Cop Charged In Jordan Edwards Killing Officer Roy Oliver, the cowardly cop who opened fire on a car full of teenagers on “suspicion of underage drinking,” ultimately killing 15-year-old Jordan Edwards , has been charged with murder. A warrant was issued for Oliver’s arrest on Friday, noting that he “intended to cause serious bodily injury and commit an act clearly dangerous to human life that caused the death.” Oliver, who had a sordid past in his career as a cop and was subsequently fired by his department after news of the killing went national, surrendered to police and was formally arrested later in the day. If you’ll recall, Oliver originally showed up to the party Edwards and his friends were attending based on some reports of underage drinking going on at the home. For no real reason, he opened fire on the car full of children as they were leaving the scene, striking and killing Edwards in the passenger seat. The fact that he was actually charged with a crime is all well and good…but we really need to see a conviction this time around. Dallas County Police

Really ?!? Texas Teacher Bribes Student With Good Grades For Sex Via The Smoking Gun reports: A Texas high school teacher charged with having sex with a female student gave the girl a “written contract” stating that he would give her a grade of at least 85 in his English class if she kept quiet about their relationship and steered clear of his wife, a fellow teacher at a Dallas-area school, police say. Investigators allege that James Quigley, 34, twice had sex with the girl in her bedroom earlier this year, and sent her a series of inappropriate e-mail and text messages that commented on her looks and noted that they could be “friends with benefits,” according to probable cause affidavit. Quigley, seen at right, was arrested Thursday night on two felony counts, sexual assault and maintaining an improper relationship with a student. He remains locked up in the Dallas County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. Police began investigating Quigley last week, when the girl’s mother contacted cops to report that the teen was being harassed by the Richardson High School educator. The teen told police that Quigley showed up at her residence earlier this year “with a hotdog for her dog.” When the girl opened the door, the teacher “hugged her and kissed her forehead” and “touched her ‘butt.’” She also recalled Quigley leaving a Starburst candy on her desk along with a note saying, “I would smash you into thin powder, mix you with water and drink it.” As detailed in the affidavit, Quigley once asked the teen to sign a “written contract” that stipulated he “would give her an average of 85% or above in his class” and prohibited her from “telling anyone what was happening and from getting anywhere close to” his wife Carla, a Richardson High School English teacher. The girl told cops she did not sign the contract. Quigley, who has taught at the school for five years, was placed on administrative leave following his arrest. You can’t be serious!!!!!!

SMH. Victims of HIV already have enough stigma to deal with without trash like this acting up. Via NY Daily News reports : A woman tried to swipe a stack of frozen dinners from a Texas Walmart by threatening a store clerk with HIV, police said. Dallas police arrested 25-year-old Diamond Lawrence Thursday after she allegedly attacked an employee in a bid to give him the virus and make off with $11 worth of stolen food. Lawrence made it outside the store with her tiny plunder when an employee asked her to come back, NBC Dallas-Fort Worth reported. That’s when she told the worker she had HIV and said “I can infect whomever I please,” police said. She struck the worker and scratched his neck, attempting to draw blood and expose him to HIV, police said. Then, she told him, “You’re welcome.” Medics said the worker had no bloodily fluid exchange with Lawrence, meaning he’s safe from the virus. While Wal-Mart doesn’t prosecute for stealing such a small amount of goods, Lawrence was arrested on two outstanding warrants: one for public intoxication and a second for an invalid driver’s license. She’s being held in the Dallas County Jail on $1,500 bail. If she’s stealing food, it seems likely she was hungry and in need — BUT that’s no excuse for trying to infect someone else with HIV. This is so sad … Dallas Man Murders High School Basketball Star Over Video Game Via The Grio reports: Jonathan Tramaine Turner, 19, was indicted Monday by a Dallas County grand jury in connection with the fatal beating of 18-year-old high school basketball star Troy Causey. The fight between the teens started over a video game, reports NBC Dallas-Fort Worth. “There’s a pain that feels like someone is drilling a hole in your stomach,” Causey’s mother Tammy Simpson told NBC after she found out Turner would only face manslaughter in lieu of a murder charge. “When they said that I just sank.” Turner and Causey lived together at the time of the altercation. According to authorities, Turner claims to have hit Causey, causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head. Police determined that account was not consistent with the results from the Dallas County Medical Examiner, Dr. Ventura, M.D., who stated, “this kind of skull fracture could not have been caused by the complainant striking the ground.” Causey’s mother believes there are more people, those who were present during the fight, who are also responsible for her son’s death. Whatever that was it was about more than a video game. The game was probably just the trigger. Rest in peace to this young man!

SMH: Sex Education Teacher Popped For Giving 13-Year-Old Boy Brain In The Classroom

Teachers having sex with students is like an epidemic in this country. Sex-Ed Teacher Gives Students Oral Sex According to NY Daily News A sex-ed teacher seduced her eighth-grade student after he said he had a problem with his manhood and she demanded to see it, police said. Marlena Mints, 31, allegedly performed oral sex on the 13-year-old in her classroom during recess at Bessie Coleman Middle School in Cedar Hill, near Dallas. She is also accused of taking another young boy back to her home, where she is also alleged to have performed oral sex. Cops were tipped off last week when one of the students started bragging about the relationship. Mints was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of improper relationship with students. Police documents claim Mints exchanged text messages with both boys before making her move. The 13-year-old reportedly said he had a problem with his penis, to which she said she “needed to see it” and asked him to come into her class. Telling investigators he thought it would be alright as she was his sex-ed teacher, he exposed himself — which is when Mints allegedly performed oral sex. She also asked him to touch her breasts and buttocks. Mints picked up the other student, whose age was not given, in her car and took him home to seduce him, cops claim. The teacher has been suspended from her job and is currently being held in Dallas County Jail. Just plain nasty.
