The Hills are alive with the sounds of… … crying. Both of the happy and frustrated variety, we should specify, because Lauren Conrad just welcomed a brand new baby into the world! The former MTV personality confirmed this blessed piece of news herself on Wednesday evening being an adorable drawing of what we presume to be herself, her husband William Tell and their two kids. “Our sweet baby boy, Charlie Wolf Tell, has arrived!” Conrad wrote on Instagram as a caption to the cool image below. The couple is already parents to son Liam James Tell, 2. The Hills alumna initially shared news of her second pregnancy back in April, posting a sweet photo of her bump and writing along with it: “It’s been hard to keep this one to myself! Very excited to share that our family will be getting a little bigger this year.” Conrad, who has remained mostly out of the spotlight ever since the original The Hills went off the air (she plays no role in the much-maligned reboot) married Tell in a September 2014 sunset ceremony at a boutique winery. She mostly makes a living these days in the fashion industry. A decade before tying the knot and shifting her goals, however, an 18-year-old Conrad sky-rocketed to prominence after being cast on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. This reality show chronicled her and her friends’ lives in their hometown of Laguna Beach, California. This series was then spunoff to create The Hills two years later. After it went off the air, though, Conrad really focused on her family life and the fashion world, never even responding to shade hurled her way by former rivals Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. She really does seem far over all that these days. Earlier this year, meanwhile, Lauren opened up about finding her footing when it comes to parenthood. “Feeling like your quote unquote old self, I think takes a really long time,” she said in her Asking For a Friend podcast, adding at the time: “For me, I would argue it took me at least a year to start feeling like normal again.” We’re guessing millions and millions of women can relate to this quote and the sentiment behind it. Thankfully, the ex-reality star has learned to lean on her parents — and her husband’s family. “There is a lot of pressure to do it on your own and I felt that even with all the help I was like, ‘No, I need to do this all by myself,'” Lauren said. “I don’t know when we decided that that was the way it was supposed to be or set that standard because it’s so impossible. When you’re not sleeping, that’s a form of torture! “You’ll literally lose your mind to the point where I was like, ‘I don’t know if I’m qualified to watch a baby right now. I don’t know if I should be left along with my child. I haven’t slept in three days. I’m so tired.'” We feel ya, LC. And we’re so very happy for you and William! Congrats on the new addition!

Earlier this month, the world learned that it's over between Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter . But when this sneak peek clip from The Hills: New Beginnings was filmed, they were still a couple and shooting down relationship rumors. To their shared frustration, a rumor cropped up that they had once been polyamorous. Is it true? In this sneak peek from The Hills: New Beginnings , Kaitlynn's friend Liz Facetimes her to warn her. Stephanie Pratt has been gossiping about her, Liz cautions, saying: “She’s just, like, asking about your relationship.” According to Liz: “She’s like, ‘I don’t know. Isn’t there someone else, like, involved?’” “What does she mean by that?” Kaitlynn asks, looking amused if anything. Liz reports: “She thinks you guys are like in this, like, polyamorous relationship.” Liz sort of stumbles over the word “polyamorous,” which is a good reminder that some of us use that word more often than others. If you need a reminder, a polyamorous relationship usually involves more than two people in an often romantic relationship. It can mean one person in a serious relationship with two others who know about each other. It could mean eight people who all date all of the others. Brody hears this theory and quickly interjects. “That’s none of her business,” Brody asserts. He continues, saying: “You know, we just, we like what we like.” Kaitlynn then uses the confessional camera to explain to viewers what gave Stephanie this idea. “When Brody and I first were together,” she recalls. “We were young, we were crazy.” “We were, like, you know, basically just trying to have the time of our lives,” Kaitlynn continues. “So,” she informs the viewers. “We did a lot of things in our relationship.” Oh? What kinds of things. Kaitlynn explains that these were hings “that, you know, I certainly wouldn’t say I regret.” Good. Regrets serve little good, especially if you were having fun at the time. But her words could mean polyamory. It