Kim Davis: Kentucky Clerk JAILED For Refusing to Grant Same-Sex Marriage Licenses!

Earlier this week, outrage erupted over news that Kim Davis, a clerk in Rowan County, Kentucky, was refusing to grant same-sex marriage licenses on the grounds that doing so would conflict with her religious beliefs as an Apostolic Christian. Today, a federal judge ruled that Davis is in contempt of court and ordered that she be locked up. Judge David Bunning stated that Davis is bound by an oath of office to carry out the duties of her position, and refusing to do so puts her in violation of the law. Interestingly, Davis was elected to her post as a Democrat last November, and she's been married four times herself. Needless to say, many in Rowan County were surprised to learn that she holds such conservative views on the issue of marriage equality. Davis will reportedly be held in custody until she complies with the court's order to grant licenses to all couples wishing to be married in Rowan County.

The model is featured in a new commercial for YSL Beauty, a spot that is titled “The Rouge That Dresses Me,” and for good reason: Because the ad ends with Cara wearing nothing but this lipstick! Delevingne has never exactly been shy about donning her birthday suit, often posing topless or even all-out nude on Instagram. In this instance, Delevingne joins good friend Kendall Jenner in the beauty advertising game, with Kendall being featured in a new ad this week for an Estee Lauder fragrance. We'd ask which stars wears it better, but Delevingne is wearing nothing at all here, so that makes it tough to compare.

A very famous mother and daughter went out for Halloween last night dressed as a very famous sister and brother tandem. In honor of Halloween, Beyonce shared an adorable photo of herself and Blue Ivy on Instagram, writing as a caption: “Janet and MJ.” Yup. Jay Z’s most precious loved ones dressed up as Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson! Blue Ivy’s outfit is a replica of the iconic get-up that Michael Jackson wore to the 1984 American Music Awards. Beyonce, meanwhile, is channeling Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” look from the artist’s 1989 music video and the Rhythm Nation 1814 album. We love it! Earlier this week, Seattle Seahawks defensive back DeShawn Shead won the engagement game , proposing to his cheerleader of a girlfriend immediately after his team defeated the Denver Broncos in overtime. Prior to that, Joey Boyes won the Best Man toast game by creating an original song based on the movie Frozen. And now a woman on Reddit has won the wedding dress game by creating her own masterpiece for a grand total of $30, crocheting the gown during various commutes to work on the bus. It took this bride-to-be about five months and, of course, it helps if one is really good at knitting. But the following stop motion video depicts the beginning product and the finished product and proves that one need not mortgage one’s financial future for a dress one will wear a single time. The dress is also machine washable, adds the unnamed woman, who writes on Reddit that it “doesn’t wrinkle or need any special care, and I plan on wearing it again with linings of different colors and with the train bustled up in different ways.” So consider the challenge extended, women around the globe.
