Just days after Paul Walker was laid to rest in a private funeral, the 40-year-old’s death certificate has been released, confirming his cause of death. The document officially reiterates what the L.A. County coroner’s office determined earlier this month after the Fast and Furious star passed away. “Combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries ” killed the beloved actor. Meanwhile, Paul Walker’s funeral was held on Saturday, December 14. Family and friends of the star gathered to say their final goodbyes in a private service at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the Hollywood Hills. Later that day, about 200 people gathered at a sound stage on the Universal lot for a ceremony at which Ben Harper sang a song in Paul’s memory. Tyrese, Ludacris and Michelle Rodriguez, his co-stars from the film franchise, were just a few of the other stars on hand to honor Walker’s life as well. “There was a lot of crying” at the Paul Walker memorial service, which lasted only two hours, the source said, stating the obvious. “It was just very sad.” R.I.P.