could also mean that they had an open relationship or had a lot of threesomes, foursomes, or “moresomes.” Apparently they were content to leave that up to everyone's imaginations. “But,” Kaitlyn expresses. “The level of gossip that I feel happens in the group — it just makes me angry.” That's very fair. On August second, Brody and Kaitlynn announced their shocking split. “Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter have decided to amicably separate,” their representative announced in a statement. “They love and respect one another,” the statement affirmed. “And know that this is the best decision for their relationship moving forward.” Though the two held a well-publicized wedding ceremony in June of 2018, they were never legally married. That makes Caitlyn Jenner's inability to attend her son's “wedding” a much smaller deal. (Also, if he wanted her to attend, he shouldn't have scheduled his last-minute ceremony during Pride Month) About a week later, Kaitlynn was seen gal pal-ing around with none other than Miley Cyrus. “Brody and Kaitlynn separated on good terms and are still close friends,” a source insisted at the time. “Brody is in a great headspace right now,” the insider reported. “And really isn’t bothered by Kaitlynn and Miley’s relationship.” Miley and Kaitlynn have not been trying to hide what they have going, either on social media or at major awards shows like the VMAs. It's interesting, but not necessarily signiificant, that both now-split couples were friends before things fell apart. And Miley and Liam were rumored to have struggled with whether or not to be an open relationship. This clip and this episode are likely not going to do anythign to discourage rumors.
The Hills: New Beginnings star Audrina Patridge is once again having trouble with her unstable ex-husband Corey Bohan . Unfortunately, this time it’s not over something as simple as whether or not their daughter is allowed on camera. She has been granted a temporary restraining order protecting both her and her daughter and accuses her ex of domestic abuse. Not for the first time, Audrina Patridge has been granted a temporary restraining order against her awful baby daddy, Corey Bohan. The order was requested and granted on the grounds of allegations of recent domestic violence. Last week, she filed an emergency motion on behalf of both herself and her young daughter, Kirra. Sadly but notably, this is not the first time that Audrina has had to seek legal protection from her ex-husband. Their marriage ended after less than a year amid domestic violence accusations. According to documents obtained by The Blast , Corey Bohan will literally have to keep his distance. He is required to stay 100 yards away from Audrina, from Kirra, from Audrina’s home, and from Kirra’s school. Until the investigation is complete, he is also denied any and all visitation with his daughter. Restraining orders can feel like a hollow gesture, especially when taken out to prevent brutal violence. But we hope that this is enough to keep Audrina and Kirra safe. The majority of the details of the restraining order have been sealed by the court. However, we do know the most recent incident of alleged abuse. Audrina lists that as “May 2019, continuing to present.” Additionally, Audrina is seeking full custody of Kirra. It is unclear whether mother, daughter, or both are said to be the primary targets of violence in this case. Even with much of the information sealed, it seems likely that further details will come out as this case continues. Corey Bohan has already had the nerve to address this on social media. Taking to his private Instagram, Corey seemed to suggest that he plans to fight Audrina in court. “Keyword TEMPORARY,” he wrote. Corey then added a chilling: “to be continued …” You know, a lot of alleged abusers get described as master manipulators who make themselves seem kind an innocent to the rest of the world. Meanwhile, Corey’s message sounds vague but a little menacing. He might as well have written ” that won’t protect you forever! ” Corey has certainly managed to make life difficult for Audrina, even in ways not involving alleged violence. The Hills: New Beginnings began filming in late 2018. At the time, Corey was adamant that Kirra not have any role in filming. This wasn’t just something that he demanded — he got a court order to that effect. This spring, however, it was revealed that he had “somehow” changed his mind … after Audrina refusd to sign their divorce papers until he gave the go-ahead for Kirra to film. We do not know the context in which the most recent domestic violence allegedly took place. This is very upsetting to hear — for Audrina’s sake but especially for young Kirra’s. Kirra is only three years old. We hope that the investigation and the court’s conclusions will reflect justice and