Yesterday (Nov. 3), Sutton Tennyson was shot and killed in his home in Atlanta.  Tennyson would have been 38 on Nov. 5. Although it was initially reported to be a home invasion, Tennyson was shot while in his garage after getting into an argument with an unidentified man. CBS 46 reports he was shot multiple times in the garage of his home in SW Atlanta, GA. The gunman fled the scene. Simmons, who was once engaged to Tennyson (they called off the pending nuptials in 2017), took to Instagram to honor her son’s father and namesake. “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift . I’m hurting . I’m numb. Thank you for the out pouring of love everyone . I cant believe I’m even saying Rest In Peace Sutton . I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise ,” she wrote as the caption to a series of photos of their family. Rest in power.

The Memphis rapper, 32, is currently hospitalized after being shot “multiple times” outside of an L.A. shoe store. Texas Cop Assaults Hispanic 8th Grade Girl A Texas officer was caught on tape striking a 14-year-old girl in the face multiple times before putting her in cuffs outside a San Antonio Quinceanera party. The girl on the video was taken into juvenile detention on a criminal charge of assaulting a public servant and was released back to her parents on Monday. According to My San Antonio , the girl’s lawyer explained that the girl is an honor-roll student at her middle school with no history of violence on her record, and it’s plain as day that she did NOT assault the officer. House said one officer can be seen in the video “clear as day” striking the girl. The cop in question arrested the girl for assaulting an officer, but the video does not appear to depict the young girl raising her hands to him at all before catching two or three fists from the grown man to her face. SMH!!! Texas is really becoming a hotbed for this shady cop activity . Sadly, incidents like this one aren’t even shocking anymore.
