t want to tell you anything about the project I want you to decide if you want to be a part of it and have all of your thoughts unfiltered through me.” He goes on to stay how after reading it for about 45 minutes he thoughts started running through his head but once he got on set, Jordan invited him into this world, showing him drawings and other artwork from what was going to happen throughout the movie. We also talked about the imagery and meaning behind some of the things you’ll see in the film and what’s important. I also got to chat with Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Alex who play Jason and Zorah the kids in the film. Jason got to curse in the film and was scared his mother would whoop him. “I thought am be the same person when I get home or am I going to get whipped out!” The movie hits theaters this Friday, March 22nd, 2019 and take it from me, this is a movie you’re going to need to see at least two times if not more.