the safety of Kirra. Investing time in a TV show is no small task. As such, it's not too much to ask for a conclusion that feels not only warranted but bittersweet. Sadly, that thought was lost on the creative forces behind these shows because the final episodes sucked. Hard. Have a look below to find out just what we're talking about here. 1. Game of Thrones Daenerys went all Mad Queen, so her lover/nephew took it upon himself to end her reign. As Dany embraced Jon, he stabbed her. Drogon retaliated by not burning Jon to smithereens. Instead, the creature melted the Iron Throne, before picking up his mother’s corpse and flying away. Oh, and Bran who will always be remembered as that kid with white eyes who mumbled for eight seasons was made King. 2. True Blood Sookie killed Bill because it hurt him that she couldn’t live a normal life or something. She moved on with some random dude several years later and seemed happier than she’s ever been. It was like the previous seven seasons did not exist. Slap in the face? Totally. 3. How I Met Your Mother The whole show was about a dude telling his kids how he met their mother. After meeting the said mother, she was killed off in the series finale. In essence, the previous nine seasons were a waste. Even Barney and Robin didn’t get their happy ending. AWFUL. 4. Dexter Dexter bumped off his sister, left his son to be raised by a serial killer. The biggest kicker? Dexter became a lumberjack. We could argue that he could put his knife skills to good use, but the finale was utter nonsense. Even worse, some fans are still calling for a revival. Just leave Dexter to play with his wood. Pun intended. 5. Lost Lost was a groundbreaking series that kept viewers glued to the screen for six whole seasons. Early into the show’s second season, fans started to wonder whether the characters were dead and stuck in limbo. That was vehemently denied by everyone associated with the show. So, you can imagine how viewers felt when the series finale confirmed our heroes were, indeed, dead. 6. Gossip Girl On paper, the series finale was great. Chuck and Blair got married, and Dan and Serena got married. Shippers got their wishes, but the fundamental issue with the final installment was that Dan was revealed to be Gossip Girl. Though it’s property of Mexico, Cabo is located at the tip of California and has beautiful beaches and waves perfect for those that like to surf. This destination is very popular amongst Californians and a luxury vacation destination for Mexicans. If you love Vegas, you will love Cabo. Cabo is more for poolside posing, with most of the resort beaches being too rough to actually go swimming. The resorts are gorgeous and each one has there own special thing to offer. If you are more of a go with the flow type of individual, there are some important things to know in advanced regarding your trip to Cabo. I’ve also added some of my personal “must do’s” when you are on the island. YOU DON’T NEED PESOS Source: Laura Reid / Getty I had a layover in Mexico City and was planning to take a taxi to the resort and meet my girlfriend. I changed about $80.00 USD into pesos to make sure I could cover the cab. I had been to St. Maarten the week before and there were no Ubers and the taxi’s only took cash, so I wanted to make sure I had some on hand. I arrived in Cabo International Airport and everything was in USD (also pricing in pesos). I was able to secure a shuttle for $17 USD to the resort. Your resort will want to charge everything to your room and most places take credit cards, so you don’t have to carry a ton of cash. THERE IS A LOT OF SECURITY The interesting thing I found regarding Cabo is how much security there is. When entering a resort, even through an Uber, they take your name, the license plate, the name of the driver, and where you are coming from (or going). I went with two of my girlfriends and at no point did I feel in danger. We went out downtown and even as we were trying to cross a busy street, security popped out of nowhere to help. While I did feel safe, this overabundance of security made me wonder just what I was being protected from . IT’S A GROUP THING Source: Ruth Cenat / Courtesy of Danielle James There are some places that are great for solo travel and then there are some that are better for groups. Cabo isn’t a solo vacation type of place. You can feel safe going there with friends or family; however, I don’t recommend going to Cabo alone, only because it’s so many groups that you might not meet people. During Memorial Day Weekend we saw couples, families, and one bachelorette party. I was a bit disappointed as I hoped to meet more people, but I had a great time with my girls. IT’S RESORT DRIVEN The resorts are set up so you never feel the need to leave. There were several places we went to dinner and they were all placed