Wendy Bell has filed a federal lawsuit against Pittsburgh-based WTAE for firing her this past spring, alleging that the TV station gave her the pink slip because she’s white. Yes, she has really said this. Back on March 21, Bell (a 21-time Emmy winner) took to Facebook in order to voice her opinion about the March 9 shooting of five African-Americcan people in Pittsburgh’s Wilkinsburg neighborhood. This is what she wrote at the time : You needn’t be a criminal profiler to draw a mental sketch of the killers who broke so many hearts. They are young black men, likely in their teens or in their early 20s. They have multiple siblings from multiple fathers and their mothers work multiple jobs. These boys have been in the system before. They’ve grown up there. They know the police. They’ve been arrested. Bell wrote this without any actual knowledge of the assailants. She simply assumed they were black men who fit this description… which is pretty darn racist, if you think about it. Bell was relieved of her duties nine days after the station deemed her comments to be an ethical violation. In her lawsuit, the journalist complains: “Had Ms. Bell written the same comments about white criminal suspects or had her race not have been white, Defendant would not have fired her, much less disciplined her. “Ms. Bell’s posting of concern for the African-American community stung by mass shooting was clearly and obviously not intended to be racially offensive.” We’re not sure how clear or obvious that is, even if Bell did not mean any harm by her comments. According to the Associated Press, Bell “is seeking back pay, punitive damages and her old job.” Do you think she deserves it? Was what she wrote just a citizen trying to be of assistance? Earlier today, we learned that Charlie Sheen wishes he had used more condoms in his younger years. (In this case, “his younger years” means ages 15 to 49). Now it seems that a few other folks wish he’d wrapped it up as well – namely, all of his former partners and the California District Attorney’s office. For months, there have been rumors that Sheen is facing jail time for lying to failing to inform his past sex partners that he’s HIV positive. Now, thanks to Sheen’s latest interview with Matt Lauer that aired on Today this morning, investigators may have all the evidence they need to press charges against the former Two and a Half Men star. It seems the remark that really grabbed their attention came when Sheen answered a question about his regrets: “I regret not using a condom one or two times when this whole thing happened,” Sheen told Lauer. He went on to admit that there were at least two occasions in which he knowingly had sex while HIV positive, but did not tell his partner: “There [were] two examples, but protection was always in place,” he said. “And it was for the right reasons, because everyone that I had told up to that moment had shaken me down.” Now, Radar Online is reporting that the DA may be planning to press charges against Sheen as early as this week. “Charlie’s admission that he didn’t tell partners about his HIV has the DA chomping at the bit,” one insider tells the site. It seems all they’re waiting on is testimony from one of the several women have already publicly accused Sheen of misleading them about his condition. “The DA’s office wants to go after him, but no one has come forward — yet,” says the source. Sheen says he recently test drove a high-tech, fool-proof condom from Sweden, so his future partners needn’t worry. Perhaps not surprisingly, he also says he’s had trouble getting laid recently.

Amanda Bynes Amanda Bynes alarmed fans by engaging in deeply erratic behavior starting in 2010, insulting other celebs on Twitter and announcing her retirement from acting. She was arrested after throwing a bong out the window of her New York City apartment and her mental health was questioned. Her mother finally assumed conservatorship over Bynes when she was placed on a 5150 hold. 5. Mel Gibson After Mel Gibson was arrested for drunk driving in 2006, the actor unleashed a slew of antisemitic statements against Jews and called a police officer “sugar tits.” Later, Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva released tapes in which he admits to abusing her and makes a number of sexist statements, racial slurs and even death threats against her. 6. As you’ve probably heard by now, Charlie Sheen confirmed that he’s HIV positive last week during an interview with Matt Lauer. Since then, the bad boy actor’s sex life has come under a tremendous amount of scrutiny, and with good reason. Charlie Sheen Allegedly In Explicit Video With Another Man Charlie Sheen already has enough trouble on his plate with his new announcement of being HIV-positive . Noe, despite the fact that he says his HIV levels are so low that it’s undetectable, he’s being accused of spreading another STD across the Hollywood Hills. Apparently, a videotape has surfaced of Sheen showing an unidentified man what that mouth do in between puffs on a crack pipe. The recording was originally thought to be at the center of a lawsuit the actor was facing, alleging that he lured the man in question into a sexual situation and knowingly spread the herpes virus to him. Via RadarOnline : They show the drugged-up former “Two and a Half Men” star smoking a crack cocaine pipe and performing fellatio on a male lover. In a bombshell world exclusive, Radar can reveal that at least three videos were recorded of the thrice married father-of-five. The clips last about 30 seconds and depict Sheen smiling on cameras as he brazenly indulges in the illegal drug. Once high, the Tinseltown train-wreck seduces his male companion before pleasuring the individual with a hardcore sex act. A source told Radar the videos were recorded in Nevada in 2011. However, a lawyer for Sheen stepped out and let everyone know that the freaky flicks in question have nothing to do with this whole herpes case… The attorney in the lawsuit, Keith Davidson, just contacted Radar and provided the following statement. “The alleged video that you purportedly reviewed has nothing to do with the above referenced lawsuit which was filed and subsequently dismissed more than five years ago,” he said, adding, “Though there was video evidence involved in the aforementioned case, that video evidence did not come close to portraying what you have described. Furthermore there was but one copy of that case related video evidence. That sole copy of the video evidence was irretrievably destroyed.” Hmmm…so he says the freaky guy-on-guy video in question was destroyed — but the people over at Radar saw SOMETHING. Either way, pretty explosive news. Charlie is surely going to have it rough the next few months with everyone coming out of the woodwork with his dirty laundry…
