Jon Gosselin: Hey, Kate… I May Marry Colleen Conrad!

Jon Gosselin is already a full-time father once again. As previously reported, he has won custody of son Collin and the 14-year old will move in with his father permanently some time in the next few weeks. But might Jon Gosselin also become a full-time husband once again? There is certainly a strong likelihood, the former reality star now admits. “I’ve been with Colleen for four years now,” Jon told journalists at WE tv’s Real Love: Relationship Reality TV’s Past, Present & Future panel on Tuesday in Beverly Hills. He’s referring here to Colleen Conrad, a fellow Pennsylvania resident with children of her own who saw something in Gosselin back in 2014 for some reason. “I’ve thought about [marroage], yeah – talked about it,” the father of eight added. “She’s driven. I’ve known Colleen my whole life. We grew up three blocks from each other. Her sister used to babysit me.” Jon, of course, was married to Kate Gosselin for 10 years. They got divorced in 2009, following multiple seasons of a TLC series that chronicled their seemingly unhappy marriage and their valiant attempt to raise a set of twins and a set of sextupluets. The ex-couple has been at each other’s throats basically every single day since, but the cantakerous relationship recently took a turn for the unexpected. Gosselin filed for custody of Collin and at least temporarily won his case when Kate simply no-showed a court hearing on December 4. “That’s her. I would always go to court, no matter what,” Gosselin said in response to his ex’s baffling decision. Jon has also been spending a great deal of time with daughter Hannah for over a year now, but he does not have legal custody of her. Not yet, at least. Kate is yet to speak publicly on her former husband returning prominently to the lives of her kids. She’s barely said anything about anything at all on social media, in fact. As for when Jon might propose to Colleen? “Just look at my Instagram,” he simply teases for now. “That’s how stories get out anyway, I guess. It’s so funny.” In November, Jon shared a picture of he and Colleen’s blended family, including two of his children: the aforementioned daughter Hannah and son Collin. Also featured in the photo were Conrad’s son Jesse and daughter Jordan. Those are her only two kids. Looking forward, Jon says he’s excited to welcome Collin home after he spent two years in a program for young ones with special needs. Into his home, of course, that is. “It was just easier for the transition,” Jon explains. “So it’d be easier for one parent to just transition him home, and he wanted to live with me, so it was easier to do it that way. Hannah lives with me full time.”

Justin-Bobby Brescia: I’m Glad Lauren Conrad Won’t Harsh Our Vibe on The Hills Reboot!

Everything that’s old is new again, and the  The Hills  reboot is really happening . But Lauren Conrad won’t be taking part in The Hills: New Beginnings , which leads some fans to wonder what it will be like. Justin-Bobby Brescia does think that it will be different — but he says that it will be better without her. Take a look. Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth aren’t returning for the  The Hills  revival. And when  TMZ   asked Justin-Bobby Brescia , he definitely did not sound bothered by their absence. “It’s a good cast,” Brescia affirmed. He then threw some definite shade in Lauren’s direction. “We’ve got all the good people left,” Brescia says.  Wow.  That is indirect, but massively harsh. “It’s gonna be good,” Brescia affirms “Everybody’s happy.” He explains where he believes that the good cheer originates. “There are good vibes,” he says of the cast. He says that if there wrong people were present, they could ruin the experience and the reboot for everyone involved. “When you’ve got s–tty people running around,” Brescia declares. “It creates this ambiance you don’t need.” In other words, he’s saying that toxic people would make for a toxic environment. It’s only been a little over a year since  Lauren Conrad welcomed her first child . She is busy being a new mother. As it happens, she is also worth something in the range of $25 million. Some of her erstwhile costars might need that paycheck enough that they’re happy to hire a sitter (looking at you, Heidi and Spencer Pratt), but if she wants to devote these years to motherhood, she can afford to. She does not need this reboot and she will not be taking part in it. But even if Justin-Bobby Brescia is still nursing a grudge over that time she roasted him over his army boots, she’s not the  only  absentee on his mind. Lo bowed out, saying that she had required “years of therapy” to recover from  Laguna Beach  and  The Hills  the first time around. “Duh,” Brescia says in response. “You could probably see that from a mile away when she first filmed, right?” That’s not exactly a charitable way to phrase it, but he explains why he’s not exactly weeping in her absence. “[She was] never a fan of mine,” he says. “So…” That sounds harsh, and it is, but we can understand why he’s not beside himself. Old feuds die hard, folks. Which is great news when you’re talking about bringing back a classic reality series that helped transform the television landscape. Now, don’t let all of this talk about the  ambiance  of the show’s revival fool you. They’re not actually filming yet. But Justin-Bobby Brescia says: “Everybody’s chatting. Everybody’s smiling.” He summarizes: “Everybody’s having a good time.” That is good to hear. In the mean time,w e imagine that the show is making some final decisions — including their rumored negotiations with Brody Jenner to invite his participation. Here is what we know so far about who is coming back: View Slideshow: The Hills Reboot: It’s Happening!! Who’s In? Who’s Out?

