Leah’s Lemonade: Ty Dolla $ign Indicted On Drug Charges in Georgia

Ty Dolla $ign is in some legal hot water. The singer might be going to “prison prison” after being indicted on multiple felony drug charges. The singer was indicted with three counts, Possession of cocaine, possession of THC, and possession of marijuana. The Paranoid singer could face up to 15 years in prison for the charges. He was pulled over earlier this year in in Fulton County, GA  where drug laws are way stiffer than Cali. One of the singer’s reps told TMZ…”[Ty] understands from his attorney Steve Sadow that the indictment in Fulton County, Georgia is merely the next mandatory procedural step in the process of resolving Ty’s case in that particular criminal justice system, and one more step closer to finally bringing this matter to a close. It was expected by Ty’s legal counsel and came as no surprise whatsoever.” The rep added, “Ty maintains his innocence and there is no indication to the contrary. It’s also very important to note that Ty’s jewelry and cash seized from him upon his arrest in September 2018 was ordered returned to him last week … another clear sign that this matter is coming to a close soon.” If you want to here this and who else declared themselves the King of R&B listen to Leah’s Lemonade on the video above.

T.I.: Out of Prison, Back in Halfway House!

Rapper T.I. is – for the second time in three weeks – out of prison and on his way to a halfway house to complete the remainder of his sentence. Hopefully they don’t yank him back this time. T.I. was released August 31, having served nearly all of an 11-month sentence for violating probation, only to be returned to prison after allegedly failing to disclose – and conducting business on – a pimp ass tour bus that he rolled out in. When T.I. walked out of the Arkansas federak prison on August 31, he tweeted, “The storm is over & da sun back out.” Well, it wasn’t out for long. Prison officials sent U.S. Marshals to the halfway house after that concluding T.I. had unauthorized people on the bus that transported him there. Authorities also allege that T.I. was doing business on the bus (regarding his reality show), something he denies, but would compromise his release. Yeah, it was a bizarre situation, but it’s apparently been resolved. T.I. will be in the halfway house until September 29, then freed altogether. T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, lauded the decision, saying: “We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights.” “By providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information,” T.I. proved that he “did not intend to violate his transfer furlough.” The rapper never intended to violate this “or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.” Sadow adds that, “T.I. will be released from custody on Sept. 29, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of 1 year.” [Photo: Fame Pictures]
