‘Avengers: Endgame’ Sets Box Office Records With $358M Opening Weekend

Source: Marvel / Disney It was expected but  Marvel now owns the highest grossing opening weekend (again) as  Avengers: Endgame   not only became the fastest film to a number of box-office benchmarks, it may well be the biggest movie of all-time. OPENING WEEKEND RECORD:   Deadline is reporting that the film from Anthony and Joe Russo is set to make $358.5 million over its three-day opening weekend and could be even more as Sunday totals are finalized. It already set the single day opening record of $158.3 million on Friday and early preview screenings of $60 million on Thursday. The previous owner of the single-day and opening records was  Star Wars: The Force Awakens which made $119 million.  Endgame  beat that by $39.2 million.  Avengers: Infinity War held the Saturday record with $82.1 million and  Endgame  topped that by $29.3 million. Endgame ‘s Friday outstrips  Star Wars: The Force Awakens’  previous opening and single-day record of $119.1M by $39.2M, and Saturday beats Avengers: Infinity War ‘s previous Saturday record of $82.1M by $29.3M. DISNEY RECORD:  With it’s $350 million-plus intake, Endgame becomes the fifth Disney movie to crack $200 million in its opening weekend and the fourth movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe to do so. The other two Disney movies?  Star Wars: The Last Jedi  and  Star Wars: The Force Awakens . The only non-Disney movie in the top 5 in terms of opening weekends?  Jurassic World in 2015. INTERNATIONAL RECORD:  The film picked up $859 million from international audiences (with China accounting for $330 million) for a record-demolishing $1.2 billion worldwide weekend. That already gives Endgame  the 18th highest global gross ever, right behind the $1.21 billion worldwide finish of Iron Man 3 . Expect the numbers to keep getting crazy as fans go back for repeat viewings. Source: Alexander Shcherbak / Getty 7-Eleven Owner Does Good Deed For Kid Caught Stealing From His Store One 7-Eleven owner wasn’t in a rush to get cops involved when confronted with a theft in his store. According to CBS News , Jay Singh saw someone trying to snag items from his Toledo, Ohio store. “You can see he’s turning here, putting stuff in his pocket,” he said. Singh then told an employee to call 911 while he confronted the customer: “He said, ‘Oh, I’ll put it back.’ I said ‘No, put everything on the counter. I want to see all the things that you have,’” Singh said. Then Singh posed a simple question to the guy: Why was he stealing? “He said, ‘I’m hungry. I’m stealing it for myself and my younger brother.’ I said you need food? I’ll give you food. That’s not a problem,” Singh said. The owner then filled a bag with food for free and he stopped the 911 call. Singh said there was no point in getting the young customer arrested when food was the root issue. “He’s a young kid. That will go on his record that he was a thief. He cannot do anything in his life. He will not get a good job. This will not solve his hunger problem,” Singh said. *Sigh* If only more people could think like Singh. One customer, Cedric Bishop, served as a witness to the good deed. He thought what he saw was so amazing, he decided to share it on Facebook. “There was over 1,000 shares. Brought tears to my eyes honestly,” Bishop said. Singh further explained why he did what he did, saying: “It’s basically our Indian culture that if you give food to a hungry person, that’s considered like God will bless you for that.” Hopefully, all the blessings go Singh’s way and for the hungry customer.

One of the biggest companies to go public is China’s Alibaba….they sell made in china shit directly to anyone, avoiding the middle man….. Most brands use them to source products and find factories and buy shit to re-sell to you. Aliexpress is their consumer site where you can basically by anything from Boats to dildos, bongs to container houses…they legit have everything…. Well, like funny comments or reviews on other sites, whether it’s Facebook, IMBD, YELP, wherever users interact…. ALI brings it far better….in the form of buyers taking pics in their cheap lingerie to show the fit and feel and it’s fucking legendary… Look at some of this shit…brilliant. Newlywed Man And Gang Suspects Charged In Bride’s Death Outside Atlanta Popeyes

WSBTV reports that Michael Dale LaVigne and his wife Alisha Watkins Stephens were involved in a violent robbery at a DeKalb County, Georgia robbery. Investigators report that the couple actually met up with gang member, 19-year-old Carlos Rodriguez, to buy meth at a local Popeyes. Things went left however when Rodriguez who’s allegedly a Latin Kings gang member, robbed them at gunpoint. Shots were exchanged and Alisha Stephens was killed in the gunfire while her husband was shot four times in the head. He survived however and is currently hospitalized. WSBTV reports that despite not pulling the trigger, the husband alongside Rodriguez, and a third man, 29-year-old Juan Carlos Ortiz who’s alleged to have orchestrated the drug deal from jail, are all charged in the woman’s death. The husband’s most recent imprisonment was for methamphetamine trafficking. When asked why she had them, Wu said she had been bringing them back into Taiwan for friends. Wu had confessed that each gerbil had been purchased at a pet store in China for a price of 50 Chinese yuan (NT$220) for each male and 150 Chinese yuan for each female. According to TMZ , actor Stoney Westmoreland of Disney’s Andi Mack was arrested in Utah on Friday for arranging sex with a person he believed was 13-years-old. He was charged with enticing a minor by internet or text, and dealing in materials harmful to a minor. Reports state that Westmoreland contacted the child via an app used for sex, he repeatedly asked for sex acts and nude photos. The Utah State Police and the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force popped Stoney as he was attempting to use a ride-share app to pick up person he believed to be 13.