on other resorts. I found it surprising that there wasn’t more advertisement for good food in stand alone places that weren’t adjacent to a resort. I would highly recommend the two we stayed at: Sheraton x Garza Blanca . The Sheraton had great food and an old world feel. The resort is absolutely beautiful and if you are looking for a wedding location, the courtyard of this place would be gorgeous. It was also the only resort where I saw people surfing. The resort was lively with lots of guests ranging from families to couples and friends. The room was incredible. We stayed in a duplex and each room minus the top floor had it’s own balcony or balcony access. The hotel opened in January so is currently having a “soft opening” through the Summer. If you want a bit of a discount yet a luxury stay, definitely check this out. With Garza Blanca, it’s about 15-20 minutes from downtown so you aren’t in Cabo directly, but not far from the action. At time of publication, the spa has yet to open and they are still building the other half of the property. However, the pools are nice (and heated!) and we had a great time taking advantage of the cabanas directly on the beach. We stayed in an “ultra suite” which was absolutely gorgeous. It had a jacuzzi, a wrap around balcony, and each room had it’s own shower and bathtub. Online, this room is running for a little over $500/night, but worth it amongst friends. As mentioned, most things happen at other resorts, so we also visited Pueblo Bonito resort. This resort is huge, consisting of actually 3 properties in one. Monte Cristo, which is up in the hills and consists of villas. Then there is Sunset, which is the largest of them all and hosts everyone, and Pacifica, which is adults only and down on the beach with a little over 100 rooms. This resort was fantastic and the most inclusive out of all the resorts I visited. Because the spa wasn’t finished in my hotel, I visited the spa here and boy was it an experience! WHERE TO EAT Source: Danielle James / Courtesy of Captain Tony’s The best place I ate during my stay was at Captain Tony’s, which is downtown right on the marina. I went on a Friday night where there was a live band and an even livelier staff. We did get a bit lost in the Uber. You literally have to get out of the car and walk on the dock to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is right on the dock making it great for both people and boat watching. The drinks were great and they have something for everyone including strong mixed drinks, a bevy of beers, and frozen drinks that put Wet Willie’s to shame. Another cool thing about the restaurant is that it also services boats with food who are heading out for the day. Also, whatever catch you bring back to shore, Captain Tony’s will cook it up right for you! This restaurant should be on everyone’s radar in Cabo. It’s great for families, couples, whomever! Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with the food in Cabo San Lucas. We went to the El Farallon. Everyone raved about this place. The views are incredible looking over a cliff. The experience is first class. You essentially pick your meal out before you even sit down and the first stop is the champagne bar. I would do this place for drinks, but not again for dinner. The food was bland and underwhelming for the almost $200.00 price tag/person. WHERE TO RELAX If you get bored of bountiful beach views or grow tired of lounging by the pool, you might want to think about booking a spa service. Remember when I discussed visiting Pueblo Bonito resort? Well, their spa is known as being one of the best in Cabo San Lucas and it didn’t disappoint. Source: Ruth Cenat / Courtesy of Danielle James The property is massive and walking to the spa, the minute you enter the grounds, you can feel the energy shift to one of relaxation and good vibes. There is a garden like area with a fountain and to the right is Armonia Spa . The general manager explained, “Our main purpose is that your guests experience the spa circuit, facilities and services we offer. They will feel pampered from check in until they finish their service.” You walk into the spa and check in. To the left, there is an area where you can buy products. They have skincare items and also great aromatherapy items. My friend bought several room sprays. They have lots of organic and multi-treatments for guests. The general manager explained, “We developed the Organic Collection from the beginning and test every product. We started with the 3 Body Rituals and then we continued with teh facial, manicure, pedicure, and massage. The line was developed for a wellness purpose, the ingredients help the body, mind and spirit and offer an emotional and spiritual healing.” For my actual treatment, I got the Detoxifying Organic Ritual. I have only had one body scrub before and this