Movieline Interviews Seth Aaron Henderson, the Winner of Project Runway

Following a nail-biting finale against competitors Mila Hermanovski and Emilio Sosa, Seth Aaron Henderson was declared Project Runway ‘s season seven champion. His Bryant Park collection comprised the cold and the carnivalesque. Leathers, plaids, Harlequin prints, and military jackets dominated his presentation, adding up to an explosive palette and hell of an opening statement on fashion’s biggest stage. Movieline caught up with Seth Aaron this morning to discuss his big win, making Tim Gunn get on a trampoline, and what he’s going to do with the strangest part of his earnings.

Seth Aaron Henderson Wins Project Runway

Look out, fashion industry: Seth Aaron Henderson is coming for you! The 38-year old from San Diego was crowned the winner of Project Runway last night, earning himself $100,000, an editorial feature in Marie Claire and a $50,000 technology suite from Hewlett-Packard to create, design, and run his business. Said Henderson, soon after he was named champion over fellow finalists Emilio Sosa and Mila Hermanovski: “I can’t believe I just won Project Runway . I’m ready to start a large clothing line. I’m ready to conquer the fashion industry.” Seth cites Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Dior as his fashion role models. Do you think he deserved to win?

Project Runway Recap: Gunn’s Goin’ Off!

Last night Tim Gunn visited Project Runway ‘s four remaining designers in their hometowns — their disgusting, smoke-gagged hamlets. With their polluted families running around. And their dogs . Tim wore enough sanitizer over his face and body that it hardened and looked like a beekeeper uniform. And for reasons unexplored, Tim Gunn was a jackass to the designers! For real! Let’s revisit his frosty rendezvous and ask ourselves whether the right designer — Jay or Mila — went home at episode’s end.
