Go Figure! Author Of ‘How To Murder Your Husband’ Charged With Murdering Her Husband

Woman Who Wrote About Killing A Spouse Charged In Husband’s Death An Oregon novelist who once penned an essay titled “How To Murder Your Husband” has been arrested for—surprise—killing her husband. Somehow, her in-laws are “in shock” over the whole ordeal, but clearly, everyone should’ve seen this coming . Nancy Crampton Brophy was taken into custody on Sept. 5 for murder and unlawful use of a weapon in the death of her spouse, Daniel Brophy , the Washington Post states. She was reportedly arraigned the following day and ordered jail without bail. She has not entered a plea at this time. According to the site, the 68-year-old author had a ton of hypothetical instructions for readers when it came to knocking off a spouse: “She advised against hiring a hit man to do the dirty work — ‘an amazing number of hit men rat you out to the police’ — and against hiring a lover. ‘Never a good idea.’ Poison was not advised either, because it’s traceable. ‘Who wants to hang out with a sick husband?’ she wrote.” She also wrote a book about a woman who spent every day fantasizing about killing her husband and another, in which the wife escaped her abusive husband by faking her death. Meet Brophy in the clip up top.

T.I.: Out of Prison, Back in Halfway House!

Rapper T.I. is – for the second time in three weeks – out of prison and on his way to a halfway house to complete the remainder of his sentence. Hopefully they don’t yank him back this time. T.I. was released August 31, having served nearly all of an 11-month sentence for violating probation, only to be returned to prison after allegedly failing to disclose – and conducting business on – a pimp ass tour bus that he rolled out in. When T.I. walked out of the Arkansas federak prison on August 31, he tweeted, “The storm is over & da sun back out.” Well, it wasn’t out for long. Prison officials sent U.S. Marshals to the halfway house after that concluding T.I. had unauthorized people on the bus that transported him there. Authorities also allege that T.I. was doing business on the bus (regarding his reality show), something he denies, but would compromise his release. Yeah, it was a bizarre situation, but it’s apparently been resolved. T.I. will be in the halfway house until September 29, then freed altogether. T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, lauded the decision, saying: “We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights.” “By providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information,” T.I. proved that he “did not intend to violate his transfer furlough.” The rapper never intended to violate this “or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.” Sadow adds that, “T.I. will be released from custody on Sept. 29, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of 1 year.” [Photo: Fame Pictures]