Teen Accused of Urging Boyfriend to Commit Suicide in "Sick Game"

Death-by-text sounds like the plot of a mediocre police procedural episode, but there’s a real criminal trial on the subject right now. Both the victim and the defendant were teens when this took place … this is pretty rough. Michelle Carter stands accused of sending Conrad Roy III, who was her boyfriend at the time and who had just recently graduated from high school, a series of text messages in which she encouraged him to follow suicidal impulses and end his life. The criminal charge is involuntary manslaughter, which might sound pretty steep for a series of verbal messages sent by a teenage girl. But Conrad’s death was very real. And anyone feeling sorry for her might change their minds by the end of this post. She’s being tried in juvenile court, even though she is now 20. Michelle has waived her rights to a jury trial, and honestly, we’re no legal experts, but that sounds like the best decision that she’s made in a very long time. Juries are made up of everyday strangers who are usually no more qualified to render a verdict than, say, a reality star is to become President of the United States. Sometimes, they’re still your best bet, especially if the judges where you live are elected officials or if you want to appeal to a jury’s sympathies. But in this case … it sounds like Michelle’s best bet is the letter of the law protecting her. Some of the texts in which Michelle allegedly encourages Conrad to commit suicide are especially damning. Here’s one: “You’re so hesitant because you keeping over thinking it and keep pushing it off. You just need to do it, Conrad. The more you push it off, the more it will eat at you.” As horrible as that is, that particular message doesn’t end there. “You’re ready and prepared. All you have to do is turn the generator on and you will be free and happy. No more pushing it off. No more waiting.” Like … it’s so hard to read that. It’s even harder to imagine someone sending that to a loved one. The conversation in which it appears that Michelle is actively pushing the already suicidal Conrad to act on his self-destructive impulses and end his life took place across multiple days. And you can bet that the prosecutor is not going to let the judge or anyone else forget any provable detail of the case. In their opening statements on Tuesday, prosecutors argued that Michelle craved attention from her peers, and that appearing to be grief-stricken after her boyfriend’s tragic suicide would satisfy that need. “The defendant needed something to get their attention. She used Conrad as a pawn in her sick game of life and death.” We don’t know if we’d characterize it as a game , but we’re certainly sickened. There are a number of issues at play in this case. First of all, Michelle did not magically make Conrad suicidal. The best analogy for messages or imagery that seem to encourage suicide — remember when 13 Reasons Why was accused of glorifying suicide and being dangerous for teens? — is an allergy. It’s the same thing as with triggers and PTSD, actually. Basically, certain people, for mental health reasons, are specifically “allergic” to certain things. So we could see someone arguing that a person egging on a someone who’s suicidal is killing them just as surely as someone who slips peanut oil into the food of someone with a deadly allergy. They’re not the same, but either the allergy sufferer or the suicidal teenager decided to be that way or can somehow choose to stop being vulnerable. The lack of any physical presence by Michelle during these conversations could make her look less culpable. After trans teenager Leelah Alcorn’s tragic death , many people wanted her parents brought up on charges. They argued passionately that her parents had created a miserable environment for her that caused her death. If Michelle Carter is guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter for sending text messages, then one might argue that parents — with far more impact — would also be culpable. It’s important to remember that many facts of Michelle’s case are still in dispute, with her attorney arguing that she had previously attempted to discourage him from taking his life during previous attempts to take his own life. Suicidal depression is complicated as hell. We won’t know everything until the trial concludes — if then.

Conrad Hilton Steals Rick Salomon’s Car, Gets Arrested Yet Again

Conrad Hilton is only 23 years old, and yet he’s been arrested more times than many people twice his age. It just goes to show you that when it comes to being a terrible, troubled human being with no regards for the law, age ain’t nothin’ but a number. Early this morning, Conrad experienced his latest arrest after a night of bad choices. First, he went over to Rick Salomon’s house and stole his Bentley, like one does. You might remember Rick from his co-starring role on Paris Hilton’s sex tape, but he’s also the father of Hunter Daily Salomon, Conrad’s former girlfriend. Conrad and Hunter dated several years ago, but for the past couple of years he’s been fixated on her — Hunter got a restraining order against him in 2015, which he promptly violated. More on all this in a bit: let’s get back to Conrad’s crazy night. After stealing Rick Salomon’s car, he drove to E.G. Daily’s house and tried to break in. Daily is Hunter’s mother. He was reportedly trying to get in contact with Hunter, but breaking into her mother’s house at 4:00 AM is not the way to do it. It also violated the restraining order once again. Conrad was arrested and booked for violating the restraining order and for grand theft auto charges, and his bail has been set for $60,000. At this point, it’s beyond clear that Conrad has some very, very serious issues. Poor Hunter has claimed that all the way back in 2014, Conrad suddenly became obsessed with her. He began showing up at her home unannounced, and he told her that he would kill himself if she didn’t date him again. She was especially alarmed when he came into her house and “asked if he could please just see [her] before he killed himself.” She also said that he advised her to “get a restraining order, because he can’t restrain himself.” Although she did get the order, he still broke into her home a month later. When you consider all that he put the girl through — and when you throw in that time that he was arrested for freaking out on a plane mid-flight, claiming afterwards that he would have killed a flight attendant if he hadn’t been stopped? The whole family must be terrified. Here’s hoping that Conrad gets help for whatever it is he’s been going through for the past few years — because goodness knows he needs it.
