Police Commissioner Vinod Lokhande said the blast occurred around 3 this afternoon and two floors of the three-storeyed Saptashringi Apartment building came crashing down due its impact. The nature of the blast – whether it was a gas cylinder explosion or caused by an explosive device – is being investigated, Lokhande said.