gives you a body scrub and a massage all in one. The session begins with an exotic exfoliation featuring dead sea salts, juniper, laurel and jojoba essential oils that help leave your skin smooth and silky. Then a honey and aloe mask is applied to help with the detoxification and after you are all cleansed and washed you move into another room for a reductive and anti-cellulite massage. It was one of the most lovely experiences ever and I felt relaxed for days to come. They use quality ingredients and give your first class service from the minute you step into the spa. I’d recommend this spa whether you are staying on the property or not. You simply have to call to make an appointment. Afterward, I went back to the market hall at Sunset and had a lovely afternoon meal. Overall, Cabo San Lucas is a trip to go if you just feel like staying on a resort or relaxing with friends. I think this would make a great couples trip as well. It is beautiful, but a beautiful beach where you can’t swim in the water? That’s not my idea of a vacation. Cabo is expensive so be prepared to spend money. It’s also designed for you to stay on your resort so you have to make it a point if you want to jump around. There are also no direct flights from NYC, so the layover in Mexico City made for a longer travel experience. The travel length combined with the cost and the extra safety (I like to feel safe enough to go off the beaten path), hasn’t made Cabo a place I would necessarily go back. I would want to visit restaurants that locals go to and do activities off the beach, but it’s not that kind of town. If you are more mature and just want a relaxing vacation, Cabo is definitely for you. If you are a couple and just want some relaxation and alone time, Cabo would be a great vacation. While rumors say that Kate Middleton resents Meghan Markle stealing her spotlight , it turns out that Meghan has gotten on the last nerve of others in the Palace. Meghan and Harry lost three of their employees in a very short time. A report says that Meghan may be causing this “stampede” with her insistence on following her own path instead of royal protocol. According to a report by the Sunday Express , Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s household has lost yet another staffer. Samantha Cohen was the couple’s private secretary. She has now departed from the post. She was preceded in that job by Edward Lane Fox, who also left that position by his own choice. And on Saturday, someone walked out who worked even more closely with Meghan. Meghan Markle’s personal assistant was known only by “Melissa.” Melissa has spent the past six months at Kensington Palace with Meghan. Among her duties was having a very direct role in key elements of preparing for the Royal Wedding in May of this year. Well, Melissa has now reportedly resigned. Some have interpreted the loss of three members of the Royal couple’s staff as a sign that something is wrong. According to how a source characterized matters to the Sunday Express , this is very unusual. “To lose one member of the household could happen to anyone,” the insider admits. Two is happenstance. But three? “To lose three in a few months is starting to look like a stampede,” the source says. Maybe that is a little dramatic, but that does seem like a lot of turnaround for one couple’s household, right? So … what’s sending these staffers running for the hills? Allegedly, Meghan Markle’s independent attitude is driving away the household staff. As an actress, Meghan was a public figure long before she began dating Prince Harry. And, like most humans, she has a personal sense of style. She remains dedicated to that style even as a duchess, and is resistant to certain Royal traditions that would dictate how she should dress. Meghan wants to dress like herself. She doesn’t feel a need to be dressed in outfits that are virtually identical to those worn by Duchess Kate. We are meant to believe that Meghan’s sense of autonomy is viewed as “tiresome” by household staffers. In June, Meghan wore an off-the-shoulder blush colored Caroline Herrera gown to attend the Trooping of the Colour event. (Gosh, Britain has goofy names for things) She has also worn purses whose straps cross the body rather than a simple clutch. Additionally, Meghan didn’t wear pantyhose for the engagement announcement. All of that is beautiful and even stylish, but flies in the face of stuffy Royal traditions. We’re not sure what to make of these reports. Meghan seems to be a genuinely likeable person. The narrative that she’s “difficult” and resistant to conforming to expectations is tempting, because she’s an American, but that doesn’t mean that it’s true. And it’s difficult to imagine that Meghan and Harry’s secretaries are so personally offended that Meghan’s formal attire isn’t boring enough that they quit.
