The biggest artists performed live on one of the biggest stages possible last night. To ring in the new year from Times Square, in front of over one million live revelers, Lady Gaga performed a medley of hits “Heavy Metal Lover,” “Marry the Night” and “Born This Way. Justin Bieber, meanwhile, left his own mark on the end of 2011, taking to a stage in the middle of the audience and covering a Beatles classic along with guitarist Carlos Santana. Listen to their version of “Let It Be” now: Justin Bieber and Carlos Santana – Let It Be But Bieber wasn’t done. The artist teamed with Jaden Smith and Tweeted a special gift to followers: this video of him and his hip hopping pal coming together for a track they simply refer to as “Happy New Year.”
