Texas Cop Assaults Hispanic 8th Grade Girl A Texas officer was caught on tape striking a 14-year-old girl in the face multiple times before putting her in cuffs outside a San Antonio Quinceanera party. The girl on the video was taken into juvenile detention on a criminal charge of assaulting a public servant and was released back to her parents on Monday. According to My San Antonio , the girl’s lawyer explained that the girl is an honor-roll student at her middle school with no history of violence on her record, and it’s plain as day that she did NOT assault the officer. House said one officer can be seen in the video “clear as day” striking the girl. The cop in question arrested the girl for assaulting an officer, but the video does not appear to depict the young girl raising her hands to him at all before catching two or three fists from the grown man to her face. SMH!!! Texas is really becoming a hotbed for this shady cop activity . Sadly, incidents like this one aren’t even shocking anymore. Tamar Braxton Defends Julianne Hough Halloween Costume: Totally Not Offensive!

Forget Snickers or Mars Bars this Halloween. Tamar Braxton says there’s something aside from candy some folks need to take during this holiday season: a chill pill. The singer appeared on VH1’s The Big Morning Buzz yesterday and was asked about the controversy surrounding Julianne Hough’s Halloween costume . Was Tamar, as an African-American, offended by the dancer donning blackface in order to resemble a character from the show Orange is the New Black? Julianne Hough Blackface Please, Braxton said! Comparing Hough’s appearance to more of a “spray tan” than blackface, Tamar said critics need to calm the heck down. “I think people are on team too much right now, cause it’s Halloween, and you should go dressed as you want to,” she said. “Would you be offended if I wore a conehead and painted myself white? I mean, it’s not like you are trying to be racist or offensive or anything like that.” This is the opposite view from that of Wendy Williams, who called Hough out this week for being ignorant and somehow even brought her Mormonism into it . “You’re drunk by the time you figure out who people are,” Braxton said of Halloween. “It’s not that serious. And what she looks like is definitely not offensive to me. I mean, I wouldn’t think nothing of it.” Hough has apologized profusely for offending anyone and her brother, Derek, said this week that Julianne is “mortified” by the controversy. “She’s my little baby sister and she’s the sweetest thing ever,” said Derek “She is just beyond beside herself. She’s so apologetic… She’s so so sorry. Obviously, it wasn’t her brightest moment in her life, but hopefully we can move on.” Where do YOU stand on Hough’s costume?   So funny! So wrong! Chris Brown to Spend Three MONTHS in Rehab For Anger Problems?

Chris Brown will spend up to three months in treatment for his anger issues as he looks to get a handle on his temper, according to a new report. There has been no firm decision on a precise duration of time Brown will stay in rehab (he’s at a Malibu, Calif., location) but three months is a good bet. Everyone in Brown’s camp, including Chris, is open to that length of time . Sounds like it’s serious, too, even if it is largely a play to avoid prison. “The rehab facility has been told to take him [Brown] apart and put him back together,” a source close to the constantly embattled singer tells TMZ. Chris Brown checked into rehab last night, specifically to seek treatment for his anger problem, which manifested itself Sunday morning when he was arrested. He allegedly punched a guy in the face for photobombing him and/or trying to get on his tour bus, and spent a day and a half in a jail cell as a result. The 24-year-old was eventually cut loose and the charge was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor. He is due back in court Monday, November 25. For this particular fight, he will not be given jail time. But even a lesser conviction or merely a criminal charge could trigger a violation of his probation. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, knows it’s likely that a judge will revoke Brown’s probation for beating Rihanna , which could put him behind bars. It’s undoubtedly strategic, but the rehab move is an act of good faith, showing Brown is dealing with his problems, and hopefully he takes it seriously. Otherwise, it’s just a matter of who gets beaten up next and when. Karrueche Tran is standing by her man for now, but he’s running out of second chances. Chris Brown: Should he go to jail?   Yes. The Associated Press reports the “Jersey Shore” breakout star, who was in court Wednesday, was fined $500 and ordered to perform community service after she pled guilty to disturbing New Jersey beachgoers. Judge Damian G. Murray lectured Snooki, calling her a “Lindsay Lohan wannabe.” The 22-year-old reality starlet was arrested July 30 for public intoxication. She has since apologized, and was credited by the judge for the day of community service she spent caring for abused animals at a zoo. “Going through life rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent — that’s not the way you want to live your life,” the judge said while delivering her sentence. “Hopefully, this incident will impress upon you that there are consequences to your actions.” Snooki tells People magazine the judge’s comparison to Lohan missed the mark. “I definitely thought it was harsh,” she told the magazine. “I never drank and drove, I don’t do drugs — I do nothing that Lindsay does, so it was definitely a little overboard.” With that said, Snooki’s ready to move on. “I’m just really happy that it’s over and that the criminal charge was dismissed because that was just insane,” she says to the magazine, referring to the disorderly conduct and criminal annoyance charges. “I was really nervous about it. … That was crazy for me.” Snooki and her “Jersey Shore” castmates will be presenters at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.
