Jenner Divorce Rumors

“These kind of stories have been circulating for the last couple of years,” Kris said. “We’re absolutely not filing for divorce. Everything is great. We feel very blessed as a family.” She acknowledged that if she and Jenner responded to every rumor about their family, there wouldn’t be enough hours in the day…which is probably true. But this seems to be one rumor that Twitter doesn’t want to give up on. Of course, the estimated $155 million they share probably has something to do with that… K

What The Hell?? NFL Player Sued For Destroying $2 Million Dollar Rental…The Home Had A “Putrid Stench Of Animal Waste”

NFL Player Sued For Destroying $2 Million Dollar Rental We know celebrities, professional athletes, and the like have a tendency to wild out and trash isht sometimes, but this is gross! Seattle Seahawk Kellen Winslow Junior is accused of destroying a Rancho Santa Fe home he and his wife rented last year, according to a lawsuit. The lawsuit, filed recently by the homeowners Ahmad and Nona Zarei, alleged Winslow Jr. of ruining $381,000 of furniture, rugs, and designer drapes. “This is a standard shakedown of a professional athlete,” said Winslow Jr.’s attorney Brian Watkins. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneer rented the home, located at the 17,100 block of Camino Acampo in Rancho Santa Fe, from January 2011 to June 2011 for $9,000 a month. The home is estimated to be worth about $2 million. The homeowners accused Winslow Jr. of leaving the home smelling like dog urine and feces. It alleged the home had a “putrid stench of animal waste.” “I don’t believe there was any damage. They said house smelled of urine. I did two walk-throughs and could not smell anything,” said Watkins. “That’s their motivation. They think they’ll get that from a professional athlete and it’s not going to happen.” Fox 5 contacted homeowner’s realtor, who also conducted the final walk-through. She said there was minor damage, nowhere near the estimated amount claimed in the lawsuit. Fox 5 contacted the homeowner and his attorney. Neither one returned the calls for comment. SMH if it’s true this guy and his wife are some nasty muhfuggas!!! Source

World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day comes amid progress, concern By the CNN WIre Staff December 1, 2010 2:32 a.m. EST A giant red ribbon hangs on the White House for observance of World AIDS Day. STORY HIGHLIGHTS * The estimated number of children with HIV/AIDS in 11 Asian countries increases 46 percent * The UN says the number of new HIV infections has dropped 20 percent in the past decade * But the number of new HIV infections outpaces the number of people starting treatment (CNN) — As the global community commemorates World AIDS Day on Wednesday, international health organizations report both promising and sobering trends. While the United Nations says new HIV infections have declined by almost 20 percent worldwide over the past decade, the estimated number of children living with HIV or AIDS in 11 Asian countries has increased by 46 percent between 2001 and 2009, the World Health Organization's South-East Asia office said Wednesday. “In 2001, an estimated 89,000 children were living with HIV/AIDS,” said Vismita Gupta-Smith, public information and advocacy officer for WHO's regional office in New Delhi, India. “In 2009, there are an estimated 130,000 children living with HIV infection,” including recent HIV infection, advanced HIV infection and AIDS. The 11 countries in the region are Bangladesh, Bhutan, North Korea, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Timor-Liste. But a report by a United Nations program released last month shows some encouraging news, including drops in AIDS-related deaths and new HIV cases. Data from the 2010 global report by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) shows that an estimated 2.6 million people became newly infected with HIV, compared with the estimated 3.1 million people infected in 1999. Also in 2009, approximately 1.8 million people died from AIDS-related illnesses, compared with the roughly 2.1 million in 2004, according to UNAIDS. Among young people in 15 of the most severely affected countries, the rate of new HIV infections has fallen by more than 25 percent, led by young people adopting safer sexual practices, according to UNAIDS. “We are breaking the trajectory of the AIDS epidemic with bold actions and smart choices,” said Michel Sidibe, executive director of UNAIDS. “Investments in the AIDS response are paying off, but gains are fragile — the challenge now is how we can all work to accelerate progress.” But not all the news from the UNAIDS report, which covered 182 countries, was good. “Even though the number of new HIV infections is decreasing, there are two new HIV infections for every one person starting HIV treatment,” UNAIDS said. Sub-Saharan Africa continues to be the region most affected by the epidemic, with 69 percent of all new HIV infections, according to UNAIDS. In seven countries, mostly in eastern Europe and central Asia, new HIV infection rates have increased by 25 percent. UNAIDS said in the Asia-Pacific region, 90 percent of countries have laws that obstruct the rights of people living with HIV. Despite the lower numbers of new HIV infections and AIDS-related deaths, UNAIDS said the demand for resources is surpassing the supply. “Donor governments' disbursements for the AIDS response in 2009 stood at $7.6 billion, lower than the $7.7 billion available in 2008,” UNAIDS said. “Declines in international investments will affect low-income countries the most — nearly 90 percent rely on international funding for their AIDS programs.” added by: EthicalVegan

Finding a Way Out: Oscar de la Hoya Included in a Lawsuit Filed by Pacquiao

A lawsuit was filed last December by Dan Petrocelli, Pacquiao’s lawyer against the Mayweathers, Richard Schaefer and Oscar de la Hoya. The lawsuit was filed after Pacquiao was accused by the Mayweathers that allegedly he was using performance-enhancing drugs (PED). The lawsuit was the answer of Pacquiao against the insults and accusations that have been said by the Mayweathers to him. De la Hoya’s lawyer Judd Burstein is the same lawyer that helped Pacquiao against his previous promoter Murad Muhammad in 2005. Burstein will try to get De la Hoya and Schaefer out of the filed lawsuit, the estimated damage as of now will be more than $5 million. Burstein was trusted by De la Hoya because of his good reputation on his profession, he already did some presentations for well-known persons like Don King, Lennox Lewis and Pacquiao, Donald Trump and The Backstreet Boys. Judd Burstein is helping Schafer and De la Hoya but he has nothing to do about the case of the Mayweathers. 2010 Clash of the Titans

The mortal son of the god Zeus embarks on a perilous journey to stop the underworld and its minions from spreading their evil to Earth as well as the heavens. The monsters themselves are pretty cool and I did enjoy the scene where Medusa and the awful Hydra speak to each other in distorted English! Obviously, this intended to match the scale of Fritz Lang’s two-part “Der Klash von Eschnapur” (1959),it cannot hold a candle to the German master’s work, but I noticed some echoes of that film in this production though, as in, recycled music and there was even some little bits ripped off from American movies as well, such as the Kraken from “Beastmaster: the Barbarian”.. The “gods” look like a rejects from 2003’s Ven Helsing, and they have a little monster friend who can’t walk upright (bad job there, guys) but does manage to hold his own nonetheless. Bobo, the owl mecha, can grow in size and has a head like a Cylon from “Battlestar Galactica” and hooks instead of paws. > > Read More 2010 Clash of the Titans is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading
