We got another look into the life of Lala and her family last night on the latest episode of “Lala’s Full Court Life.” We saw on last week’s episode that her hubby, Carmelo Anthony, was traded to the NY Knicks and on this week’s episode, we see just how hard that transition really was for Lala and her son, Kiyan. In order to cope with the stress of the move, Lala had her two besties, Dice and Po, fly to New York to be with her and Kiyan while Carmelo was on the road with the Knicks. The trio did what any normal person would do during a time of anxiety: down a couple drinks and do the “pee wee” dance on top of the bar! After hitting the bar and getting a little twisted, Lala was bombarded visited by some of her closest friends and family, over 12 of them to be exact, and was hounded with ticket and move in requests. As family oriented as Lala is, even she was a little overwhelmed by all the “love” she was being shown, and just wanted some time to herself to regroup after their impromptu move. Her son, Kiyan, must have felt her pain too because he even told cameras that he was done taping! You go Kiyan! Po and Dice being the best friends that they can be, took it upon themselves to try and bring Lala and Kiyan out of their funk while Carmelo was away. They ventured back to their old stomping grounds of Edgewater, New Jersey to reminisce about the good old days, waaaaay back when they didn’t own a pair of Louboutins, a multi-million dollar home and a custom made Range Rover. (lol) It’s always good to go back to your roots and see how far you’ve came and what you’ve accomplished… because if that doesn’t get Lala adjusted to New York life, then I don’t know what will! Lala’s new reality show, “Lala’s Full Court Life” continued last night with the third episode of this season. On this episode, Lala and Carmelo took us behind the scenes of the NBA trade when Carmelo was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the NY Knicks. We saw Lala and Carmelo attend events during the NBA All Star Weekend in LA that was held earlier this year with appearances from Trina and BET’s Terrence J. We then saw Carmelo attend press conferences after he finally became a Knicks player and moved to New York. Lala and their son Kiyan were thrown into the concrete jungle and as soon as they touched down, they were surrounded by paparazzi and reporters dying to get a picture of the family. Kiyan seemed to be overwhelmed by the madness which definitely stressed Lala out and led her to question their decision about moving from Denver to New York. Rapper 50 Cent also made an appearance in the show after we learned that Lala had a role in his new movie and that he was working on helping her expand her brand. Last night was the second episode of “Lala’s Full Court Life” on Vh1. On this episode, Lala helped celebrate her Bff Kelly Rowland’s 30th birthday. Lala, Kelly and Po released some stress at the gun range and then Kelly got her very first tattoo with her bff’s Lala and Serena Williams by her side. Lala then let us into her personal life and showed us that even for a super star like her, booking gigs and getting auditions is not easy and requires hard work! She took us behind the scenes as she was getting ready to host the red carpet at the “Critics Choice Awards” and even let us in on her “wardrobe malfunction”. Lala also touched on Carmelo’s NBA trade and the rumors that he wanted to leave Denver and head to New York only because of her. I absolutely love Lala’s show because it shows such positivity relationships with love, family and friendship. It’s great to see a positive black couple on reality television for a change with minimal drama! What did you think about this week’s episode? Will you tune into next week’s episode? Last night was the second episode of “The T.O Show.” Terrell is still recovering from his traumatic surgery and his doctors tell him that it will be challenging for him to play football in the upcoming season. Terrell becomes even more motivated from the doctor’s words and he puts his plan into action to be ready to go for the season. Kita reluctantly becomes Terrell’s “nurse” and tries her best to help him get better in the best way she can. She attempts to cook him a meal which turns out HORRIBLE and according to T.O had “strands of hair and weave all up in it!” Kita then goes to pick up Terrell’s black and yellow sports car from Alabama and blast’s Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” all the way back to Florida before getting stuck in a ditch! The show ends with Terrell and Kita having a playful/ flirtatious argument which makes it so obvious that they like each other!! LOL Did you enjoy last night’s episode? Will you tune in next week?
